How to wake up phone on another button?

Hello,
I have imate 8150 and there is no option in windows to unlock keyboard (on HTC KAISER there is option) and I can wake up phone only on POWER button.
Is there any registry hack in WM6 to unlock keyboard that I can wake up phone with other buttons (on example, when I want to make a call, I would like just start write number.... not first wake up with power button)
thank you very much
in wm6 under settings buttons lock
i can set if only the powerbutton or all buttons wake up the device
I know that, I got kaiser until yesterday, but on my IMATE there is no this tab (under button options).
Maybe is some registry hack (or where to enable this option in registry),

Just want to know how to map buttons.

why not use the Buttons app to remap the buttons? Start->Settings->Buttons.

Click to collapse
It is very limited, only 4 buttons. You can not remap with it roller buttons - up, down, left, right and middle.
You can use Vito ButtonMapper

or
AE Button+

Sorry, I saw to late that you want to map the buttons through registry. I will dig into the registry to find the keys
I've got an XDA Ignito (Touch Diamond), and it only shows one button (voice speed dial) in the buttons app.
When looking in the registry there is only the key: 40C6, which is the Voice Speed dial, but no other keys.
Is it possible to add a key, and map it to a hardware button, maybe the ones above the phone keys, without using other software like AE Button +?
I have already tried with the keys 40C1-10 and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any replies!
Edit: sorry I just noticed this is in the Polaris forum (was searching for mapping buttons and didnt notice!)

[Q] Key code number assignment for phisical buttons

Hello,
If somebody will help me, I'll be a lucky man
My case:
I'm trying to port Android 4.1 to 4.0
Now I have bootable ROM with workable display, touchscreen, gsm.
How to solve issues with wifi, cameras and so on, I know.
But I have one problem which I can not solve...
I have some physical buttons which not work (for example programs like KeycodeChecker dont show any signs when button pressed). I don't ask you how to assign functions for buttons (please, do not try to tell me about keylayout folder).
My question:
Where in android system happens key code number assignment for phisical buttons? For example, if I press button vol+, KeycodeChecker shows me key code number 212, but, if I press button vol-, KeycodeChecker shows nothing...
PS: sorry for my English...
