i have a samsung omnia 8g, and i downloded too new skins for the wmp. i put then in the program files, wmp, but the device seems that don't recognize then. i have a wm6.1, portuguese version.
can sameone help me in this?

by the way, i have a program called Mahjongg 3d, wich is suposed to work in every ppc. but after install it and register, it don't work, and i have a message asking me
to send the error to microsoft.
is there any solution?
i had it installed in my other pda - a gsmart with wm6 - and worked always ok.

Hello all,
I purchased my i600 with Windows Mobile 5 standard edition. I had the Arabizer, keyboard, etc where I could read and write Arabic Characters. I learnt about WM6, got in the forum and I'm pleased it is working fine and dandy now. The one million dollar question now is how to I get the Arabic character-set, virtual keyboard, Pocket IE with Arabic support etc (as it was available when I first bought and had the WM5) to work on WM6. Technically, I know I need the Arabizer program, practically, how do I go about it, how do I find it, where can I download ?

i live in dubai and far as i know for a lot of the phones with windows mobile 6 there is no official arabic characters yet. i have the same phone and i know there is none for the upgrade as there is no official wm6 upgrade for our region.
i was hoping you could help me in return. i have read plenty of forums to upgrade my phone but they are all so confusing. is there a way you could find a little bit of time and tell me step by stepp where to go and how to upgrade. i would highly appreciate it. ([email protected])

how do you extract the arabic files from the avalable for download wm5 rom.
if you can extract the arabizer from the wm5 rom you can simply run it on any wm6 rom avalable for the i600

Tried it quickly on my Moto q9h - no go, but it was worth a try! Looks like WM5 and 6 really are that different! And moto's and sammy's as well!

I was quite frustrated when I installed WM6 on my device, and realized that the laxy b*&%# at Samsung did not take the time to include one of the best features of the i600 on their WM6 upgrade.
Now I feel complete.
Before you ask, the "About" screen on my i600 reads:
Windows Mobile 6 Standard
CE OS 5.2.1437 (Build 17944.0.3.1)
I just copied the cab file to my microSD card, and ran the installation.

Doesn't work on i607, can anyone give any suggestion. The cab file installs completely with this message at the end '....was designed for a previous version of windows....'
the screen stays white. can't see any icon or time.

Yeah, it will only work on WM 5 and 6.0. Not tested on 6.1 / 6.5
I think because of the sliding panels etc, it wont work!

it wont be able to be done without a lot of teaking since its a htc device based app.
It depends on what you'd like to do.
and not all themes in the suit fit the OMNIA's resolution... maybe none of them.
I need some help on getting CAB files to work. All of a sudden my HTC TP2 has started telling me I need a new version of .Net Compact. I have downloaded 3.5 to PC but not making any difference. I had a Touch HD, Omnia and i780 before and have never had problems. The CAB files are installing but not running!
Any advice would be helpfull.
