Please help! I tried to search for an answer to my problem, but while it seems there have been issues aplenty with WM and BT, I couldn't find a similar case.
So, how it goes: I have my Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 Bluetooth stereo headset connected to my TP, when I receive a call. I pick up the call with the headset, and everything goes smoothly for a couple of minutes, but then suddenly I can't hear anything from the earplugs. I check the phone, and it shows that BT is on, but doesn't have the icon indicating that a headset is connected. I check my headset, and it's powered up. The call has been transferred to the phone. I restart my headset, and the TP discovers the headset, after which I can redirect the call to the headset. After a few minutes it all happens again!
It's extremely frustrating! Can anyone help, please?
I'm using standard 1.90.401.1 WWE ROM.

I have an HTC Tilt 8925 with Windows Mobile 6.1. I recently purchased a plantronics voyager pro bluetooth headset. It will pair with the phone and I can hear beeps when I use the phone and the volume control on the headset changes the volume on the phone, but there is no sound from the phone call. Also, once connected to the headset the connection will not cease, I can get no sound out of the phone again until I turn it off and back on or do a soft reset.
I confirmed the headset works as it is also paired to my computer and has no problems. This also happened with a previous bluetooth headset I tried to use with this phone but I figured that might have been the headset. Any ideas?

I have a Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset which I use with the Nexus 5.
(Almost) every time I make a call, the headset first blips and you can see in the dialer that Bluetooth is chosen for sound output.
But just after dialing, the audio is back at the phone (handset earpiece). So I have to switch to Bluetooth again. Then during calls, sometimes the audio is routed back to the phone again.
It always works when you move it back to the Bluetooth headset again but it is very annoying.
Phone has stock 4.4.2-latest.
Any other threads about this? Bugs @ Google? Couldn't find anything..
I guess it depends on the Bluetooth device you're using. My nokia bluetooth headphones work perfectly where as I face similar problems like you when I'm using it in my car.
Maybe try the app soundabout from the playstore. Seem to work (sometimes) on my N4 when I had phone audio problems.
Easy solution to my problem: Unpaired the headset and paired it again, now it works as expected!
Hi!
I own my Z3 for just over a year now and when I am in a call, either holding the Z3 to my ear or having it in my pocket and connected to my in-car handsfree, it sometimes switches to internal handsfree (loudspeaker) mode by itself. When it does, the speaker icon on the screen is not displaying the handsfree status. Tapping it does switch it to the correct status and tapping it again switches to the internal speaker again. When in the car, I need to select the BT connection... which is not very safe and does not work all the time...
Anyone recognize this behaviour and perhaps have a fix?
Robert
