I have Root but Bluetooth Doesn't work. PLZ Help - G1 Android Development

JFv 1.41 RC33 Lite installed and I can't get my bluetooth to connect to my car. Prior to root it connected fine....Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Moe

Hi Mr. Moe,
Just to let you know that I was able to successfully pair with JF 1.42 RC33. It's weird that the Lite version that just removes system audio would have any effect.

My problem is a little different. I'm using JF1.42RC33 and I can pair with a bluetooth headset but not my laptop. I have a Dell laptop Win XP SP3 using a toshiba bluetooth stack. The error says somthine about failure to detect service. Any ideas?

BlueTooth Handsfree profile ? Is it really possible ?

I have seen various posts regarding this subject. Both on this forum as on various other sites around the globe. Nowhere I have found an easy 'this is how you do it' manual on getting a Handsfree bluetooth profille on a MDA.
I was really happy when I encountered the 'PocketPC Bluetooth Tools' which page indicated the version 1.1 (released in April 2004) added the Handsfree profile.
I installed it without success. Do I need a different BT stack ? I now have the standard MS stack. I am running 1.60 WWE on a dutch MDA.
Any response (positive or negative) is appreciated.
I am trying to get the MDA working with the Parrot CK-3100 carkit.
Excellent carkit, but now only able to use using the Headset profile.
Thanks,
Taco

No you shouldn't ned a different bluetooth stack, as the pocketpc tools do everything automatically. I installed it and have it working successfully on my XDA II with 1.60 WWE.

Could you please indicate WHAT is working successfully. Do you mean you are succesfully operating a 'handsfree profile' carkit ?
If so, do you get an option to select the handsfree profile in the MDA/XDA ?
I only get 'Headset'....
Thanks,
Taco

Oh sorry. I only get the headset side working as well.
I read somewhere that the Parrot BT carkit can be configured to use the BT headset profile (and therefore works with MDAII)
Yes, that's right. I use the Parrot in the car with my 02 XDA II (stock ROM 1.66WWE). Works great and supports the headset profile.
Where can youget this programm?
The Parrot (in this context ) is not a program / software, but hardware. Its a handsfree kit.
You dont need additional software for it to work.
For three days I have been having ck3000.
I use it with BTTools 10.12.
With vito voice to dialer you can mark by means of the voice, but using the mike of the XDAII, not the one of ck3000.
It works fine.
If I install widcomm BT stack, parrot not work nor with MS stack.
Ok guys, I made it quite clear in my first post that I was looking for the Handsfree profile. The headset profile works fine even without Pocket Bluetooth Tools. To be honest, with version 1.1 it does not work all that great actually. So I am planning to uninstall the additional software.
I am still puzzled why the website for PBT indicated support for a Handsfree (=carkit) profile in version 1.1.
I tried contacting the author, but he is not responding unfortunately, nor has the software been updated since april.....
So to be short: there is no-one that has created a (working) handsfree profile on his/her XDA.....

sound/speaker problem 2005

Hi there,
I wanted to update my Sinmerged version of 2003SE to 2005 on my XDA II. After the update I have faced this sound/speaker problem: The defaults sounds and the incoming calls of the machine became too loud, cracky and annoying. I have tried all available 2005 ROMs but the problem persisted. Does anyone know why and propose a solution?
ps: I returned back to 2003SE, but problem is still there
Hi man,
there is a little utility called GB-soft tweak, which makes higher priority for audio. I think you can find on buzzdev.net Did you try it? Maybe it will help.
link found..

I suppose you'll find also version for 2003SE on this site.
Another Audio Problem:
Hi
I just found another problem. When running on windows mobile 2003 I had audio output via the 22 pin connector by connecting pin 19 (car_on#) to gnd via a 10k resistor. Since I flashed my device to Mobile5 yesterday (using wm5_cShekhar_AKU35bR40R24) this does not work any more.
I thought that would be a hardware "switch", but apparently it is software. Is there any fix or a utility which allows to switch all audio output to that connetor?
Regards,
Uwe

Windows 6.1 bluetooth conflict with 2009 Chevy Tahoe Bluetooth System
Hello, I have a 2009 Chevy Tahoe. My Motorola Q9C was working perfect witht eh bluetooth system in the vehicle. A feew weeks later the phone began to act real slow and lock up. I called for help and was told to upgrade to WIndows 6.1 which was supposed to fix the lockign up issues.
Windows 6.1 fixed the locking up issues but now my phone freezes during the first minute of bluetooth connection then it automatically disconnects fromt eh bluetooth and then the phone works fine.
The Motorola Q9C with Windows 6.1 connects to an earpiece bluetooth fine. It does not want to stay connected to the car's bluetooth system after about 60 seconds.
Is there a fix for this problem? I hate putting the earpiece in my ear.

I can't believe that your saying go check a axim site with out showing a link to one. I've searched for months for axim sites and re-read forms that are hell long.
Some one give me some info that would really help out. Other then just conveying the obvious.

Bluetooth fileshare on Hero?

Hello all,
I have pulled the Bluex program from one of the other build an ion version and trying to get it on hero. But any time that I search for devices i get an error "Error in local device (power disabled?)" any one know why that it does that or how it can be fixed. any help would be geratly appreciated.
The Hero Bluetooth drivers are all messed up, that's why it's not working.
sorry 4 OT, but
imho there should be no support for apps, which you have not bought in the market!
uh..
I don't think he's trying to pirate software, I think he just wants bluetooth transfers. I understand his desire as well, as I also like transferring pics and music through bluetooth.
Caid.

Yeh I am not trying to pirate software at all. It was included in one of the other builds that i have downloaded from here before. It did work on the build. I am able to use the bluetooth on the Hero rom for calls and music just that this application don't work. Just was wondering if anyone knew if I can just try and use the bluetooth files from the other build and push into the Hero rom but as I was looking over everything it does not seem to be just a overlay but a different version of the OS not just standard 1.5 with a fancy UI as I had thought. Does anyone know how that I can pull the config files from the 1.5 and put on hero I have had no luck so far.
bluetooth issues
I can get the Hero bluetooth working for stereo but it won't connect for calling.
I'm attempting this with my car's bluetootn (2009 acura tsx)
I can start a call but when someone answers, there's no sound.
Once again, bluetooth stereo works like a charm.
Tried a bluetooth stereo headset with exactly the same result,
Any ideas?

Theres usually different profiles that handle a handsfree connection to your car, and different ones that handle audio, so in this case A2DP for stereo headset. Other then that, I would know nothing else on how to go about fixing it. Unless your up for a complete reflash...

I also have the 09 tsx and been trying to get my magic to transfer my contacts to the car but doesnt work. nk02's ion rom works flawless on cars. the hero roms not so great. maybe we have to wait for the next update from google to get proper contact transferring among other profiles?
I have the same problem
and as it to see, there is no solution so far.
I have the same problem with Hero ROM.
When I want to send file this error appear: error in local device (power disabled?)
And I can not receive any file.
Can anyone solve this problem?
