That is a Manila 2D theme, you have Touch Flo 3D
to be really honest with you, i couldnt tell you the difference!!!! haha
what an amateur!!
lol. happens
ok so you have to install M2D 1st, then once you do that the one you want is a theme that you install.
go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2860699&postcount=4764
this is update 20 there is update 21 that you could do also so download the megaupload or the 4shared and you should get files saying 1-8 well start with number 1 then go all the way when done soft reset and you will get M2D installed.
then install your theme you want
I have written a guide on how to install M2D and its themes.
it's in my sig in the GUIDES thread.

Ok so i just got my t mobile wing and i already have the i phone theme but its getting lame so i need some new ones anyone have any?
and if you guys dont already have the i phone theme I posted it on the bottom here
1. I phone theme
2. I contacts
3. new config to make contacts work
4. i phone calculator
5. flash lite
for i contacts to work properly put the i phone theme, the i contact, and the new config in the same folder on your wing preferably on your storage card under program files. then after you have them all in the same folder copy the actualy i contacts program (do all this on your wing) and browse to your windows folder and paste it anywhere in there and it should work perfectly

hey guys i need some help unzipping some folders to put the i-theme on my tmobile wing. can some one plz reply telling me how to solve my problem. thank you

....checks it out ...... juss got my dash
ok to install cabs on your t mobile wing, all you need to do is take the actual rar file/folder (unzipped) and put it in your phone by drag n drop and itll be on your wing as a program to install to find it just use file explorer and locate it where you saved it
If you get a web page for the download that means you extracted all the files on your computer then put them in which is exactly what you DONT want to do, just simply drag the actual rar folder i uploaded onto your wing
and the i phone theme is just a theme it does not by any means do what the i phone actually does it just duplicates it so it looks like it and i would upload the slide 2 unlock but apple will not allow me to do so, so im sorry
and also i should have mentioned this but when after installing the cab file on your phone to get the actual theme to start up just use file explorer and locate the i phone theme where you saved it and open it and the i phone theme will start up and to exit the theme just tap the battery icon on the top right of the screen and ill upload the i phone calculator as well for you guys
and also here is the flashplayer for youtube and extras so have fun
to get working first install the tcmp i uploaded then the plug-in for tcmp which i also downloaded then the flashbundle cab i uploaded.... after that go to you tube and click any video and have fun
ive been trying to install themes to my fuze and am having trouble. i tried an htc home screen one as well as the WM7 and i install the cabs but nothing changes. they also never show up under my today themes. any advice?

It doesn't matter where you put the .cab on your device (I have all of mine to my storage card). Once it is on the device navigate to the .cab and run it, it will install to where ever it belongs.

Instead of using winrar to extract the files from the .cab file, just save the .cab file itself onto your card and run it from your phone. Hopefully this isn't a case of the noob leading the noob, but I think that's how you do it.
Please do a little leg work before posting.

i have same problem
well, i also ever got the same problem
Sometimes, HTCHomeSetting.xml is not made to be put on windows folder but on Manilla gfx folder. And that used to be my problem
try to reinstal manilla2D, and use M2DC to backup and restore your default skin, i hope it's work
Your HTCHomeSetting.xml file is messed up.
Here is the stock XML file. Turn off M2D (untick TouchFLO in your today settings), drop this xml file in your windows folder and try reloading M2d.
I always keep the stock XML for instances like this. Even sometimes the restore doesn't fix itm2d issues.

What kinda device are you installing this on?
How are you using to transfer the files? Activesync? WMDC? Total Commander?
Are you manually applying the theme or using M2D Customizer?

its a tmobile wing/ htc herald I put the files on my sd card throu activesync and then tryed to copy them to the windows folder on my phone memory. Not sure on how to do this at all I have figured out alot of other stuff just not the theme stuff
You shouldn't have to drop the XML on your SD card. Just browse for the windows folder on your device and drop it in there right away. If it doesn't let you drop it in the Win folder, then I would drop it on my SD card and use software called ''Total Commander''. TM is pretty much a file explorer but will let you change system files that would normally error.
Being I dont know all your circumstances, this is what I would do and how I have it setup on my phone. Works flawless as well. I can change themes in seconds.
If that XML file didn't cure your problems then I'm assuming you have issues elsewhere as well.
First I would remove M2D and reinstall it. Once you have that working again, download and install Manilla 2D Customizer...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392
Create a new folder on your storage card and name it ''M2d Themes''. M2D customizer works with a file extension of ''.mtdct'' Some skinners will create there theme's file with this extension for you. It is nothing more then a zip file with the extension renamed.
If the theme's files your trying to install is compressed into zip format, just rename the file from ''.zip'' to ''.m2dct''. Drop the file into your new ''M2D Themes'' folder on your storage card, open up M2D Customizer and browse for the themes ''m2dct'' file you wish to install. Click ''Apply Theme'' and it does all the work for you.
I must have 30 themes in my M2D Themes folder and as I feel the need for a change, I'll load M2D Customizer and switch themes. It's a piece of cake!
Hope this helps.
My icons don't update correctly when I apply a new theme using M2DC...Someone mentioned that there are v1 and v2 themes but I can't for goodness sake distinguish between them. Apparently some hacked versions of M2D will only correctly use v2 themes...Any ideas/suggestions? I have searched all over but can't seem to find a solution other than overwriting the HTCHome...xml file...
Hello, my name is George, and i am from Greece.
HTC Touch Diamond 2 is my first Windows Mobile ( i just get it from expansys), so i have a "stupid" question to make. How we can put applications, software, etc.? Please expain what we have to do, step by step. I thing that a lot of new users have the some questions ( and yes, i am 28 years old and i am using PC for over 14 years).
I have already download the first 10 steps that you suggest in forum. Now?
Give me, if you can, an example of one program. As " we find the program, we download it, exctract...".
Thank you, i am sorry if i tired you, and i am looking forward listen from you.
Sorry again if my question looks stupid. I just want to make any mistake. Thank you!

First of all get a backup program like Sprite Backup, see some help in this thread.
This helps you to get back to the last working level while trying themes, applications and software.
For themes, check this thread, it helps to customize your theme by yourself.
For applications and software, they either come as a Windows .exe file or as a .cab file.
For the .exe files, you start them on your PC and the software/application is installed on your phone through ActiveSync.
For the .cab files, you have to copy them to your phone (prefered to the storage card) and then start them there with the file explorer. The software/application will be installed then.
Hope this helps a little bit.

If it was just a theme, you should be able to go the Setting / Today and select HTC Black.

I have installed to storage card,
When I install it asks where I want to install it to device or storage card I presume I pick device,
Dose it automaticly install to the right folder, or do you have to direct it to the right folder ??
cheers
avtomaticy chooses folder //storage card/program files/"name of the program"
because diamond2 has lots of space, I choose for all must have programs* to install on the device, instead of choosing the memory card
*camera mod upgrade, advanced config. tool ...... stuff U don't want to lose if U replace memory card with another
Hello all! i ve got an Htc tytn2. can u plz tell me in detail how to install cab files and Home 2
Thank you all
Install cab files is quite straightforward. Once you have copied it to your device, you use your file manager to find it. Then you double click to 'open' the file. It will start the installation form then onwards. The same goes for Home2, it also comes as a cab file. Customizing Home2 is something different, but have a look at comunity.pointui.com where you'll find all the answers.
