Wanting Alex's AT&T Ultra Clean ROM but using 6.1 - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

I am looking for a rom very similar to Alex Ultra Clean rom but running WM6.1 instead of the old 6.0. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I am looking for the most free ram. I don't need silly things like browsers or cameras. Just very very basic.

No offense, but after 282 posts , one would think that you should know better than to start a new thread in the rom development forum, saying this is what I want, can you all recommend the perfect rom for me ?
The majority of the roms are 6.1, unless labeled 6.5. Most all come in full and lite versions.
Just go through all the lite versions and first page screen shots and pick a lite version that most meets your needs

As already stated, there is no such thing as a "best" ROM. Try 'em out, keep the one(s) you like.

wow a little harsh huh? why the sour response?
Well, Doug is probably coming from some other forum where a new "Which is the best ROM?" kind of post is started each week. It is a natural question, but it gets old after a while.
In the Hermes thread for example, there are multiple kitchens for making ROMs, so everyone and his brother are putting out new ROMs constantly that suit their needs. Asking which is the best is kind of like asking which restaurant is best in San Francisco. There are good ones and bad ones, cheap ones and expensive ones, it is all a matter of taste.
At this point though, with three or so cooked ROMs out for the Kaiser, I think it might be a valid question. Most knowledgable people will have tried all three and come to some sort of conclusion.
Yeah really ! why would this piss anybody off ?

Really, a good way to find out what's best (for you) is to try them out. I know, everyone says that. But they say it for a reason.
A great place to find out before flashing is to hop into the individual threads for the specific ROMS and read what's included in each and what comments (good and bad) have been posted. There's only a few ROMs out at the moment, so that won't be hard at all.
Usually when anyone starts a thread like this they just want someone to throw out an easy "The best ROM is...". I am personally using the HTC stock at the moment. I like it for now, others don't. So, you'll have to decide for yourself.
Have fun finding out!

My issue with the question is that if there truly was a "best ROM so far" available, it would be posted as such and probably stickied. The point is that there is no BEST, even with only 3 of them out there. Each is different.
I've tried all three ROMs and seem to be about the same. Only differences are the apps included, and storage space. Check them out and see for yourself.
Kaiser Roms, which is best?
I spent the last two days testing out all the variants of the ROMS out there, and there are pretty much only 4 English versions available.
Here you go, a nice summary of the results in one quick read, but i've not included the links to the files, some work for you
1. the stock HTC one - RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.11_Ship.exe (uses WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620)
and then 3 or so (because he has sub versions to remove unnecessary programs) variants of the same ROM by Helmi:
2. helmi_Kaiser_1.57.000.1_AKU.0.7.0.Cooked.exe - a cooked version based on HTC WWE version but has newer WM6 CE base code (WM6 CE OS 5.2.1908)
3. Helmi_Kaiser_1.57.00.02_AKU.0.7.0.Cooked.exe - another cooked version of HTC_WWE version but has selectable "activator" directory of cabs that the user can install as desired. Also uses same WM6 CE OS 5.2.1908 as above.
4. Helmi_Kaiser_1.57.00.03_AKU.0.7.0.Cooked.exe - yet another flavour, but this one has virtually all extra programs removed in a good attempt at freeing up as much memory as possible, it also uses a newer version of WM6 CE OS 5.2.1921.
see Helmi's link for all the info. My hats off to you Helmi.
In the end, I decided to go with the standard version as released by HTC, as I didn't notice much of a difference myself. I have naturally upgraded various cabs and installed my ideal base set of apps to get the machine setup as I prefer. My decision to go this way was based on what I prefer and you should really try the ROMS yourself to make the correct decision, I didn't try every program with each version so perhaps i missed things.
I upgraded the Radio to version 1.27.12.17. -(this doesn't appear to make any difference to my terrible radio reception or the random dropping off of the radio link to GSM, neither does selecting the gsm option under band instead of auto). Thank god that I don't use 3G as there seems to be a real problem with the UMTS radio code. I just hope that I don't have a hardware fault, but I doubt it as numerous other people and links reflect similar issues to mine. We can only hope that HTC will release new RADIO code soon.
So, I wish you well in your endeavor to find "the perfect ROM".....
While I wouldn't have posted "best rom" question (as I agree, that is so subjective), that is a great help SAppie! Thanks!
Agree and Disagree
Not wanting to piss everyone off
I think the OP was requesting ROM test result and comparison, like SAppie comment, as I also agree there's no such thing as 'best ROM'.
Now, there're release with WM6.5 and others. Anyone can update this with newer ROM's comparison?
As a newbie in WM myself, some of the thread has 1000 pages .. to read all will be tough, but sometimes that's the only way. The FAQ and sticky is helpful as starting point for me ..
well i tried athineos os, hyperdragon III, life in 3d and now i will try 6.5 beta but so far the fastest is the athineos and it greaat
This is an old topic with no real constructive merit, so I'm closing it.
Perhaps this thread is what you're after: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=399510

Where to get WM 6.5 for the Fuze?

Where do you get the WM 6.5 ROM for the Fuze? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Just head over to the Raphael Rom Development section and there are tons of 6.5 ROMs to choose from....
of course, however, read the first sticky on flashing a rom in detail and do your research.
Officially, ATT is not purported to release a 6.5 for the fuze.
I have to recommend NRG’s Energy 3.0 Phoenix ROMs. I am running the 052209 version and he just released the 052809 update. I have found NRG’s ROMs to be FAST and VERY stable. If this is your first flash, this one might be the best to go with at first, hell it is the best what am I saying.
I can also recommend RRE's rom, which is what I'm using. I haven't tried the other one, because I was too lazy to set up the connections over the weekend myself. The RRE rom is configured to work "out of the box" on the at&t network. Fast & stable. Haven't had one problem with it. When we have another "rainy day" and I can't get outside, I might screw around with some of the others. Give the 6.5 a try, it's (in my opinion) better than 6.1.
But, BE WARNED! The cooks almost always post an FAQ section on their respective rom section because they get tired of answer the same questions over and over and over again....who wouldn't, so, if you ask a newbie question, expect to be ignored or flamed.
give it a try, and have fun!

Different 6.1 ROMs / 6.5 ROMs sections

Hi.
Sorry if this is a bit OT.
I've been thinking, that it would be nice to have WM6.1 ROMs in their own section and 6.5 ROM's in another section. Am I the only one?
Just a thought.
My opinion, is that the Kaiser forum is quieting down. Chefs are moving onto newer devices and producing less ROMs. I'm sure when the official 6.5 comes out there will be an influx of new ROMs, but, on the whole I don't think there is enough ROMs to merit a new forum.
The wiki should provide a better overview (if it was more upto date ) : http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Kaiser_Cooked_ROMs.
Dave
I like that idea. I'm still sticking to 6.1 and it's just hard to find these ones with all the 6.5 Roms coming out

+1 it's not hard to view the first 1-4 pages and then if you want something old using search, i like it how it is as the most up to date ROMs on first page means less clicking for me

Help: Best Lite Stable Cooked ROM

There are so many cooked ROM here. I am not able to locate the best lite stable cooked one! Can any one help us?
Lite cooked WM6.1 ROM (build 21014)
Over 100 members have viewed my request and no one reply to my request. Any one can help me, please?
Guess not.
Each cooked ROM is specific, and people look for different things in them.
So everyone has to decide for her/himself.
And on the other hand, You should look in "Polaris upgrading" subforum...
Hi, if you like Lite Roms I recommend you the ones in my signature, depending on wm6.1 or wm6.5 usage. (Radio 1.59 in both cases). I only can talk well about both of them. They seem to me fast and stable and with lots of space for your own customization.
It is not easy to find posts on the topic of pros and cons, so those who do not like to flash have difficulties choosing. My suggestion is to check always the posts and the signatures, since then you can see how other people has evolved in their choice.

What is the best 2.1 Rom

Im currently using cyanogen's 5.0.8test1 mod on my G1 but i wanted to know if there is anything better out there and what peoples opinions are
Screenshot differences would be good, or just tell me what you like about one version that isnt available in another
look in the rom bible or on androidSPIN.com
Cyanogen is the base for every 2.1 ROM, so what is better than Cyanogen!?
Best rom
Best 2.1 is happy rom best overall is htc clay xperia rom
I would go with SuperBad 1.5 from HTCCLAY. That rom is a beast. Or, you can wait for a new version of SuperBad which should be out today or tomorrow.

Please don't start a new thread for this kind of question. You're going to get 5 different answers. It's much better to research the options and try them for yourself. Like others have said, check the ROM Bible.
First thing I would do is learn to read the forums rules.
Second I would learn to post in the right section.
Third go learn what a search button is.
Fourth and finally… Figure out for myself what I wanted from a rom the go to the top of this forum and read the rom bible.
P.S. If all the above proves to hard… Go buy an Iturd!
What is best is a matter of personal taste. Therefore, "what's best" threads are not allowed. Furthermore, the development forum is ONLY for development threads. For any future questions that need answers, post in the QUESTIONS & ANSWERS sub forum.
