Hi,
I was reading that in order to prevent it from happening you have to set tmail.exe as an exception in the close options.
Being the newbie I am, my question would be, how do i do that?
Is the cause of the problem Pocket plus? Should i just remove it?

Qtek devices do not send SMS twice but SMS requiring unicode cannot contain 160 chars each.
Check the counter at the bottom of your messaging application before sending in order to see how many SMS will be sent.
Avoid unicode chars and you will always get 160 chars per SMS.

2 you can add outlook to the list of exceptions and close other applications like plus want to

or you can just wait untill the msg sendt icon is displayed on the title menu before you close outlook
I am writing a php script that will send SMS through the various provider's email to sms gateways. I have it mostly completed but I have run into one hangup: I cannot seem to define the "from" field.
Messages will appear on my phone like this

600 is the display of name and from says [email protected] if i give data like phone no for the from header it gives [email protected]
how do i change it
How the headers are parsed? What header do I need to manipulate to override the from field?
I have a Problem with sending SMS from my Android.
If i send an SMS less than 160 Chars. all is ok.
If the SMS is longer, only the first part of the SMS arrive...and on my android comes an error that SMS could not be send...
I know that there are Codes like *LONG# *LAST# But they don't work... or why the SMS don't arrives???

I hope any clever programmer knows a way to make a small "dial via dtmf" app. There is no App in android appstore for us "callbackers"

If you use callback it do not works by automatism. You get a call. You get on your phone and you listen to a sound. After that you go to your contactlist to choose a number an send via options/send via DTMF.
hi guys! i have a korean optimus 2x phone (codename SU660). in Korean each sms has length of 80 symbols (may be they use unicode for encoding Korean text). so when i send text messages in English, even when using 3rd party apps like Go SMS or Handcent my sms is limited at 80 symbols. if i compose a longer one, the reciever will only recieve the first 80 symbols of the message. i only can send a 160-symbol message which will cost me double the fee. i tried deleting the stock messaging app by titannium backup but Go SMS still can send sms. so i think there is something in charge of sending messages in android. do u knows what it is? can i modify it or replace with another one from other rom?
