well i was told by att support that the aim used in the fuze uses text
There are clients out there which use the SMS, which is probably what you're speaking of. Was it the Oz Client which was on your phone? With AIM, Yahoo!, and ICQ I think?

Could anyone suggest an IM client compatible with this ROM version?
Thanks in advance
IM+ is working fine for me
Imove messenger basic (free), Octrotalk (free while in beta) and fring all work fine on that rom as I have them installed on it already.
I currently have that rom.. I haven't used Imove but I am currently use Octatalk (sp?) and it works fine but there r some problems I've been having.. lol when im on it.. sometimes when the screen is off it won't turn back on.. and I dnt like that when ur online it say ur on octatalk.. but other than that I think its one of the best IM I've used and I've used agile, +IM, etc.
Thanks, mates Octrotalk wouldn't sign me in in the ICQ-network for an unknown reason. I have installed already Imove messenger basic. Works fine for now

I had a 6 digit icq # I've probably kept for 10+ years...they just deleted my account (I've been using it) randomly one day and of course their only solution was "create another account"......smucks!
i don't know if this will work for you, but you could try the T-mobile's IM service that comes in the extended rom

I am currently running XM6. There isn't any IM feature preinstalled
I meant the T-Mobile official rom. You can find the extended rom on this forum somewhere. sorry, I don't know which one exactly

The latest t-mobile rom was called 2.26 if i remember correctly. But. Doesnt their messenger utilize SMS messages to communicate rather than the internet?

The T-Mobile IM client is an OZ product, and is VERRRRYYYYY Slow....I'd suggest anything other than that one.

AT&T's OZ mesenger IM app uses SMS. Maybe a search will get you a cab?
Hi,
I've used the search feature but not found much to help.
I've just got hold of a HD2 on T-mobile but it looks as though they've removed the youtube app from the phone.
Any ideas how I can get it back or get another youtube widget for the phone?
Thanks
I second that! Can anyone strip it from the original ROM?
Ever tried google?
Here you go. Try if it works for you:

You sir, are a real star thank you so much. this is exactly the version I wanted, as the m.youtube/app version is very basic apart from the selection screen scrolling which is cool.

Good man
Thanks for the download link. I have been wondering how I could get the app on my phone. One thing though, when you into data services and try to login to the YouTube app it's just saying "connection error"
I've tried WiFi and through TMOB, both connections say the same.. Any idea's? I would like to login so I can see all my subscriptions etc.
you need to phone t-mobile customer services. they treat youtube as an over-18 website and is hence restricted. phone them up and request they enable access - i think theyll ask your date of birth, if u 18 or over, then they will enable access.
That's mad. Surely they know I'm over 18, I just upgraded my contract with them when you have to over 18 for...
That's for the tip.
Just logged on to my T-mobile account and content log is removed.
I installed this on my tmobile (UK) HD2 and it stopped videos from playing! When I uninstalled it, they started working again. Any ideas how to fix this?

gents gents relax.what you need to do is go to m.google.com/youtube by using the internet explorer on your phone (will not work with opera or skyfire). after installation you should now have the working youtube app and the ability to watch your mp4s via the sense video player
alternatively you can update to a new official or cooked rom via hspl. I was like you guys until a few weeks ago and trust me once I started flashing my phone I've never looked back
