looking for WM5 Instant Messaging program cab

I used Agile but it was only the trial and no matter what, it wouldn't let me continue. I really liked the IM program from WM5 and I was looking to see if someone had the cab file of it. Thanks
bump
Agile and IM+ are a no go
What IM program from WM5 do you mean? MSN messenger? There are no any built-in IM program for ICQ in WM5 at all.
If you need free icq client try Prelude 0.5.5, it work fine.
Well there is the built in one that gives you the option of using AIM, YAHOO and ICQ and I am mostly interested in the AIM part of it, but I was seeing if there was a cab of that actual built in application that I can load onto wm6

I've just made this cab from a WM5 ROM. I don't have the time to test it right now. Looking forward to your comments...

I get an Installation was unsuccessful error right away.
I've just installed it successfully. No installation errors at all. But when I try to sign-in to MSN Messenger, I get "Sign-in to MSN Messenger Service is not responding. Try again later.". Windows Live Mobile Messenger is able to connect without any problem. So, there must be something missing from the cab. Any ideas???
I'm still looking for a suitable program that runs aol instant messenger. All the other ones I have tried are trials and will not run on my phone anymore. Can anybody upload the WM5 instant messenger app?
give Palringo a shot.

[solved] Text message account cannot be used to send email messages?

I recently upgraded my HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125) from Windows mobile 5 to Windows Mobile 6.1.
Everything is working OK, but I just learned of this... on WM5, I could send an SMS text message to an email address. On Wm6.1, I get the error message "Text Message account cannot be used to send email messages". Is there another way to send SMS messages to an email address? Or, is there a setting somewhere (in the registry) that will allow me to select an email address as a SMS text recipient?
Thanks!
sms is std only a thing you can send to a telefone number
but an network can offer the service to pass on sms's to email address
so i suspect you need to get what ever 3th party program did it on your
wm5 rom and install that and it should work
if the program is not there you cant do anything with the reg as it's not std wm functionality

hmmmm... thanks for the hint. I'm not really sure what program I had under WM5 -- like I said, I have a Cingular 8125 and the WM5 was the "factory" installation.... does that give you any clues?
As far as I know I'm not running any special 3rd-party messaging client -- I assumed that the SMS stuff on my WM5 was the default Windows Mobile Messaging client... the interface on my new Windows Mobile 6.1 looks pretty much the same (except I can't select an email address as a recipient for an SMS message).
thanks

I found my answer... the HTC Diamond ROM that I had downloaded, was missing some registry settings to allow SMS-to-SMTP thru the AT&T phone network.
the answer was already on this site, sorry I didn't find it sooner!

Looking for ArcSoft MMS for Leo

Looking for ArcSoft MMS for Leo
anyone have and can install??
Search for any wvga arcsoft cab, and it should work. Why do you need arcsoft if you have messaging client?
as i dont like the hd2 htc messages interface..
i try to use Tweaks "Disabling HTC Messaging in manila 2.5" to disable it.. after install arcsoft. (maybe i d/l the wrong one?) .
i seen to have some problem sending out mms.. it stuck there totally and found out some bug in arcsoft is i cant select internal storge to attach image from there when i want to see out mms
HTC Messaging is not working with MMS to Blog. The pictures doesn't have a last name (extension), and will not be reconiced as an .jpg, and therefore not show in blog.
I have the Arcsoft package and I can help to convert to Cab for you to try out. However, at first you need to disable HTC Messaging using the tweak.
here you go. Just let me know if the cab is OK.
