Hi guys , can anyone tell me how to upgrade the rom in vista? due to previous experience with vista, my old XDA IIi bricked due to incomplete upgrading.. ( vista blocked )

I try many times to flah my htc under windows vista !
The process still crashing or not respond !
so i flash under windows XP. It's mor safe !
I think this problem is due to the new software of synchronisation include in windows vista.
But i haven't investigate more.
Vista
its the USB driver in Vista. It can be changed. Search my other posts.

I just tried last night to flash my device using my vista laptop and i just couldnt make it work.
The vista update utility is version 2.0x and i need a vista update utility 2.5.x or higher to update my G4 device
So I prefer flashin my device using my old Win XP. Any luck of a vista update utility version 2.5.x or higher??
I also follow the tutorial in modaco and i can tell you that If you have a G3 device using the vista update utility you wont have any problem.

My Uni with Ranjús v7.6 and radio 1.15 suddenly stopped form syncing, I´m using vista so I have installed WMDC 6.1 and before today was working perfect, no new programs installed all normal and now I can´t sync my Uni anymore, I´ve tried searching on this fantastic forum for sollutions but still with the same problem.
Attached an image of what is happening when I try to sync

I've upgraded my XDA II to Ather's Diamond. Unfortunately I am not able to sync. Same with Wm2005 roms. I had to downgrade back to wm2003 to actively use activesync. Help pls.

I downloaded the Windows Mobile 6.5 Rom right from Hikey's Thread. But I'm not really satisfied with it, and I'd like to switch back to Windows Mobile 6.1 again , but I've no Idea how to do that.
I have a Second Computer running Win XP which I'm using for flashs. I also installed Active Sync 4.5..
But I have no idea where to get a Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM for this Mobile Phone. I have Version 01.00.12.332.04 of the Bootloader.
Can anyone help ?

Hi everybody,
i´ve installed MobileSense on my Samsung Omnia i900 (Win Mobile 6.1, Version: i900XGHJ5/AOHJ2). It´s a really cool tool.
But the trouble I have with it is, that the senseconfig.exe doesn´t start. No error message, just no response after clicking.
Does anyone have an idea what to do?
