Why dont u give Carmaba's Rose 6.1 ROM a try, it is excellent, very fast and stable.

There is a 6.5, but not sure how it will function as it is in chinese.

yeah,i come form china i use the 6.5 in chinese,is fast but can not read sim card,and otherting is well. u can download it in http://www.rayfile.com/zh-cn/files/747491d9-a363-11de-8167-0014221f469f/

I am a Chinese member. I wanna try this 6.5 ROM. But I don't have a 4pda account. Can anybody upload this ROM to a network disk like windows live or rayfiles. I need your help, Thanks!

I believe some people tried it and said the keyboard was in russian. Their details in the the other thread.

OK, if I flash Stock voda back will it lock the phone?? since it's a voda unlocked

No it will not lock it, but u will get the vodafone annoying (and slow) menuing/sliding system. What ROM did u flash and what problems ur having to be wanting to go back to 6.0?.
Hope someone cooked 6.5 rom from treo 500 with english keyboard layout soon. but at the mean time i am happy with 6.1 my_rose it's been years waiting for this rom. Really thanks whoever make this possible.

It is caramba_sda who made the 6.1 my_rose, he also made the non-english 6.5.

Hi, i see then thank him for making this possible. Hope that he might want to consider cooking a 6.5 with english keyboard layout for T500 anytime soon.

Have been given a HP514 must say I do like the phone and has convinced me to buy a WM phone in the future..
Anyway does anyone know of a newer rom than whats on the HP site or indeed a wm6.5 rom????

update on hp site is NOT WM 6.1, it`s only WM 6 update!! And the WM 6.1 is absolutely new version of windows mobile. The WM 6.1 rom is also in english.
Excuse me for me english, I meant WM 6.5 is now developing.

Actually I don`t now exactly about back up... You better copy all your data to PC.
The most news in WM 6.1 is CHome with its advantages
The rom is good-stable, not worst then WM 6

Well have download the file and update util from site but it will not let me update etc stating the following:
Code 203: Update is Incompatible
This version of the iPAQ update utility is incompatible with your iPAQ. Please obtain the correct updatev and try again.

Your Device: SKU ID: FA908AT#ABB
My phone is as stated HP514 With WM6 ver 2.05.02 English rom(am from UK)
any ideas as to how to sort this prob out???

The project of WM 6.1 is commercial, so you must pay for the FULL rom 10$, BUT if you don`t need Wi-Fi and Bluetooth you can use absolutely working LITE version. There are ONLY Wi-fi and BT non-working!

And THE MOST IMPORTANT NOTICE: Update your device only from 2.05 russian rom!!! Another way your phone will be broken!!!

You are wrong! If you think that in About wrote WM6 - it not mean you have updated WM6! This WM 6.5 has Titanium, new dialogs and menu, and it`s impossible to update WM6 to any other WM.
i need windows 6.5 WWE ROM for ASUS P750 device. Currently i m already using windows 6.5, but it is in thai language cause problem.

I use the "AllmostOfficial 2 Lite" on my Qtek 9000 with 64 MB. It is identical
with XDA Exec, HTC Universal, MDA Pro, ...
It works, but my english is worse than bad, so i look for a German WM 6.5

Download a ROM is WWE and then change to German in the regional settings
tried to download on cotulla's website, but unfortunately the site is down. can anyone please post any alternative link for the said rom? thanks a lot
