Mr. Freezing problem. - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I have an VX 6900 (Verizon's HTC Vogue), and I just recently installed the bell rom for Win 6.1. This morning I tried to install HHC home organizer, and now everytime I start up my system freezes. I cannot access my phone to do anything. I can only ever get to the bootloader. Is there a way to flash a rom from the bootloader?

if it just an app that you installed that is causing the problem than a simple hard reset would solve your problem. It will restore your device back to default and the installed app would no longer be on your device.

Problem after rooting

Hi
I'm using a Rogers Nexus S with 2.3.4
Since my phone is rooted I can't install apps from the web market on my computer. When I try to install one it says "This app will be downloaded to your device shortly" but nothing happens on the phone
Any clues ?
Thanks
I have had the same problem with my phone, try first go into setting, click on manage applicatioins, go to market, click clear data, and clear cache. This has worked for me before. Are you using Stock 2.3.4 update or is it a custom rom ?

[Q] sensation crashing during unlocking the screen

Hi there guys!
i just bought a htc sensation a month ago and make its s-off an flashed also a custom rom (senseless rom 1.2)
now my problem its, that the phone is rebooting sometimes, when i try to unlock the device from sleeping.
i push the power button, the phone doesn't react, so i push a second time. after pushing 2nd time, the display splash on and at the next moment off.
2 seconds later, i got the boot-splash of the device.
anyone had this problem already?
EDIT: this problem was coursed also before s-off, therefore i choose this section to disks about! =)
I'm having this problem as well. I have not rooted or s-off'd or anything else. Stock rom, most apps from the market. This started happening the other day when I installed an update to version 2.3.4. This is happening several times a day and is getting extremely annoying!!

Try flashing ARHD 3.6.1 from Mike1986 very stable, good support and fully operational. way better than stock.

Defrag your micro sd card and fix file system errors. Uncheck enable fastboot and turn off your phone then turn it back on again. Lastly, try not to use "kill all" in task manager. Hope it help you guys.
Crashing as well
Same here with crashing.
During unlock, when using GPS. It's now several times a day. The device has become unfit for purpose. Will try the SD card trick.

Cant enter 3G!

Hi, I have a problem with my 3G! It was working until I used a app called "WMLongLife" then when deleted it, my phone was stuck on 1X. I tried installing the app again and try to fix it but it didnt work. Can anyone help me?!

WMlonglife makes a lot of changes to your system, which might not be restored to original state when uninstalled. You might have to hard reset to return back to original. However, I will check the app thread, to see if it has been asked before.
How do you do a hard reset?

Possible to unroot?

I have rooted my phone but not unlocked the bootloader and it seems my phone just slightly more sluggish than before. I noticed nova is now taking a few seconds to reload and it never used to do this. The phone just doesn't seem as responsive as before I rooted. Has anyone else experienced this? Or is it just me being paranoid.

Just flash the ATT RUU. Im using the Rogers one and dont notice this.
yeah just flash the RUU I did have this kind of issue the first time I've rooted the phone maybe I've made a mistake ... anyway after a fresh flashing with my Original "rogers" RUU and rooting it again everything was fine !
Good Luck

Before you RUU, have you tried just doing a reboot? (holding the power button until the phone reboots). I noticed that this phone may get sluggish without rebooting for a while. I'd also install a task manager program to see if any apps are hogging cpu.
Cheers,
Is this any different than turning it off (fastboot off) then back on again?
Different problem but similar topic.
I rooted my phone using the one click utility with no problem.
Today, I installed script manager to run a script for the V6 Supercharger mod. Everything installed fine until the very end, at the end of the installation, I received a message that Script manager has stopped working. I then closed it.
Now I'm trying to run a different script, as su, but I receive a "permission denied" message. I entered su into terminal and get the same message, "permission denied".
This led me to believe that I lost root. I tried running the one click utility again but received an error (I don't remember what it was sorry). EDIT : The error is: "protocol fault <no status>"
EDIT 2: I'm also unable to update the SuperSU binary. I only get "Installation Failed".
What is going on here? Did I just lose root?

Phone crashes when setting up after unlocking it

Hello guys,
I unlocked my phone using the following guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233513
Unlocking was successful. I did a few calls to make sure everything was ok and proceeded to install a custom rom. I tried Jelly bam first. Everything installed right and booted the phone ok. At the setup page it asks me the language as usual, but when I click start the phone says to wait and then it crashes and reboots. I tried another JB rom and did the same thing. I does the same thing with simcard or without.
Any ideas? I am going to try an ICS rom.
This is my first HTC phone. I've always worked on Samsungs
Edit:
Ooops I think I forgot to upgrade firmware. Let's see if that fixes it.
Thanks in advance
