Please Help! My JAMin is dead!

help... i downloaded smart1's (normal, not clean) update, and launched UPGRADE_ROM.DAT from PC... it said initializing and everything... and then it reached to "copying something.dll' ... i waited 10 minutes or so then i got something like:
"error cant copy ....... because connection closed from remote... something like that."
i did NOT touch the imate during the process
and now when i turn on my imate i get the HTC with white background for a second but then it freezes on the blue "i-mate" screen... displaying:
IPL 2.13.0001
SPL 2.13.0001
GSM 02.20.21
OS 10.1.0.811
when i connect it to pc, windows does recognise and install my device but ActiveSync doesnt connect.
i tried removing the battery then putting it back in then pressing and holding the conn. button along with the power button and i DO get to the bootloader screen (with three colors) and then when i plug in the usb i get a small 'usb' word at the bottom of the screen, but still, ActiveSync doesnt connect... i tried installing the update again... but the program doesnt find my device
how can i make it work again ??? plz help me

Now you need to find a rom that will install from bootloader mode and not an update........

i suppose this is the file i shoudl install right now using bootleader mode ? right ?

Just BEWARE that the rom you download is for your phone, it will be for a G3 or a G4, if you get it wrong, your phone is DEAD.

please. my phone doesnt move. it stuck on login screen.:
any way to restore it? i tried to hard reset, soft reset...nothing..
i tried to install smart 1 and after this happened

Problem solved
Same problem for me, but I solved today:
I connected the phone to pc in bootloader mode, the pc see the phone and says ppc usb sync, but the activesync not started.
I tried to install a qtek official rom by dangaard (you can find it here: http://www.megaupload.com/it/?d=4ELWL078 ) and I solded the problem !

Same problem!
I had same problem but in my case with downgrade from WM6 to ASERG rom, i have downloaded RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe and that fixed my problem.

MY I mate jamin in very big problem

i tried updatin my jamin to wm6 so in this site they told me to download NVID(no vendor) AKU2.2 ROM.
SO I DID IT but it got stuck on 95% n now my screen has stuck on da 3 color screen
now wt 2 do?????

use search button please.

just connect it to computer when on 3 color screen and try again. Its normaly to suck for a while, just wait mabe it will flash it.

a 6.5 ROM for i-mate k-jam is needed!!

hi everyone,
everytime i try to flash a 6.5 rom to my k-jam it freezes on the (red green blue) screen..
and in the RUU it says check your USB cable more like a connection problem but i tried 3 cables all with the same problem..
i thought it might be the wrong ROM but i really dont know..
any help will be appreciated

Kaiser Problem

hi friends...
I gotta bad problem..
I flashed my kaiser with rom ultimate x2 v8 and after 2 or 3 days it doesnt boot up..
I mean...
it boots up till that vista logo... (screen that says "prepairing your device...")
and then it goes blank..
I performed hard reset sevral times but was not useful.
how can I re-flash my kaiser without a sync with computer?!
plz help me out!!

[Q] custom 6.5 for polaris

hey dudes,
I finally managed to put a wm 6.5 rom with manila2D on my Qtek 9100.
Now a friend of mine also wants that stuff on his smartphone.
He has a HTC Polaris (Touch Cruise) which is running wm 6.1 dutch.
I told him it would be in english, but that;s no problem.
I managed to find a rom, but no matter what I do...I can't get in on his phone.
Could someone get me a step by step guide on howto do it?

my problem is I can't get the HARD-SPL thing on the device.
I all the guides it says it will tell you to unplug en replug the usb cable...bit mine doesn't.
It boots the bootloader, and after that a progressbar shows up and gets stuck @ 0% for a while and then error.

whether you try to use Hard SPL V2 .. ?
for the perfect flash HardSPL , you must remove the sim & sdcards then run SDA ApplicationUnlock installed on your PC only then you can run the ROM Update Utility.exe to flash the hard SPL

The SDA Unlocker did it's job...didn't even know I needed this!
HardSDL V2 Worked GREAT!!
My co-worker is really gonna like this.
After downloading the HardSDL in the attachment it was installed in a few seconds.
After that, installing the rom was piece of cake...WORKED LIKE A CHARM!
