Qualcomm Radio Manuals - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I was searching the web for Qualcomm's developer/user manuals for their radio chipsets, RTR6250, RFR5650, RFR6220, and MSM6275, as well as for MSM72xx cpu. However, I was not able to find anything other than thier 3-4 page marketing document.
I was hoping if someone can help me find the developer/user manuals for the above chipsets.
Thanks.

who have visited this site?
You like it?
I think it will take you "a while" *ahem-never* to gather some momentum for that forum.
there are too many forums for pocketpcs out there already. Too much competition.
since this forum seems to dedicate too much on htc phones. maybe you could dedicate that website on samsungs, SE, ASUS, etc.
might get you somewhere.

I am lost, please help me.

I have been reading the forums for ROMs for my HTC Shift X9501, HP iPaq hw6945, and HTC TyTN II. I am not sure what is phones are compatible with other phones, but I can be on one forum for one of my phones and then I go to link that is listed in that forum and that the linked forum is for a completely different phone. Is there somewhere that has a list of compatible phones? How do you know that it is okay to put on a ROM that is not under a forum for your phone, but in your phone's forum you were linked to the other forum. I am sorry for the confusion. Now you can see how I got so confused. I would really appreciate anyone's input on this subject.
a rom has to be ran on the phone it was designed for sorry.
Start at the wiki, and I think you'll start heading in the right direction. It has lists of the devices and their "siblings".

Very New to Forum and Clueless as to How it all Works please help!?

Thanks for all your amazing help, I'm just desperate to find out the first snippet of how to find threads I have posted and hopefully answers to questions or a question I may have asked?I don't even know where to begin, very confused, please point me in the right direction at least and please send me a link in an email or an email at least because every time I visit the forum which hasn't been that much since fairly new, but have spent considerable hours hunched over the screen trying to figure out things, is there no quicker way, I have a short term memory and like yourselves very littel time to do extensive searches all the time to find something, but I do appreciate the rules aboout not a;ways postimg new threads when the answer one might be looking for may have already been answered. It's just that I am very familiar with all the jargon and tech words so I'm hopeless at performing searches????Help???
Hi michael,
First off, welcome to XDA.
There's a lot of information and it can be quite overwhelming to try and absorb all of it at once.
To get you started:
Identify your device and Cellular service provider in your profile
Look for your device in the forum home page and subscribe to forums or specific threads for your device
Review the "Stickies" that appear at the top of the forums specific to your device
Take time to look at the XDA-Wiki (http://wiki.xda-developers.com); most folks forget about the WIKI
Searching; you can use the Google or vBulletin search systems. IMHO, both the systems need some "tuning up" ... so you'll need to exercise a bit of patience as they can be frustrating to use sometimes.
HTH,
thanks for the help

Htc maple (s522) dual boot android???

hello, new to the boards here, just managed to successfully flash a WIND Mobile HTC Maple to custom ROM, was wondering if there is currently any way to dual boot or install android onto this HTC Maple device?
Have searched the boards but still remain confused about whether or not this is possible. Online tutorials seem to specify this capability on Diamond, Exaclibur, etc, but nothing solidifying a working or available procedure for the HTC MAPLE. Any information to point in the right direction would be appreciated.
Thanks
Please search next time, it was on top of the DEV section
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=712890
Try to contact via PM the devs in the excalibur forums http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=560495 and see if they still pulling this project . Maybe they can give you some tips /advice from where to start .
alright just like to extend my gratitude for having reopened the thread.
and state if need be to have the thread moved please by all means.
the issue im having here is trying to dual boot ANDROID ON AN HTC MAPLE.
the confusing part of this procedure is ive looked everywhere for a suitable distribution specifically designed for the MAPLE but have had no luck.
even looking into WING-LINUX there seems to be no specific file for use with the HTC MAPLE. Exaclibur, vogue, diamond, hd2 i believe were the listed devices among others. but nothing referencing use with the maple. i can not seem to find any alternative methods to accomplish this, and my maple has already been flashed to a cooked rom and unlocked.
any tips leading in the right direction here would be much appreciated
thanks yet again for everyones time

You need to port wing linux to the mapple to do that, you will need a lot Development work to check compatibility and other things. I'm not quite familiar with this...that's why I redirect you to the devs in the excalibur, who are the ones closest to make more funtional this version. Also if you check the site on the chef central forums you can search there and get some "tips" of how you can do it though.
I hope that helps,
Ps I will keep this thread here for a while to see if there's someone who wants to adventure and start this project for the Maple.
Developments?
I'm curious if any developments have emerged for the HTC Maple? I've been playing around with a few other projects but I'd like to see if anyone here has gotten Excalibur working. I checked HTC-Linux.org but not much in terms of providing resources or files.
I'm eager to help get Android on the Maple. it will be a lifesaver for battery life and app development. Any contacts or resources are greatly appreciated.
