Hi,
Can someone suggest where I can find an install package (ROM or Cab, not sure which it would be) for the Diamond2 Manilla.
I have looked at a number of ROMs in the forum but would rather just install the new version of manilla if thats possible. I have searched but only found complete ROMs when i'm actually quite happy with my current ROM.

I have a Tytn II with normal Rom version 3.29.707.0 WWE
Radio Version is 1.65.16.25
I am very new to this ROM cooking & flashing thing but it looks amazing & interesting to see how you make your devices look mesmerizing with all those features that you work upon. I read few instructions about how to install these cooked roms with RUU files..But due to lack of knowledge & experience, it doesn't seem to be working for me. I am looking forward to a Manila 3d or 2d rom's .cab file which comparatively is easier to install. Can someone please help me with a file or a link from where i can get a working Manila or any other Touch 3D rom's .cab file that i can use for my Kaiser..Your help will be highly appreciated.
I found one working .cab file for Manila 2d but it doesn't work in landscape mode.

Firstly this should be posted in the software section as it has nothing to do with rom development. Had you posted in software you would have seen this.

Manila 2D was ported from devices that do not have slide out keyboards, that is why it does not work in landscape. For more on M2D see my titorial here.

I suppose that my question can be solved quickly through you experts
I 've got a Kaiser with the M-Opal ROM, which has a M2D already built in - but it shows Ver.1.0XXXX. So I've seen that there are lots of newer builds available, how can I install them onto my phone?
I am asking this because in all kinds of downloadable installations there is required to uninstall all previous versions...

Whatever... Is there a possibility to get the main-windows system in german (and to translate some parts of the M2D?) But Windows in german would a good start...
I'm using WM for serveral years and I can remind myself that I had a kind of MUI or language pack for my WM5 which was running on my Tornado (Smartphone). Thats what I'd like to have additiona to that rom.
And also: is it possible to disable the honeycomb-menue style? I don't like it.

Hi first time poster.
I am the proud owner of a HTC touch pro 2.
Ive been reading on this site about the different roms eg Manila but goodness im so confused, im not really that tech pro. In my settings screen it says "TouchFlo 3D 2.1.38158.2", after some reading on this site it seems to me thats the manila version. is that right? if so how do i upgrade it so i can use the custom themes and skins.
Also i have windows 6.1 on my device atm. should/can i flash it? If so what is the recommended rom to put on (if thats the right way to put it)

You can upgrade to wm6.5 if you want.
I can recommend Energy ROM´s
Leo= Manila 2.5 (slower for Rhodium)
Phoenix2= Manila 2.1 (better for Rhodium)

I just flashed my fone with hardspl but have yet to install a rom.
should i (do i have to) update my wm6.1 to wm6.5 to use the Energyroms?
i guess another way to put that question is, is it worth installing roms on my 6.1 or is it just simply better and wiser to upgrade to 6.5 and then flash a rom?

And if you don´t like 6.5 you can always move it back easy!

I cant seem to locat.e an upgrade rom for my fone and ive searched these and other forums like crazy, ive googled everything, been on the HTC website i just cant seem to locate it.

Ok, i have a blackstone, with a few installed apps (nothing special). but while searching through the forum i see alot of things about manila.
from what i understand it's basically a new interface for the phone, making alot of things better?
could someone link me to the latest version of manila? i've tried searching but i dont want to go installing an outdated version.
Is it easy to install? (just like most other apps?)
and will i lose all my other apps if i do install?
what are some must-have things to go with manila?

Moved as not software release.
Manilla is the code name for the HTC's TouchFlo custom interface for Winmo. I don't think it's available as an upgrade, you'd have to flash a custom rom to get newer versions.
How do I upgrade my TouchFLO 3d 2.1 to Sense 2.5?
The topic pretty much says it all. I REALLY want to install CHT, since it has all the features that I would die for in touchflo, but I'm running the firmware that first shipped with the TouchPRO 2. Windows Mobile 6.1 and TouchFLO 2.1. I really dont want to flash my rom if I don't absolutely have too.
Where can I find information on installing Sense 2.5 on my device? If I can't do it without flashing, what rom would you recomend?
This requires a ROM flash.
I suspect you may be using a Sprint device given the versions you list, but can't be sure.
ROM recommendations won't be useful to you unless people at an absolute minimum know what hardware you have (GSM? CDMA?) and what features you value in a ROM apart from Sense 2.5.
you should go over to PPCgeeks.com and look in the upgrade section for CDMA or GSM TP2 ROMs... you can read up on flashing, which is pretty easy to do, and they go into detail in individual threads regarding what the different chefs cook into their ROMs... there are a ton of 2.5 ROMs out there...
I'm too new to post a link, but over at ppcgeeks (dotCom) there is a thread (112066) titled "HTC Sense 2.5 cab ? "
It might be rather useful. I haven't tried it because I'm pretty happy with the stock VZW 6.5 sense 2.1 (for now, lol).
