I'm programming a simple appli for my Diamond and I have some troubles to find the code c# to notify the movements of my phone.
I want to execute a traitment if the phone was shacking for exemple.

Hello everyone. I have seen a lot of people skinning the phone, calculator, WMP, and other things with Windows Mobile.
What I was wondering is if anyone could help me, or point me in the direction of help, on how to do such. Is there any programs available that help with the process? What are the steps to do such customizing? And what is able to be customized?

I would say, the easiest way to do some application pgrogramming, is to use the Visual Studio 2008(Tool) and C#(language). The platform is .Net framework 3.5.
You can download the latest Windows Mobile emulators, and use it along with Visual studio to test and debug your programs. Once you are satisfied with the program, you can build the cab using Visual Studio(which you can install on the real windows mobile device).
Please post specifics if you need more info. I am sure most of the poeple here are willing to help!

Nope. Solely WYSIWYG won't get you anywhere.
But you can use it. For example the CompactFramework.Net (CF.Net) has a WYSIWYG interface, but the underlying functionality you'll have to write yourself.

Hi this isnt too hard to make but why would you want to? whats wrong with the program as it is?
also why do you want to use this software? what senarios?
when phone is in screen off mode, which i think is all this does the phone uses loads more battery than in standby.
tell me what you want the app to do and ill point you in the right direction.
also what exactly are you asking for ? are you making a program that needs to do similar stuff to this? what language are you planning to use?

what the godefroi suggests is exactly what your after, it is a c++ function which allows you to set the phones power state. do a search for that method and you should be able to find some code.
the code godefroi has given comes from c# code so try copy and pasteing the whole thing into google if your using c#
