Pretty straight forward question:
Is there any way to type a backslash on the touch pro other than replying on Fn+Sym?

New Touch Pro, no iGO8 :S

Got a HTC Touch Pro, still too new? No threads here yet...
Can't get iGO8 to work, also not with instructions from the iGO8 thread for the Diamond. It seems Touch Pro again is different from Diamond enough to not make that work? Anyone any ideas?
Did you install it?
Sort out the grammar because your post doesnt make much sense.
I believe the Touch Pro is also know as Raphael in which case there is a full section here

A few Questions before buying the Touch pro

hello everyone ,
i've been reading this forum for a while now despite the fact that i don't own an htc diamond or touch pro...i finally saved enough money to buy either one of them but i'm thinking about the touch pro...but i have some questions:
1- what are the applications made for the diamond which don't work on the touch pro?
2- does the " Gsen" programe works on the touch pro?
and if any of you have any advise before i buy the touch pro please let me know...i'll be thankfull
1- what are the applications made for the diamond which don't work on the touch pro?
Very few of these, one of them was the light saber app... I wish I had it
2- does the " Gsen" programe works on the touch pro?
Yes, works 100%

thanx for the useful replay..
i got another question which confused me a lot:
which is better and what are the differences between "GSen" and "Brins0net_ScreenRotator" ?
which is better and what are the differences between "GSen" and "Brins0net_ScreenRotator" ?
Never even heard of the second one, GSen is the widely accepted and popular one around here, the only one I can guarantee worked on my Raphael.
any other Apps don't works on the diamond but don't work on the touch pro ?!?!
plz help decide what to buy before i spend the money
Just get the Touch Pro, more RAM, physical keyboard, matte finish backing, adequate battery, flash for the camera (which is still poor, but better than without the flash). Its a better phone allround.

None that I've used... I think they're pretty much completely interchangeable, I still can't figure out why that light saber app wouldn't work.

New HTC HD2 user.

I recently upgraded my phone to HTC HD2. My phone before was Samsung Omnia i900. My problem is I'm not liking the keyboards (only 3 keyboards) on the HD2, I keep making many mistakes. On the Omnia I think there were 5 or 6 different keyboards. The keyboard I used the most on the Omnia was, Samsung Phonepad, I found it very easy to use. My question: Is it possible to have this keyboard on the HTC or something similar?
Or if anyone can recommend another keyboard I would be very grateful.
Thx

Hi and welcome to XDA.
There is a phonekeypad available, why not use that? alternativly, look for finger keyboard, Resco keyboard, or even spb keybard. they are good ones.
touchpal is the best, i use it and rarely make a mistake

HTC Touch Pro 2 vs. Motorola Droid Verizon

Hey guys, I am stuck in between which phone to choose. I have the touch pro 1 right now and really like it but don't like how it gets kind of laggy sometimes and I have read that the Touch Pro 2 has the same issues. Anybody that has used both the Touch Pro 2 and the Droid have any suggestions?
I will be using the phone for both business and personal.
I also use email on my phone quite often and have several different accounts to use. I know the Touch Pro 1 does well with this.
I also know that you can put the Android on the Touch Pro 2, but does it run very well yet or is it still pretty buggy?
Overall, I want an internet friendly, email friendly, and call and text friendly phone. I use almost every feature on the Touch Pro 1 and am leaning more towards the Touch Pro 2 right now, but just looking for a little bit of help.
Thanks
HTC all the way
Have a look for your self:

I would choose Rhodium with no doubt
