Hi All
Does anybody knows if there is X-Series pack (3UK) available for Windows Mobile based devices? This is great way of using Skype for free and others. I used to have N95 bu I didn't liked it, and now swapped for HTC Diamond but I can't really find this software....
Many thanks for your help !!!!!!

Well my Moto Q9h (AT&T branded) doesn't come with a lot of the regular Windows Mobile 6 themes, it has some cheesy ones instead.
Anyone feeling generous and care to rip the default WM6 (smartphone) themes for me? I've tried some of the pro-edition ones and they don't seem to work very well.
Thanks in advance.
cect x1 gps windows 5
Hi everybody,
This is my first post so, Hello.
I have some questions,
First of all, i bought an cect x1 it has integrated GPS, windows mobile 5.0 and so on,
i would like to upgrade to wm6 any know how???
any help me please
Thanks everybody for your answers!
Are you sure that this phone has Windows? CECT and other chinese factories often make a firmware that looks like Windows but is NOT Windows.
cect likes making wm phones that look like other (often non wm) phones.
That said, they never release updates, so the answer to your question is an astoundingly depressing no.
this phone is here

This phone has real Windows mobile. I own a Hitune T68, it runs out of the box on WM6 and it is a very good and solid phone.
hello , same question for me : it runs on WM5 , but can I upgrade or flash it to WM 6.* ?
No you cant.
They have a different bootloader and hardware than htc phones.
I dont think that anyone managed to flash a cect so far.
Hi all I have just found my old XDA2 which has been lurking in my desk for a couple of years now with little or no use and I was wondering how I can install a later more stable OS like the newer windows etc.......I have a newer N96 which I have been using which does my phone needs but would like to make use of the XDA2 for business contacts etc and surfing the web.
Where can I download the latest windows os?
Thanks in advance

Assuming it is an XDA II, aka Himalaya, search here for newer ROMs and other goodies, Himalaya sub-forum

Heey..ive been looking for ages through xda developers and many other sites and YES i checked google and a few other search engines but no matter where i search, people say windows mobile 6.0, 6.1, and 6.5 are too big for the ipaq 4100 series but i heard that there had at one time been a windows mobile 5 32 mb rom at some point. i was wondering if anybody had a copy of it? OR, if thats unavailable, could somebody please provide me a cooked wm2003SE rom? im stuck with the first edition
Hi All,
Myself Vadim Segal, looking for a windows mobile phone. I want a best mobile phone which is great in terms of everything. And, I want you people to suggest me which one should I go for.
Thanks in advance!
Vadim Segal
HTC HD2 then you can also run android wp7 etc etc on an awesome device. But WHY would you even want to start on a discontinued OS?
Sent from my HD2 using Board Express
This is the Windows Phone 7 forum, not Windows mobile. They aren't the same OS (although they share some code at a low level, kind of like the way Android and Red Hat Enterprise Linux share some code). Are you asking for suggestions of a WP7 device?
Buy Nokia Lumia 710 or 800

Hello Mr Vadim Segal,
As I have seen above most of the people have suggested you Nokia Lumia 800. I would also suggest you the same. I am using this handset and I think you will also like it.It has many features that most of the users today want in their mobile phone starting from with window support to every advance features like 3g, wifi, GPS etc.. and yes the good battery back up for which Nokia is famous for. Now the version is also available.
You need to be clear that Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7 are 2 different OSes and Lumia 800 is Windows Phone.
