HTC home plugin

Hi everyone,
Is there anyone tried to configure this plug-in in your PDA - JASJAR if so please let me know how? because I tried it on mine but didn't work any suggestions or alternatives to have similar theme its very nice to have the clock, weather and other additional info displayed on your PDA ...

works only in HTC devices
attached is htc home plugin cab file..
but not installing.. it says can be installed only in HTC devices..
may be some one can alter it to make it work for any universal..

It can install on UNIVERSAL, but doesn't look good for VGA screen....
Until now I can't find for VGA screen

same as you, not working properly, is there anyone has any idea how to get it working JASJAR.

Homeplug is VGA aware...
I've got the homeplug working on my Universal though if you change to QVGA mode the fonts are too big. I think this is because it is VGA aware and so displays bigger fonts on VGA devices. So if you were to run it in your screens native resolution i.e. VGA it looks and works very well... Though you may have problems seeing all you other stuff . I'm fine with VGA though so it doesn't bother me at all...

My Friend Laurentius you have to enlarge the layout not the icons.
I am saying that you have to open the distance between each tab so the icons can fully viewed.
Come on do it, you all know that you can.
IF you complete this work i will have a full touch contribution in my Universal and i will upload As soon as possible.

Because you have the knowledge. I am just a noobie about the development of oem softwares.
If you have time to check it it will be great.
Believe is a excellent programs and it's to bad working only in Real VGA mode.

Just need to change font...
I think you're going about the problem backwards , though that said I don't know if there is an easy way of changing the font either ... Changing the size of the text windows in the app involves a lot more work than changing the font size of the numerals within those same windows.
Though since I'm very happy with Homeplug in full VGA all I can say is good luck, because I think you guys are going to need it!

Well... I noticed that this app runs great on the HTC Blue angel.
The screen of the Blue angel has the same size as the Universal.
It still doesn't run 100% on Uni.

I dont understand why is so problem making HTC Home to work in VGA resolutions. Is ther no one can do that?!?

to answer your question about blueangel, it has a 320x240 screen, lower resolution of that of universal, which is 640x480.
i'm trying to develop a home plugin for our uni, but it takes lot of time.

How did you change the glass to the neo form? I would like to use this on a LS screen but have no idea how to do it. Do I edit the cpr file?

How can I do? Which for WM6 or WM6.1? I see wm6.1 folder in it.

Nevermind. I figured it out. You have to edit bronzeres.dll and the cpr file. I'll post the LS files in the smartphone general section if I ever get it completed. Here's a screen of what I have at the moment.

OK Here's as much as I can do. I have added landscape graphics to the bronzeres.dll file and to the home & windows folders.
The instructions for installing are the same. Select Juno.jpeg as background.
I have not tweaked all panels, just the ones I use. If you want to tweak the other panels. You can copy the settings from the you see in the screenshot.

The Diamond is a VGA device. See here. I know, cos it was my 1st HTC device and I LOVED it!
Anyway, in answer to the OP, I don't think the clocks will work as Sense and TouchFlo are different things, so I reckon the Manila files would (probably) have different names. Other than that, they may be compatible.
I suggest you ask someone who makes clocks for Sense, like dragon_soft (for example), OP of this thread...

Well in that case, I still have to correct you
Most VGA software IS compatible with WVGA, especially theme changes. When I moved from a Touch Diamond to a Touch HD, I kept all the theme mods and just applied them. I'd say 95% of them worked. The only ones that wouldn't work were things that relied on the vertical resolution (in portrait). Obviously, the screen was still 480 pixels wide, just 160 pixels higher! So, if it was still TouchFlo and not Sense, the clock mods would work.
Anyway, I've said my piece

I have correctly and tirelessly used Dinik's taskbar 1.5 as the template, as it worked best with my stock ROM (1.72). THANK YOU MR DINIK!
My problem is getting a cabbed version to work with certificates. I seem unable to get my head around SDK certs and all the various on-line 'help' I can read.
I have attached the complete zipped folder of all the required bmp's and dll's.
A beer for the first over the line with a working cab!! Alec and many others will also be keen to tip in for a frostie!!

I am using ROM 1.72 WWE. I am reasonable sure it would work for all previous stock ROM's but please let us know.
I have tarted up the SD folders and the folders in general for a transparent background....See attached images. Looks much better in Resco Explorer!

Steve, when you have the time, please make the modifications to the cab and compress it (check "compress cab file" option if you're using WinCE Cab Manager), send the cab to @Dave so he cand post it as attachment in the 1st post of this thread.
@Dave, you're free to post any modifications of my taskbar as long as you respect the 'file naming terms' and you upload the files only as forum attachment.
I noticed you changed some stuff on the folder icons (your idea with the storage card icon is good, but the icon itself is unrefined; I made another version of this icon, with the microSD card image aligned in perspective on the folder icon. Sorry I can't make any uploads... I'm mobile).
I also created a cab based on the files you modified and I'll send it to you for testing.

Pretty likely. I tried the other way for Steve and ran Elegancia on my 1.72 Stock 6.5 ROM and other than the start icon it worked a treat!
Optyqus does have a 6.5.x version but he's had a fair bit of trouble with some of the dll's reading through the original site...listed above. Seemed to pretty fiddly for many and unloadable on 6.5...hence this post
Give it a whirl...worst outcome uninstall...Steve's cabs are pretty much bullet-proof and don't leave crap in your shoes ...if you know what I mean!
Let me know how you go...its a beautifully crafted mod!

I didnt do anything to my taskbar resulting from your threads...basically I folloed a different thfead and realized it was from 2008 after I installed a cab file and a dll he called it that was supposed to just add a battery icon colored with percentages. Instead it shrunk everything and removed my icon informing me if I was on vibrate or level of volume. Now not only are the icons small but now there is a blank space where my volume level used to be. How do I fix this problem?

I've found some photos of the movie around, so i create a customization for hd2.
Not so bad, i think.
There are some photos in 800x 480,and two color based home pict : blue and orange.
If you appreciate, a thax is needed.

Same for the Sound files.
