Keep Manila2D, Just Change Themes ! - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

I think the next best thing to having a stable and speedy ROM is the ability to change the OS theme every once in a while, or frequently, which makes it very important to have a collection of themes on hand. You would need of course the M2DC ( customizer ) to add the theme of choice.
before you start changing themes, you need to back up your ROM Theme. This is very important. to do so, open M2DC and in "restore" tab, click on "backup M2D Theme" just in case you need to go back to your original Theme.
I have compiled some of the nicest themes around, herewith. After downloading or saving them on your PC, you would need to change the theme file extension name of every theme you saved from zip to m2dct. This is very important, ie.. CleanClock_TWolf.zip becomes CleanClock_TWolf.m2dct .
Copy those themes on your SD card in a separate folder. Open M2DC and in "themes" click on "add" then start adding the themes one by one to your Manila Customizer Theme folder. You will be able to see how these themes look like on the Theme window of M2DC.
During the theme being applied a pop up window asks you if you are going to keep/or change the original icons, tabs and weather screen. very important to keep the weather screen unchanged. ( Check mark the first line box ).
This will help you not get bored with your phone and will look like you have a new ROM every time you install a new theme.
i know this is redundant thread, however, I felt there are a lot of noobs here now and they are flashing Roms right and left, just because they see the screen shots of the cooked ROM. this I hope will reduce the flashing errors and the ForNoGoodReason.
I have no objection if someone wants to take a task upon himself or herself to upload screen shots of those themes.
ps.... All Credits go to the creators of these themes.

more themes to upload to your device.
Here you go... more themes....
I tried to upload more themes, but the server keeps kicking me out... I hope that gives you a good start on customizing the way your kaiser looks.

Very good topic albeit that M2DC thread and denco7's HTC thread have the relevant info.
About above quote not important as M2DC supports .zip or .m2dct so no need to change the extension.
Just make sure them theme is not a .zip'd .m2dct.

iPhone by Lepsyfou Hung?
asfoor,
I tried iphone_by Lepsyfou and it always hung when I slide to SMS page on M2D. Even removing M2D from Today Setting won't close it and the only way is to SR. Other functions are ok though .. I suspected something is wrong with the image files. Do you mind testing and confirming?

Chris,
lepsyfou's theme includes two widgets that our standard M2D can not support unless you add them. I believe he added "Phone" and "Nav" tabs. You will have glitches with his theme for sure unless you modify the M2d registry and add the strings for widget he included. I am sorry I do not have time to test it fully, but I believe thats what is causing your freeze, not the SMS. It will freeze even when you slide to start Google.
There is another iPhone Theme that has the widget that are mapped to our M2D's and will not cause the freeze.

interesting thread.Thx guys

Asfoor,
I even tried copying manually just the image files, thinking it will simply replace the existing files, and the image will change. It always stuck on SMS (whenever I swipe to highlight SMS). It runs well for other tabs that currently we have, except for SMS ..
All done while Manila is disabled.I suspected the image file (png) is corrupted somehow, though, but will check when I have time.
Thanks for the tips though. I'll try again by removing the unused files, and run it through M2DC.

Thanx matrix for taking the time to post the images of the themes. I am experimenting with ThrottleLauncher_1.0_RC1 that integrates 3D without using too much resources. If someone wants the Cab file to test, here it is. Please post your results and images if you have time.
Remember to disable HTCHome or Manila prior to installing. After Install you can only run one theme or OS. This is the latest from Throttle Launcher.

Here is the direct link to Throttle Launcher website. The cab file I posted above is of the most recent version of TL, and is a non-beta and free to the users.
http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/downloads/56-tlauncher/119-10rc1release
The License is valid till May 12, 2009. A lifetime License is offered by APBilbo for a nominal donation of $1.00 ... Of course, larger donation is greatly appreciated by APBilbo; He has continuously supported our Kaiser firmware and software development and pioneered very appreciated OS enhancement all of us are enjoying everyday.

You are aware that Manila2D is a derivative of Throttle Launcher, which is a depiction of SPB Shell, right? HTC decided to adopt TL but wanted to change the name to Manila when the OS was first introduced to HTC Diamond.
There is one issue with the current release of TL RC1, and I am sure it has to do with other 3rd party programs. It will be resolved with a fix very soon.
The new SPB Shell V3.0 is by far more advanced than the current Manila3D, and offers a sophisticated/advanced touchFlo features iPhone dreams of having. If you can, give it a try and see what I am talking about. Maybe TL will follow the footsteps of SPB which in turn gets adapted by HTC R&D.

Hi asfoor!
glad you're experimenting with TL . Let me know if you have any doubts or problems... About your comment about licensing, as you've said the CAB file includes a license valid until 12 May, but users will always be able to download as much licenses as they want for free at www.throttlelauncher.com/keygen . So there's not time limit on how long you can use ThrottleLauncher for free, just you've to visit the web once a month (licenses last for that long). Also I'm sending lifetime licenses for users helping with themes and supporting TL (even with 1$ donations)....
Thanks for your interest!!

To clarify a little, though I have been using the slide for a while now, the slide program does not require WA or WAD to be ran, you copy the lock folder to anywhere on ppc, and then run the slide.exe program, and you may also change the background of the wallpaper to any image in bmp format by renaming it to wallpaper.bmp and also, the program does not automatically run after comming from standy, you have to activate the program by running the .exe file, or by assigning to hardware button as for right now. Not sure of anyway to have an app to auto run after comming from standbu, hopefully someone knows.

My 5cents
I have gotten the slider program to work via SkTools (memmaid will work too) and made a notification to run the program coming out of a wake up. However currently I have found this extremely buggy... ie sometimes the program runs multiple times when coming out of standby and sometimes causes an error..
My main use was to replace the now screen from mobile shell with this, seeing as that was my favorite part of mobile shell. If anyone knows of a program better for this, or has had better experience with getting the slider to work in wm6 out of standby, please let me know.

To have it run after you come out of standby, you need to add a "Notification Queue" entry for the slide.exe file with the WHEN setting of " The Device woke up"
You can add entries for any system state changes to the notification queue to run any program.

[Theme] VistaMobile VGA (AND NOW QVGA!) with Extras released!

Hey guys,
I posted a little teaser for my skin/theme, and I've got some pretty positive feedback/lots of traffic to my site. I have now released the theme in it's entirety, and it is available on my site for which you can find the link at the bottom of this post.
Lots of time and development have been put into creating this, and I couldn't have done it without the majority of graphics from Corleno. Thanks to him for allowing me to 'remix' his Wisbar Advance theme, "Vista Pocket".
Anyways, take a look at the pics below, and find a link to the download at my site. Sorry I did not post the actual files here, but posting it on my own site will allow me to update the theme easily if need be, and people from many other sites can comment on it there too. I really hope you enjoy this, as it took me much longer than it should have! (I'm not surprised, because I'm a pixel-perfectionist)

Hey man, glad you enjoy the theme. You actually need both of the software titles that you mentioned above. "Wisbar Advance (WA)" AND "Wisbar Advance Desktop (WAD)". That version of WAD should give you no problems, however I built and test this theme only on WA v2, and not the newest v3. I'm sure that it will work in v3, since I don't believe anything major has changed, however I cannot guarantee that since I only tested it with v2.
If you do try out v3, please let us know how it works.
Thanks!

Hi /b/-TarD,
That's actually a great question you ask. I have never had any memory issues with my Uni while running this theme. I also just checked my current memory status after a fresh reboot, and "DesktopApp.exe" (Wisbar Advance Desktop) is using 2.56mb of RAM, while "wisbaradv2.exe" (Wisbar Advance) is using 303kb of RAM.
This makes sense to me because the WAD theme is much more detailed and has larger graphics than the WA skin. For me, its worth sacrificing 2.9mb of RAM to run this theme set. I hope you'll agree too
Let me know if you do run into any issues with RAM usage, but I can tell you that everything works fine for me!
this is a great skin however i have had a few problems, not sure if it is the skin or my setings, i am using it on a SPV M5000 running WAD and WA2, not had issues with other sking but my machine keeps on "freezing" after a short while and the only way to respore it is to so a soft reset and load the skin up again. Hey Hooperman, I would have personally installed WA + WAD to the Main Memory and NOT the Storage Card. I know this requires a fair bit of free space in the Main Memory, but WA + WAD will definitely respond faster and keep running optimally.
My theme has been downloaded a sh*tload of times, and I haven't heard anyone else with your problems, so I would think that having your WA/WAD on the Storage Card is definitely the issue.
If you have the space, try installing WA/WAD to the Main Memory and let us know how it goes...
Hope this helps!

Hi azzkicker, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. It's quite unfortunate that the WAD skin is not working for you. Hey there kcguy,
First off, let me say that I have no problem with you creating a QVGA version of my theme. I just request that you keep all graphics as high-quality as you can, so that the theme doesn't lose it's visual appeal.
Also, please just send me a private message before you release the theme, so that we can ensure that everyone who participated in it's development is credited properly. I can also (and prefer to) host the QVGA version for you on my protogenLabs.com website.
Let me know how it's coming along, and if the above sounds good to you. Looking forward to seeing your work!
-scar
not a problem
scar45,
I didn't modify any of your graphics, only edited the sizes to fit the QVGA format. I'd be happy to send it to you so you can release it. That is the way it should be, since a lot of effort went into the design.
I have modified the landscape files also, but have had no success getting it to display when I'm in landscape mode. My wizard switches from portrait to landscape when you slide the qwerty out. Any ideas why it won't display? Only displays the default wisbar desktop theme in landscape, but instantly goes back to your theme when I close the keyboard and go back to portrait mode.
kcguy, can you post your qvga format? I would like to try this on my HTC hermes. Thanks.

hey kcguy,
Thanks for the effort you've put into making a QVGA version of my theme. I'm not sure why the landscape mode won't work, as I didn't run into the same problem as you. What I might suggest is to put the device in landscape mode, then try to re-select the landscape version of the theme, and hopefully it will stick (vistaMobile_L_(Q)VGA).
Anyways, let me know when you've completed the theme, and please send this to no one else but myself first, and following that, I will package it up for download and host it on my site.
Hope it's still coming along nicely!
-scar
It's complete
Hey scar45,
I don't know what the issue is with the landscape mode, but I have a work- around, if anybody else has the same issue. On my wizard, I had to open the landscape QVGA while in portrait mode on my phone as well as WAD. I then rotated the screne 90 deg. to the right so it displayed properly, opened my qwerty which switched the device to landscape mode, and no more problems. When you receive the zip file back, you'll notice that p_QVGA now shows two pages, 0 & 1 which I assume is because I opened the L_QVGA in portrait mode, but for whatever reason, it now works perfectly. I am trying to send you the files as we speak so you can take a look and decide if you want to release them. Thanks for the awesome theme!

Heya soalle,
At this point, I would say that this theme is not possible to use on a Smartphone QVGA device. The main core of the theme is based on Wisbar Advance/Wisbar Advance Desktop, and I don't believe that this program is available for the Smartphone version of Windows Mobile.
I wish there was a way that I could develop it for that, but unfortunately there isn't at this point in time.
I will be releasing kcguy's QVGA version of my theme for PocketPCs, so if you obtain one of those devices (or better yet, a VGA PPC), then you would be able to use this theme set.
Keep an eye out on this post though, and if anyone finds a way to make this theme usable on a Smartphone QVGA device, it will surely be posted here.
Thanks!

I think it should suffice to let the grid of icon be browsed with the smartphone joystick but I have no clue how to do it ;-)
Hey guys, I just wanted to *bump* this message up because thanks to kcguy (and some further configuring by me), my VistaMobile theme has now been released in a QVGA format!
A LOT of people had been asking for this version after I released the original, so after some time, and some help from kcguy, I was able to rewrite the theme to support QVGA devices.
I have tested it out on my QVGA Pocket PC Emulator, and it seemed to work perfectly fine. If anyone else runs into any issues, please post them in this thread, and I'll do my best to address them as soon as I possibly can. You might get a quicker response if you post an actual comment to my protogenLabs site where the file is hosted.
You can grab the actual .zip file here:
protogenLabs.com - VistaMobile PocketPC VGA and QVGA theme finally completed!
Anyways, Merry Xmas to all, and I hope you enjoy!

[TUT] Modify your E-mail tab (CHT 1.8.5)

First, I have to credit and thank the creators of CHT 1.8.5. Hands down for the masters and thank you for making the HD2 much more enjoyable. Thanks to brent372 for the tip on Total Commander.
Inspirational support (does that exist? Yah, from today on it does) came from snowblindman2142, conantroutman and Paten from the today screen topic.
We are going to tweak this white background and the text:

Prior to editing I would advise you to copy all your manila files from your \window root and save it in a folder in which you do not edit your files. If you mess up or are fed up with your adapted manila files, you can alwas revert to the old ones.
Things we’re going to do:
Extract stuff
Edit stuff
Upload stuff
Programs we’ll need:
Image editing software
CFC GUI (to extract/convert manila files; can also do this with m9editor)
M9editor (to adapt XML-parameters)
Total Commander CE (to place manila files back into your \windows root of your HD2)
These programs are part of the Manila Kitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=528548.
Total Commander CE is freeware and can be found at http://www.ghisler.com/ce.htm
Extract stuff:
-Backing up files and make a work-file
So let’s say you make a backup file called D:\OML\ and D:\AML\ (original manila list and adapted manila list, respectively). Copy all the manila files from your device you can find . You don’t touch the OML-file EVER unless you want the old file. Instead we are going to use the AML-file in CFC GUI and m9editor. Make an additional folder D:\AML\PNG\ for the edited images.
-Load work list in CFC GUI
Start CFC GUI and click File > Select folder. Select D:\AML\
The program now displays a list of manila files on the left side and scroll down till you find 32820efc_manila. Select and then click on “Save as…” in the lower right corner. Now, save this as 32820efc_manila.png in the D:\AML\PNG\ folder.
Edit stuff:
-Edit your mail background
Basically you need the plain ‘white note’ with the two lines as a template for the upper box (name of the sender, date and subject), body text, and lower box (account name and mailcount). For simplicity’s sake, we just let the position of the text in these boxes in the same place. If you want to, you can change the positions using mode9, but this takes a higher level of extreme geeking.
In this case we use Photoshop CS2 and I use a simple three-bubble layout. I won’t go into much detail about designing your lay-out, just a way to keep the correct boundaries for the texts in those three areas.
Open D:\AML\PNG\32820efc_manila.png and you will see the white note. Let’s put up some horizontal guides:
1. make a new guide and tick horizontal and place them at, say, 2 cm
2 and 3. use the selector tool to move the guides over the lines
Now go frenzy on your design; mine is just dark blue for the top and bottom bubble and a light background for the body text in the middle big bubble.
Save your file with the same name (you can always get the old one from the back-up file) and go back to CFC GUI. Select again 32820efc_manila in the list on the left and now click on “Replace with…” Select your adapted file in the D:\AML\PNG\ folder and you’ll see the background has changed. Hoorah… Now click on “Pad”
Copy this new 32820efc_manila from your D:\AML\ folder to your SD-card of your HD2. Startup Total Commander and copy it to your \windows root folder. Restart your device and you should end up with this:
…but the black characters on a dark background are hard to read, so let’s change the font color.
-Edit your mail font color
To change these parameters we use m9editor. Open it and probably you’ll get an error. Just click “Ok” and when asked for work paths fill in D:\AML\
You’ll see it resembles CFC GUI, but in here you can also edit mode9 files. The parameters we have to change are in 3da9711b_manila so double click on it in the list.
You will see a tree opening in the upper panel. Now expand D:\AML\3da9711b_manila > movie > library manager > library and expand the fifth <character…>
Now take a look in the picture below what we have to change:
If you’re a bit of a programmer the Instance Names give away what object controls which text line so for instance <Property> Name=Instance Name Value=“SenderText” controls the parameters for the name of the sender (selected in picture above). We also have to repeat this for the other four lines (date, subject, account name and mail count)
So let’s change the RGB values for this one to make it more visible. Let’s change this in white and the RGB codes are 255,255,255 for white (look it up on the internet or in Photoshop).
Once you’ve clicked ok, you can move to the next line. When finished editing, save your manila file (you might need to remove your old manila file, since it’s read-only).
As mentioned earlier, copy the D:\AML\3da9711b_manila to your SD card and with Total Commander to your \windows root. Reboot device and your mail now should look like this:
Happy editing!
=====
UPDATE August 23rd, 2010
You can edit the landscape view by adapting 0656d327_manila the same way (Thanks to mickael91210!)

For those people who don't have Photoshop, I use Gimp, which is free, to edit my image files. I'm no expert in creating any designs but for simple things it gets the job done for me.
This is a really nice tutoriall!! Well done sir

You might want to swap that screenshot for a new one....... with Green Tab Names.... it will change all the tabs btw......
Doodkapje, I'll post the manila mode9 file for changing the tab titles in case you want to include that in your tutorial.....
Its just a case of opening up the file tree and changing the two colour values to whatever you want..
Thanks to poyensa and paten for that one
Can somebody add a delete button or option in the E-Mail Tab menu. That is my only mod I am hoping somebody will find a solution for at the moment.
Like deleting spam without having to open the inbox.

Spot on! Just tested, all but a couple work..
People-Green!
Messages-Geen!
Mail-Green! <--looks soo cool mow
Internet-White (might be down to a cab I use that removes all the bits around the search bar and leaves just the search window)
Calender-Green!
Stocks-Green!
Photos&Videos-Green!
Music-Green untill the album art loads then goes white..
Twitter-Green!
Footprints-Green!

This is amazing. Prob the best TUT I have seen on this. I head read some others, but let's face it, not everyone knows how to give instructions.
Questions:
* Is there anything that has a list of all Manila files and what they do?
* Do you know of any other TUTS on Manila mods or Theme Creation? (I have a bunch of Theme Ideas i would love to try
* Any TUTs on editing task bars, soft bars, or quick links? How about Toggle switches
Once again, TY TY TY!
Medievil Mail......
@snowblind.....
I didnt notice that, but I tested all the colours I did and they all do that.....
Either those tabs are affected by a different manila file or I need to add "color" values in somewhere in the file Im using.......

Quick question, the font on your medievil mail tab, is that local to the tab or is it all over the phone?

Its all over the phone Im afraid..........
However, from what I saw when I was changing the mode9 file there were things related to fonts. Im hoping that I might be able to assign certain fonts to certain tabs, Im not sure if it would be possible to restrict it to just one tab or if it would have to be on all (except music and internet) of them.......
I have no knowledge of programming at all so looking through those mode9 files means nothing to me, its easy enough to pick out where the colours / fonts / sizes are but I have no idea which part they relate to or where I would need to add in new values to change things.........
Thank you!
Thank you for the tut how to change the font colour. The skining was not my problem but the font colour.
Works fine!

Well here it is, our first attempt at a full theme, right now we are running it on top of and it has been tested on Energy GTX roms 6.5 and 6.5.x as well as his standard cookie.
All parts are working fine on all three devices we build them on , but consider this a phase1 or beta as a complete theme. Reason being is if there is anything you think we should change or any icons that seem to be stock or out of place , we would appreciate the feed back and will be constantly updating it as we find new stuff to add or stuff that people think would look better another way.
Packed so far.
A full Orange Street icon set consisting of 704 sense icon changes. Including all digital clocks and number sets. Slider. Ect
A new action screen.
Wallpapers for the homescreen/ alltabs/ and weather specific wallpapers (we wil lshow you how to use these later.
Coming soon.
A fully OrangeStreet skinned Advanced End Key running via Mr Kurt Willems
A whole bunch of cool stuff designed to work with the latest CHT build
All in all its a fun build with some neat stuff.. so take it , break it, cut it into pieces, use what youd like and toss the rest.. and if you want something fixed or a new icon built, just point it out and one of us will build it or fix it for you asap, those of you who speak manila fluently, let us know the file name and it will be editted quicker.
If you modify or change this in anyway or cook it into anything all we ask is a head nod our direction and a post on this thread letting us know.

As the messaging setup is cooked into the ROM im afraid neither of us have much knowledge of how to get it working.
Perhaps the original creator might be able to help you in getting it to work on a different build.....
NRGZ does off the cab for htc messaging as an add on in his rom thread so it might be worth trying that cab by itself, I dont know if its specifically designed to work on his ROMS though.........

And of course Co0kiemonster, mike2nl, micheldiamond and everyone else behind the CHT Suite.
There are two ways to add this layout to your device......
CAB install MUST BE INSTALLED TO SD CARD
This will create a folder called "wallpapers" at the root of your SD card.
If you already have a folder with that name the walls will be added there.
When you change layout the walls will automatically change (hopefully )....

1 - Extract the zip file and place the folder inside on your SD card in the folder " _CHTScheduler".
2 - Create a folder at the root of your SD card called "wallpapers" and place the orange street walls in that folder
3 - Switch to the layout via CHTSwitchGui.........
IMPORTANT
For users with Non-English ROMS
Please note: The cab will only work on a WWE ROM due to the installation path....
If you would like to install on a non english ROM then please follow the "drag n drop" instructions above
or let me know the language you need it for and I will try to create one for your language........
Please Note - Previous modifications to your email/sms widgets will persist after installing this layout. You will also need to skin the taskbar/softkeybar via CHTWall.....
With that out of the way I present to you the first of my layouts for CHTScheduler.......Orange Street........
This is of course just a slimmed down CHTS version of the Orange Street theme by M0bmentality and myself,
the thread for the full theme can be found here
Download The Cab
Download The Zip
Download Much Better CHT Toggle Switches
Same rules as above.......
Fixed LS Clock......
Added Black and White M9 files for email tab......
Download The Cab
Download The Zip
Download Email/SMS Widget Skin
Download Mail Text Colour M9's
Some blue (and black)
Can provide a cab to change the RSS feed text to blue but it will persist after switching layouts so I just left it out.......
Download Cab
Download Zip
Got Wood?
Thanks to santod040 for the very nice wallpaper
Download Zip
No cab for this one, couldnt get it working. Seemed to crash sense.
Zip works fine though, copy the folder inside to "Storage Card\_CHTScheduler" as usual, use the walls if you want.
Enjoy.

This one was made for personal use more than anything
but I figured someone might get some use out of it..........
Might be useful as a blank canvas, just fill in the white with
your choice of colour and throw the files back onto your device.......
voila CHT in whatever colour you like....
I missed GTX so I decided to go all white........
**Important**
If you want the white RSS Reader then use the cab in the zip file. You MUST uninstall the previous cht rss reader you have. This is a must or sense will throw a tantrum........
Download Zip + Walls + White Rss reader
NIN fans will recognise this...........
Usual rules apply........
Download Zip and walls
Nasty Line In Your Flip Clock??
You need these........ (You can thank Degake )
Boot Screens Etc.........
Thanks to MadrauM and his awesome boot package I was inspired to make one of my own.
Figured I'd just post it here instead of spamming up the forum with another thread. If anyone has any requests for boot screens etc I'll try and find time to make them for you.
Thanks also to samsamuel for his tutorial on splash screens
First splash (where the RGD info shows)
Boot Animation
Welcomehead
To Install
The first splash has to be flashed to the device; follow these steps
1 - Unzip handdrawnsplash.bmp.rar to a folder on your desktop
2 - Connect you phone via activesync
3 - Run the CustomRuu that was in the zip
4 - Follow the on screen instructions
Dont worry no data wil be deleted from your device
The boot animation should be placed in your windows folder on device memory.
Rename to either "animated" or "LEO_animated"
(depends on device, check your windows folder to see which one you already have there)
The welcomehead is the same.
May need to be named either "welcomehead192" or "well"
For Future Layouts........

Didnt want to keep you waiting any longer.....
yes, looks great, good email (blue) coloured widget, but an orange one would have been even nicer,
.......noticed that all previous quicklinks are gone, no overlapping from my original layout
.......the white wallpaper in tabs makes the text in mails, messages and calender unreadable (i havent changed the colour/ font of text yet)
.......yes, you mapped the cht soft keys perfect with the first one for home, instead of the middle default one
......all in all, a great step forward for chts layouts...success!!
now going for icons to match...i know, i can catch some from your original thread....but is there a way, we can also save icons to layouts, because you need to keep changing them back and forth to match with layouts, may be will see jmwd icon manager...remember seeing some option to save something...will post back
have a "wallpapers" folder already on sd card, but a new one was created with your walls
got a blue circular analog clock...not the square orange one from your screenshots (solved: orange one is the main clock)
didnot yet get the lockscreen...mmm, do i need to soft reset?.(solved: sorry, my bad........disabled cht lockscreen )..
on 3.14wwe(india), radio 2.15, cht 2.0beta+ chtstate 108f, chte and chts 2.10

ahhh ok, looks like I forgot a few things.....
blue clock and mail/sms widget is a leftover from another layout of mine because I didnt skin it for this one.... will post a fix for that in a short while...
the square analog clock is the standard sense analogue not the cht widget.
unreadable text because of the white wallpaper is because I keep my text black all the time......
About the wallpaper folder, im not sure why that happened, it didnt in my test. Will investigate the cab.....
Thankyou very much for the feedback, very helpful.....
will post files to get rid of the nasty clock and blue widgets soon.....
There is currently no way to save icons through CHTS but JWMD icon chsanger has the options to save an icon theme and switch between them quickly...
Thanks again
Thanks my friend
Bravo troutman for opening this long overdue thread for CHTS layouts. Let's hope many more themers start using the CHTS folder option as it will make life way easier for lazy ****s like me

Thanks Dunc, someone had to do it lol
CHTS really is so much easier (when done right)
If anyone can confirm whether that fix folder has done the job than that would be great
sorry, but using the fix folder has not made any changes..:

hmmmm that's not good
I dont understand why that's happening because my widgets are not appearing like that.
do they go back to normal when you uninstall the cab??
or change to another layout?

no you dont need to, I was just curious if uninstalling my cab would change your widgets back to normal.
If you baseline is ok then thats the important thing.
The weird thing is that ive been through the cab and those files dont seem to be in there.....
im very confused.
would you be able to post a screnshot of the messed up widgets?

ok, i re- applied your layout, while enabling the setting in chts to keep quicklinks not assigned in your layout from my baseline/layout
ok, thanks for everything...hope you get the fix.....bye now its 3am ..zzzzzzzzzzz!
posting the screenshots..
landscape looks good..the wallpaper in landscape obviously is not from your pack

ok, that makes more sense, that email/sms is not mine, must be leftovers of a previous layout you have had before.
thankyou for that pakure, I can sleep easy now
Updated the cab and zip file;
Fixed the standalone analogue clock
Fixed HD Mini lock screen
Please uninstall - soft reset - install updated cab folder.
New layout coming soon........ with less bugs this time.... (hopefully)
