Call History Length - General Questions and Answers

HTC touch pro shows only 3 to 4 days call history. Can anybody guide me how to increase Call History length to a month or more days?

download and install SKTools
run it and go to Tune Up!
go to Phone Edition and change Call History Length..

advanced config has this setting too i think..

I have done all this but still problem is not solved. Any one help me.

you still get 3-4 days?

Cleary it's not an issue linked to cooked rom or registry settings. It's a general issue that the call history is limited to maximum 300 on WM 5/6/6.1. I have searched a lot, still no solution found.
I wonder if anyone can show me a way to increase the call history limit?
Thanks a lot!

Video Calling / Dialer Skin Priority?

I am using Alex.v5.WM61.HTC.302.Home.ROM.beta2 with vodaphone UK radio on Orange UK network.
I just cannot get video calling to work. I can get the option to do it but the phone just does a normal call. Both my phone and the receiving phone are in a 3G area.
I have tried the Nadavi skin and about 5 others.
Is it something in this ROM that stops video calling working? Is there a registry hack to enable it?
I have tried advanced config 1.1 and 2.0 to set and unset video dialling enable and phone skins etc.
It seems that the dialler skin cooked into the Alex ROM takes priority over any others I install. Can it be uninstalled? disabled?
Is there a way to change priority order of the installed Dialers?
Thank you.

I have, but no joy.
I am now trying Dutty ROM, it has a working video dialler but I can't seem to re-skin it. Again it seems that a cooked in dialer has priority.

Leaked AT&T ROM vs the newest AT&T FUZE ROM 5.11.502

which one performs the best, im currently running the leaked ROM but i wanted to try out the newest 5.11.502 ROM, but i heard some people dont like it at all even with the Ringtone limit, and is the radio better than the one on the leaked ROM? plz help me out here, i dont wanna start over and configuring everything again. thnx
the ringtone limit is changeable. try browsing around on this forum, I believe I left the specific location of the key change.
apart from that, my experience witht he official rom is that my gps is lighting fast, and my battery life is freaking amazing. I am having issues with the sms and mms not being marked as read when I reply to someone.. i have to manually click through them.. that's my main concern. that and it's somehow incompatible with my most favorite theme... showaco's bbextreme 4.0

And I posted a fix for that in the ROM thread. There's also the cab in there for the no Ringtone Limit. I'll see if I can gather them into this post.
EDIT:
DKNoRingtoneLimit.cab
T-Back SMS Unread Fix.cab
in terms of the no ringtone limit, i figured i just have to go in and do the adjusting myself rather than have a cab since i probably wont uninstall it at all....
also the unread cab.. what did you do exactley? was it a htmlnote.dll change?

That's exactly what I did. I took the htmlnote.dll from the original stock AT&T ROM, and cabbed it up.
Also, as far as the ringtone thing, all you have to do is delete the reg key, and then, no limit
haha, fair enough, I never thought of deleting the actual key....
I'm going to have to back up my stuff this time... before i do the htmlnote change... I had to hard reset last time QQ
hey, i am new to these kind of fixes could you be a little more specific about how to use these things?

Doesn't your carrier already do this for you?
nope... all I c is the monthly bill... and by then its too late.
I'dd like to have such an application to ensure i stay within my purchased bundle.
Take a look at SPB Wireless Monitor. It is a commercial program and will set you back $20, but the investion may save you a lot more than that over the period of your contract.
I have it already installed, however, it only counts Data traffic - no indication as to amount of minutes called or number of sms/mms msgs...
any other solutions?
Total calling minutes can be found in "Software info" page inside "setting" although it'll not be reset monthly. And sms counter... Maybe just try not to send so much of them
I found no way to reset the total calling time.... it might be a possible temporary solution... any1?
please help...
