Has anyone ported the Toggle apps available for the JF builds to the Haykuro builds. You know the ones, Blutooth Toggle, Wifi Toggle etc.. would love to have these back! I wish I was a coder, I am sure a simple script could sort this problem out, so have to rely on those brainy devs instead!
The only toggles I found that didn't work on Haykuro's build was the Bluetooth toggle and Brightness setting. All the other toggles worked for me, including Wifi.
I had to uninstall Toggle Settings and replace it with Useful Switchers because TS wouldn't work with Dude's build.

Yes ofcourse, WiFi does work. Its mainly for Bluetooth I was hankering for. Does anyone know of a script that I could add with the excellent GScript app to automatically script bluetooth on and off.. This would make my music experience with A2DP so much more pleasant! Thanks

Use bettercut. The bluetooth toggle shortcut in bettercut works with the cupcake builds.

I would love to have a toggle widget for the wireless hotspot feature in cyanogenmod 6. It is a bit annoying to have to go into settings each time to activate it as I use it alot.
Anyone wish they had it also?
There's a lot of Widgets in the market that work. I just tested hot spot toggle, it works fine
How can I create a lockscreen gesture to toggle bluetooth on/off? I ca create a gesture to take me to the bluetooth settings but I just want to be able to toggle it on/off from the lockscreen.
Am I blind or is the option not obvious.

I just did some playing around and couldn't seem to find a way to do this either. However, now you've piqued my interest as this would be an awesome thing to be able to do lol
*bump* for anyone that knows how to do this for cm7...
There are a few ways that this could be possible..if I could figure out if there is a way to do them in cm7:
1. Like op suggested, gesture to toggle bluetooth
2. Give access to notification bar on lockscreen so you can toggle on the power control widgets
3. Be able to install a toggle widget on the lockscreen
I know that 2 and 3 are doable with widgetlocker but i'd like to find some intrinsic/native way of cm7 to do it...
If anyone knows any of these methods...please let us know...
It's been a while, have you found any way to do it?
I can think of a silly way.
1. Create 2 apps for enabling and disabling BT.
2. Run each app from home screen with different gistures
What i could find is this.
Gesture to go directly to bluetooth settings. Enable or disable there.
Lockscreen gesture lets you choose a shortcut as the target of the gesture. I have created an app called "Toggle Settings" which exposes toggling Bluetooth and WiFi as system shortcuts. So you install this app and then when setting up the gesture choose shortcut and then choose "Toggle Settings" and choose WiFi or Bluetooth. Potentially other toggleable settings could be added too. you can download it from here: goo.gl/0b6sj
I need a power toggle widget that is similar to Widgetsoid or Extended Power Controls that allows me to toggle on and off the GPS and 3G/EDGE without the need to go into the menu. I like the one that is in CM7 but rather stay on stock roms or AXURA ROM
widgetsoid 2.x

I am using widgetsoid2.x right now and I have set it to use root for data toggle but it didn't prompt for root access, if I can get it to let me toggle GPS and Data Connection without the need to go into the settings it would be great and perfect!

Switchpro is good. Costs $1 in the market. Gingerbread support was recently added and it works well. I can switch 3g on/off fine. Everything prior to the gingerbread update worked except 3g.

I'm not sure about customizing the provided one, when I was using the stock rom I looked for a way and didn't find anything. Since switching to CM10 it has a similar way with quick settings being customizable in notification area.
You could use Notification Toggle, an app that adds buttons to the notification area, but Samsung already crammed that notification area so full I wasn't real happy with it as it was - and this would just make it fuller...
I want to keep bluetooth on all the time, but I don't like the BT icon always sitting in my status bar even when nothing's connected. I know I can disable the icon altogether with system UI tuner, but I do want to see it when a BT device is connected. Is this possible?
Thanks!

Are you rooted and willing to lose Google Pay? If so, then try installing Xposed and check to see if gravity box will allow you to customize that feature. I'm not sure that it will but it has the best chance.
How about you turn off bluetooth when it's not in use? It will save on battery life in the long run, not to mention it's in the quick settings so it's really quick to turn off and on.

I just use macrodroid for automation helps me a lot, turn off Bluetooth when it got disconnected..lower brightness at a specific time etc.
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
If you have xposed then Gravity box will do it.
