when i run kaiser-HardSPLv1 its stuck in 0% and after few second give error update..

If you're using vista, try going into mobile device center settings and unselect "Allow USB connections" put your phone in boot loader and try cid unlocking it again. This worked for me.

Try doing the same thing in xp. Go into connection settings in active syns and un-select allow usb connections and let her rip!
i do that but i cant run this application with bootloader .because its give a MSDOS windows it need activesync for run it.other wayS?

Better yet.... Why don't you spend an hour or two reading and learning how to do it instead of asking for a quick fix. You are not better than the rest of us who learned by reading. There are four sticky threads that explain how to unlock your CID and trouble shoot all possible issues.

HELLO,
I have read many forums on how to unlock the CID, but I am confused. I have read that it has not been done with the Universal, then I read a sticky that has the RUU and says it "bypasses" the CID. Well the biggets problem is that there are no instruccions on it.
Could someone please help me?
Is this why I enter where people offer roms, and have one for each variant? no CID unbloking required?

Olipro made an RUU that doesnt check CID
For these two reasons you dont need to make rom's for each brand of universal, however i know of at least one cook who does.

Well I did read wiki, but there is nothing clear on it. I will keep studying them.
My SIM is unlocked anyways, does that automaticaly give me the go?
Nope, SIM and CID unlocking are completely different. A SIM Lock makes sure you cant use different vendor's SIMs on your cell phone. The CID Lock makes sure that you cant use different OS on your PDA. Like, if you've got a T-Mobile OS installed that is CID Locked, trying to install O2's WM6 will mess up your PDA!

I am new to XDA and im getting ready to attempt, for the first time, flashing one of my phones to WM6. First of all Ive read the forum rules.ive gone through the tutorials and i have a decent understanding of how to unlock the CID and how to flash the phone. But after hours of searching i havent found a concrete answer to a question or 2.
I have a P4300 (110) running WM5. Its a G4 model as on startup it say 2.28.0001. This was purchased from a small cell phone company named UNICEL which is no longer in business and the phone has a UNICEL splash screen.
Since this company is not in business im unable to get the origional oem rom. Unless someone knows something i dont. Ive searched XDA, googled it, went to htc.com and got nothing.
Which brings me to my question. Is it imperitive that i have the origional oem rom? Or if i just unlock the CID will i then be able to flash to a wm6 rom? The SIM is already unlocked.
Also one last question. Im not sure how to correctly get into bootloader mode. I read some tutorials and it gave the same options as doing a hard reset. Is that considered the same thing?
Anyways sorry for the novel. Ive just been unable to find an answer for this searching xda and google. Thanks!
Oh and I fogot to mention im actually going to upgrade to WM6.1. Not that it makes a difference. But figured id mention it...

Ok.. I got the phone in bootloader mode finally. But now I'm having trouble syncing my phone in bootloader mode. I have windows VISTA and i know activesync has been replaced with Windows Mobile Device Center. I followed this tutorial --- > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=338473 to a T. And it still doesnt work. I can see the windows mobile device in Device manager. But windows mobile device center won't connect to it, and i tried running Hard SPL and it cannot find the device either. Is there a new way to go about this in Vista? I noticed this tutorial was a bit aged.

Connect your phone to the usb cable... go to my computer -> right click -> Manage... Then go to Device Manager and click on anything from that list and than click that little icon -> scan for hardware changes... than it detects your phone... this is how it works for me... i have to do it every time i connect my phone... and hope it works for you to...
and... if you decided to flash to a new ROM... go to http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wizard Windows Mobile 6 for newbies and follow the guide.
don`t put the phone in bootloader mode when you try to sync with the pc... it won`t detect it... when you will start the RUU then it will go it self in bootloader...
Anybody who known how to unlock CID on TyTNII without using ActiveSync.
My phone is stuck in bootloader and I can't use the many tools thats out there to unlock CID because I can't connect it to any PC via ActiveSync.
The phone has never had anything else than original store SPL and OS.
I have read tons of wikis and forums but nobody mention a way to unlock beside the ActiveSync-method. It should be possible to do that via MTTY?

Ok where to start I Have a dev unlocked HTC T7575(Arrive) with Mango 7720 and I'm trying to get interop unlocked??? I have tried HTC Interop unlock but cannot get HTC Connection Setup from HTC hub cuz it says my "phone is not supported" when I open app??? My phone has all default settings the only thing I have installed was Windows Phone Device Manager which also installed TouchXperience. Other than that I have also tried to install DFT HSPL RSPL WP7F3 but in order to install that I need Windows Mobile Device Center, so I download that, install on Windows 7 64bit laptop but it doesn't install device then it says my phone is not connected after installed and opened......it connects and sync with Zune same with Windows Phone Device Manager....But not WMDC????? I also just tried to install the DFT RSPL but when I shutdown to bootloader "serial" never pops up at bottom of screen? I have searched through all the forums and google for a week now. Everything is either outdated or hasn't worked for me. I'm really new at this mobile hacking but a long time programmer and would love to get into the homebrew apps. So any help would be much appreciated I normally don't ask for help, I like to tinker and learn. But you guys our my only hope now !!!!!!
you will need to do the "GOLD CARD" with this http://www.mediafire.com/?poug9h77ckfndde file to restore the OSPL at v 1.25, then you should be able to install the DFT HSPL

you can alway just buy a Y cable, a Female-Female gender changer and an adapter to MicroUSB. No soldering needed if you do that way.

no, if the arrive is half-bricked, there is no way to communicate with it while in the bootloader. This is why it must be reflashed using the gold card.
Hey, I have a HTC surround running windows 7.5 the os version is 7.10.7720.68
And I recently have tried to developer unlock my phone using chevronwp7.
But everytime I press unlock, it says I'm having problems connecting to your device, make sure it is pin unlocked and Zune is running; which it is. Can someone PLEASE guide me in the right direction? Thank you guys so much

Okayyyyy... a few things.
First. it looks like you're trying to use the original ChevronWP7 unlock. That tool is dead, and has been for over a year (it only worked on pre-NoDo ROMs). This is well documented. I'm not sure why people keep trying it... you'd think they'd read up a little before trying to use a hack on their phone.
Second. Why do you want to flash a stock ROM? (RUU = ROM Update Utility) In any case, the procedure is simple: turn the phone off, hold the Volume Down button, press Power to start the phone again. It'll boot to a screen with bands of color and yellow text. Next, connect it to the PC. You'll need the relevant drivers; Vista and up will install them automatically but for some reason you're still running an 11-year-old OS on your PC so you might need to install them manually (I think they are included with the Windows Mobile Device Center download from Microsoft). The phone should say USB at the bottom when it's connected; at that point just run the RUU program.
Thrid. RSPL / HSPL are replacement bootloaders for WP7. They allow installing custom ROMs. If you want to do that, you'll need to first downgrade your current bootloader; SPL 4.3 is too high for using RSPL. Since you're not on SPL 5.X yet, I think you can downgrade just by installing an older stock ROM or radio update. Otherwise, there are a number of guides for how to downgrade the SPL.

You are on a developer-locked HTC phone? The first option is to try getting dev-unlocked, for example by getting an AppHub account or a friend who has one. They're free for students (go through Dreamspark). The second option is to use a custom ROM. The third option is to wait until a new hack is found.
Once you're dev-unlocked, you can use the Interop-Unlock app from Heathcliff74 (the HTC one, specifically) to allow unlimited sideloading. Then, you can install WP7 Root Tools 0.9 to get nearly full access to the device.
