Thank's, i will try and reply.
no no... no hard reset. to my knowledge this is a common problem caused by a radio version. try upgrading to 1.09 or 1.11.
if this doesn't solve your problems, come back and we'll think of something else.

When I try to use the volume up/down buttons on the side of my Treo, it shows the battery status pop-up. VERY annoying.
I don't know how this happened...when I first got my Treo the volume worked fine...a pop-up showed that allowed me to control either the system volume or phone volume seperatlely.
Anyone? TIA

what software have you installed? i recall a certain app causing the volume button to display battery status.
If you installed SPB PLUS this is a known BUG

Yep...it was SPB Plus...thanks for the quick answer! It was driving me nuts (since I didn't remember when the problem started & wouldn't have realized the correlation w/SPB.)
I have an SPV E650 and just trying to figure out how to adjust the ringtone volume? i know there is an audio button on the side but that changes earpiece volume only if im not mistaken. Any ideas?
Cheers
go to profiles....
select your Normal Profile.. (if thats what you have selected ).....
and press menu (left bottom)....
select Edit....
there you can adjust the volume etc..

i cant seem to find the same for text message volume or is that included in the ring volume setting?
After some time of running the device volume buttons are acting as scroll. This can be good.. but the TouchFlow volume window comes up and it is very annoying.
The only way to revert this "feature" is to power down (soft reset does not do nothing).
Has anybody else observed this "feature"?
I'm looking for a tweek to change function of volume buttons for scroll buttons - looking veeeeeeery hard !

I've found the problem: it was caused by SKScheMa (used it to lock touch screen on incoming call)

Hello, I have the following problem.
I'm using a HTC Touch Diamond2 with the Topaz ESSentiaL v2.2.1 ROM (German).
If I want to adjust the volume of the Phone during a call, it happens nothing. I am using the HTC Volume Control. The other 2 volumes (system and ringer) can be adjusted without any problem.
But if I press the up/down key during a call, nothing happens, not even a window pops up.
Is there any way to get the volume control working without switching back to the standard Windows Mobile volume control? Or does anyone know the registry key for the in call volume so that I can adjust it manually?
Thanks
Chris
Does nobody have an idea? Or is there maybe a CAB to reinstall the HTC Volume Control to make it work again?
Not sure if I've done something by changing a setting but now the volume knob goes down when turning up and the opposite for the other way.
Volume works correctly via the SWC. Any ideas
so i solved this by resetting touch button panels as well as the knob control in factory settings. think i adjusted the knob control without realising
How did you reset the controls? Can you provide instructions? i have the same issue where down goes up and up goes down etc.

I'll check tomorrow but it was in factory settings and the knob control was on the wrong setting, think I just turned it to the next setting
it was: factory settings / other / Knob Mode: 0 8.2k / 15k ADC ports
