[Q] Boot Loop. USB not recognized. SD Card won't mount

Essentially What's wrong:
My phone is stuck in a boot loop, computers won't recognize the usb connection, and my sd card won't mount. My SD card is, however, recognizable if I plug it directly to my computer using an adapter.
What Happened:
I rooted my phone using CWM and Odin in order to remove bloatware and enable tethering. After enabling tethering, my computer stopped recognizing my phone. I tried everything to fix it including factory resetting my phone, formatting cache, data, system, and sd card all under the CWM boot menu (hold volup+home+power). Soon afterwards, my phone got stuck in a boot loop. On startup, it hangs on the white "Samsung" logo. While trying to fix the issue, I noticed that my sd card won't mount.
What I've tried:
I've tried this method, but it requires that I either have usb access or access to my phone. I've tried reinstalling the Samsung driver fifteen times. I've tried formatting the SD card in my computer. I've tried using different computers. I've tried using different usb cords. I've tried clearing the registry on my computer, I've tried scouring Google and these forums for a solution. Maybe I'm blind and missed something.
What I'm trying to do:
The way I see it, I need to figure out a way to flash the stock rom back to my phone. In order to do this, I need to get my usb to recognize. If I can do this, the rest is easy. Does anyone has any ideas on what can be done?

The phone not connecting: I have had this issue before. If you go into the device manager on the computer and show all devices, you can remove all the samsung usb drivers and the root usb drivers from the computer. Reboot the computer and leave the phone unplugged. it will reinstall the main drivers. reboot the phone and hold the buttons to enter recovery, it should still work even while stuck on samsung logo. connect the phone to pc and it should reinstall the drivers and connect properly.

Do you remember at all the name of the drivers that need to be uninstalled? When I plug in my Droid Charge, the computer attempts to install the drivers but it always fails. Under device manager I will then see "unknown deviced" labeled with a yellow exclamation mark. I uninstall that, then plug the phone back in but the same error occurs.
If there are other drivers that I need to uninstall, then I don't know what they're called. None of the devices in the manager say anything referring to samsung.

go to device manager and choose: view >> show hidden devices
then under the usb drivers look for and uninstall the SAMSUNG if any and uninstall the : Generic USB Hub if any, and uninstall USB Root Hub if any, and reboot computer.
THANK YOU
How don't know how I managed to miss this when trying to fix this over the past week+, but it worked. Getting rid of those root usb devices got my computer to recognize my phone, then I was able to easily use Odin to boot it back to the stock rom. Thank you so much. Crazy how such a simple solution can be the answer.

Hello, have tried uninstalling the USB drivers but Windows 10 re-installs these drivers upon restart. My Samsung SM-N750 is still not detected on via USB, and therefore cannot proceed with Odin firmware flash. Do you have any other suggestions? Many thanks.

[Q] No ROM, can't adb sideload!

So I wiped my phone, went to flash the unofficial kitkat CM rom, and found out I had the wrong recovery version. No biggie, I thought, I'll just reflash my backup ROM. Well, it wasn't where I left it, so now I'm stuck without a ROM to flash. That was okay, though, I could just push one via adb. Then my computer gave me the "USB device not recognized" thing, and so I've tried reinstalling drivers, cleaning the registry, rebooting many times, and all to no avail. I'm lost! Wise ones of XDA, what can I do?
Bump. I really could use some help, I use my phone for work and school and it's a paperweight in it's current state.
I'm guessing you have no access to an sdcard? Looks like you need to use Odin to go back to stock then reroot and unlock. Try uninstalling the drivers then boot your S3 into download mode (hold volume down, home, and power) follow the on-screen prompt, then plug your S3 into the computer to force install new drivers. Now, unplug and pull the battery and try flashing stock, and root/unlock. Try another port, keep the computer plugged into the wall, and also make sure you're using the Samsung USB cable.

No sd card. My computer shows the same "USB device not recognized" message while the phone is in either download mode or recovery, and while using my samsung usb cable and a new one I bought yesterday evening. I've deleted every driver for it, tried every port, and it's the same thing every time. EXCEPT, for some reason, when I plug it into my USB 3.0 ports, it shows up in device manager under "other devices- unknown device", but when it's plugged into my USB 2.0 port, it shows up under "USB controllers- unknown USB device (invalid device descriptor)".

If its not connecting to your main computer, try another computer. Honestly though, I think you need to purchase a cheap sdcard (format it to Fat32) and put a rom on there. Cuz you can still access download mode and also recovery correct? Maybe by then, there will be a few more replies or some idea that will get you in the right direction.

I just have my laptop. I've bought an sd card now, but I don't have a reader. When I fix this I'll put a backup on there I think I'm just going to reinstall windows and get a fresh start. Then maybe I'll be able to ADB sideload a rom.
I had similar problem
After I screwed up my device, this was the way I got the right recovery installed in order to flash 4.4
I cant post links in posts yet, I'll pm you the link.

Phone not detected by PC yet charges?

HTC One S4
Alright, I've looked into this for quite a bit. There's 3 things I've found:
- Change charging cable (done)
- Install HTC Sync (done)
- The USB connector port on the phone could be broken (hope not)
Anything else I can look into?
- Rom is ViperOneS JB
I believe I've tried ADB devices, I haven't really done any sort of ROM changing so I've forgotten much of this, but I believe ADB devices doesn't show any available devices.
EDIT: Another thing to add is that the PC recognises the phone when in CWM but doesn't mount the device such that I can access the files.
EDIT 2: I tried Fastboot USB, only comes up as Fastboot AC :/
Another thing: I charge my phone using a dodgy eBay USB cable, I didn't use this for connecting to the PC but whenever I plug in the charger the phone says to unlock in order to access files on the PC (as it would if my PC detected the phone).
Sorry to sound desperate but I need a response, fast!
Uninstal htc sync.
Instal latest HTC drivers & adb.
PS
Windows 8.1 have a problem with driver.
It says the device connected to the PC has "malfunctioned". I deleted HTC Sync, haven't updated ADB cos I can't remember the link.
Installed latest adb, no avail.

I already have those.
Anyone at all know anything?
Bump :/
It does say unlock to access phone storage on computer and then when I do, nothing happens.
I have the same issue, and I've tried to access my One S from multiple computers (different usb ports, 2.0, hub, et.c., Windows, OSX, Linux) and nothing seems to do the trick. I'm completely locked out from switch recovery (TWRP installed but can't be accessed, possibly due to old 1.13 hboot).
Sorry not to be able to offer any help, just that I doubt it'll be fixed in your case by switching computers/os/ports et.c. since I've tried most of that already, and I must've been through 10-12 different usb cables by now.
Just about ready to ditch this phone.
Flash the original recovery.

Pc not recognizing Phone.

Hello
Few days back I installed CynogenMod on My phone. Everything worked fine for few days and when suddenly I tried changing the APN settings yesterday and it wasn't happening. Then I needed to transfer some files on my phone again it didn't recognize it.
The pc drivers are all fine.
It is just charging and not showing any usb options.
adb is also not recognizing the device.
Tried different USB cables and USB ports? Tried booting TWRP and mounting partitions?
I removed Cynogenmod and there is no os installed. Now adb is not recognizing the device.
When i connect the device to the computer the connection sound comes, but nothing is visible in device manager or in explorer.
can anyone please help?

No need for adb, use fastboot commands to flash a factory image or use wugfresh nrt.
Try deleting drivers and reinstalling.
