How long do most of you go on battery ??
My Fuze with NATF's ROM goes for 2 days easily with medium-heavy data use on a H connection with 15 min auto refresh of 2 email accounts and moderate GPS use with Google Maps.
That's incredible! My old Hermes (8525) didn't make it through the day some times with 1 hr auto email refresh!
Just another happy TP user.
Is TF3D enabled?
Yup - all fully functioning
Just an amazing device...(Or mine is freekishly good...which would be quite nifty)
same here.. it lasts a lot longer than my tilt with its Manilla2d
for me on heavy usage, probably 5 or so hours of internet, games, and calling, i last roughly 12 hours or less... maybe it's the phone adapting to the charge or maybe i screwed up something nasty when i did the original conditioning
My battery life is about the same as my Tilt was. I get about a day's worth of use out of the phone. I am pretty heavy email user (3 accounts, including MS Exchange) and texter. If I don't charge my phone when I go to bed, I'd get an hour or two into the next day and it'd be dead. I was hoping for a better battery life, but at least it's not any worse than the Tilt...
I'm lucky to get a whole day using an hour of wifi and an hour of gps along with about an hour of voice, some texts and some 3G browsing.
I have the touch pro and it lasts about 15 hours with moderate use. 10 calls, 20 text, auto receive email ever 2 hrs, 45 mins to an 1 hr web surfing.
Actually is probably closer to 12-14 hours with moderate use. 20 calls, 30 texts, 45mins to 1 hr of web surfing. auto email receive every 2 hrs.
I use 50 percent battery per day rarely more and i use all of its features thoroughly.
I've gotta say, the GSM version of the touch pro (fuze) has WAY better battery life than the sprint version! What a difference! Returned the sprint one!
would the posters mention how they charged their device upon receiving the unit? the posters with high battery life may be doing something we are not doing resulting in low life
I am around 12 hours during the week with emails calls blueooth active sync. Weekends I get 48 hours easy as.
It's hard to get the most acurate time during the week as I charge the phone over night and never know when it's fully charged and and if it stays fully charged or stops charging.
I'm also using NATF's 1.1 ROM and getting great usage, about 2 days of average use before getting to 20%.
But even before the new ROM the battery was way better than my TyTn. I wanted to run the battery from full charge to dead battery auto-off and I ended watching YouTube videos for about 3 hours straight (to keep the 3G going a full speed). I made it through one full MST3K movie and lots of youtube surfing before it finally died; I got better power usage than my laptop watching DVDs.
Overall I'm a moderate user, and if I forget to charge over night I'm good the next day but will get low batt messages that 2nd night.
Wow, I wonder if there is a quality variance on the batteries that are shipping with the units?
I'm running the stock AT&T ROM still, and will get a 30% drop in battery in 3 hours without even making a phone call. Battery life is worse than with my Tilt. I'm in area that has spotty 3G coverage - it could be some strange interaction while switching between 2G and 3G over and over.
Or maybe there is something NATF is doing in his ROM that is helping battery life?
I'm getting about 15-16 hours with heavy use. I like to text, average at least an hour websurfing on HSDPA, maybe half an hour on WiFi, maybe 2 hours talk time, two e-mail accounts on refresh, and add maybe half an hour to an hour of random organizer/tasks/random crap usage.
If I don't charge at night, I'm pretty much screwed for the next day.
ATT Fuze
ROMeOS 1.4
Batt lasts approx 10hrs. Seems like it could last weeks in standby mode...I'll hit power button on top and come back hours later to find same batt %. During heavy use I can watch the % drop like a lead foot on a V8 throttle.
-No auto sync of emails (I manually dl 4 to 5x's per day)
-Very little GPS use (avg 10mins per day)
-30 mins of phone calls
-40 texts
-1 to 2 hrs web surfing
When I bought the device the battery had approx 40% charge. I ran it down to 10%, then fully charged and ran it down again, then fully charged.
Might try NATF's rom to see if there's an improvement.

Same for me. I can pull it off a charge and 12 hours later it will be 55% with no useage? I am running standard softwae minus bloatware using the trick. Installed Advanced config, Total commander, AE buttons Plus.
I've got a 1.93 rom.use my phone for only calls/sms.with and without tweaks, the battery lasts 24 hours-nothing more-thinking of getting an extended battery
I think that besides the usage, the battery time might also depend on the radio version which control the way your device interact with the service network. There're several radio versions which from: HTC, service providers (At&t, T-mobile...) but it's all compatible with the device. Then would it be possible that we take a look on our radio version and vote on which is the best one for battery life but must adapt all other usages (GPS lock, good signal strength...)?
I switched from an old WinMo 6.5 (Verizon Imagio) to G2x. Absolutely love it, except the battery life (there is backlight bleed too, but not too annoying).
But when I read thread here, seems my battery life is kind of okay?
1) Went to sleep at 1:20am. Phone had Gmail sync, Exchange sync every 15 minutes, News & Weather widget, and ScoreMobile widget. Checked battery at 5:40am, it was down 11%. So roughly 10% battery every 4 hours. This means 40 hours battery life if I leave the phone idle.
2) Today I wanted to drain the battery then give it a full charge. So I factory reset device twice (each time it automatically downloaded all 28 apps I installed before). A 1 minute phone call. About 1 hour web browsing. 10 minute Goolge Maps Navigation. Tweeked settings of my favorate text reader and read a novel for about 2 hours. Then watched YouTube for 30 minutes. Other time, phone was left in my pocket. Battery lasted about 11 hours.
So, is it normal battery life for G2x? With CM7, is it possible I can extend the battery life to 16 hours in scenario 2?
I think it is NOT normal battery life because when reading the novel (screen brightness at 20%), I can see 1% battery drop every 3 minutes!!! The text reader just displays static text until I flip page. My reading speed is about 2 pages/minute.
Compared to my WM 6.5 device, I barely notice any battery drain when using the same text reader app (WM version of course), same book and same reading speed.
Well people have found that the only issue with android really is the damn battery! some live through it, some buy extended batteries (like myself) and others just don't feel it since they are used to charging regularly. When compared to winmo 6.5 android is just doing so much more in the background comparitively even though winmo 6's multitasking is pretty neat. I guess other thigns to consider would be your screen resolution and that damn 14.whatever hsdpa chip you got in there!
Btw if you are using a app killer, i suggest try taking it off and see if you feel any diffrence.. i did.. i just found out the rogue app and said good bye to task killers and my battery was a little bit more promising then since it was on an aggressive kill certain app more earlier.
One thing though if you were to put the phone on a stanby time you will notice that it could really last but when doing something you can as you said practically seen it burn fuel, I guess the advancements in tech/screens/etc are just way beyond todays batteries!
I found my stock 2.1 doing much much MUCH better than CM7 or 6 even though people say Cyanogen was doing much better on some phones in terms of battery.
Can somebody post the battery life of their Vibrator compared to this phone?
I'm so mad, U mad?
I had mine off charger for maybe a total of 15mins cause I was deleting stuffoff the sdcard and battery was full it dropped 3% within 15mins
I had my myt4g with miui rom idle with wifi on for awhile yesterday and it didn't drop a % until I used it but even then it still hardly was draining. This LG drains way to fast!!
The battery life WILL improve over the first few charges. My Nexus S was TERRIBLE when I got it. 8-10 hours max. After 2 weeks or so, I was getting 25-30 hours of moderate usage.
The G2x I got ~ 14 hours of usage right out of the gate. I'm on full charge cycle 3 or 4 now, and I'm already over 19 hours. Hoping I can end up at around 25 hours or so.
The batteries AND the OS need time to 'learn' each other. The batteries need to break in as well with a full COMPLETE charge cycles. IE charge too 100% and use it until it dies, then charge fully. It also helps to leave it on the charger for about 8 hours PAST it hitting 100% the first time for some reason.
Would you guys recommend the zerolemon battery? CAuse i really want better battery life cause with the s4's 1.9ghz quad and 1080p screen and it takes alot of battery.. so i want a much bigger and better one.

Seems to be popular on the forums. Whats eating up your battery? Have you rooted? Custom rom? Tried apps like greenify and ds battery saver? I can easily get two days out of my phone with 3-4 hours of screen on time on the mf9 stock rom rooted.
Don't really know what's eating it. Mostly cause when i use it for regular uses like apps, web surfing, setting exploring (got it yesterday) and gaming.
And i want a hellish better battery, but the thing im afraid of is the safety of it, can it easily damage the phone cause of hot summer days or cold winter days?
And i don't root since i have managed to brick 2 previous phones even though i want a clean simple google edition of the android 4.3, but then again i want a stable one with every function included and some of the including samsung apps like shealth for temp check and the watch app for tv remote controlling.
Get it now!
These are my results on the battery so far
Max Brightness & Gaming = 12 hours
Min Brightness & No gaming = 25 hours 16 min
*Results are On screen time*
The results below are the Samsung 2600Mah battery
Max brightness & gaming = 1-2 hours
Min Brightness and No gaming = 4-6 hours

Another good app to try out is battery doctor.
P.s. you need a couple battery cycles to get best performance from battery
I get around 12 to 16 hrs on stock battery. zerolemon should be here any day now

25 hours on min brightness ?
cool
Most off the time i have around 6-8 hours screentime and i only need to charge every 2 days.(no gaming, auto brightness -2, wifi, bt, gps, mobile, nfc, all on...)
i tried once not to touch the phone for a full day and i had 91% left at the end off the day with about 20 minutes off screentime
Got the battery about 2 weeks ago, still very happy with it, only thing that worked on my nerves so far is to put the phone in recovery mode after turning off the device, i usually end up removing the cover to make sure i touch the buttons
the only thing im afraid of is if a unoriginal battery can damage the phone or in worst case explode (as mentioned in the manual)
Warning for anyone
If you are thinking of buying the White version i would suggest not to because it absorbs color from basically anywhere it can, Mines yellowish..

i guess your right, i wanted to do some testing myself
from 100 to 50 % battery in a little more then 8 hours & 30 minutes with :
-> brightness at 100%, gps, wifi, mobile, bt, nfc, everything toggled to on
-> autosync 8 accounts from wich 3 are email accounts
-> 4 hours music with screen on and volume almost at maximum (done with battery test utility)
-> watch over 3 hours tv (streaming with wifi)
-> trip from 30 minutes with (Waze) navigation (forgot to turn it off in the background, turned it off after an hour i think)
= screentime 8 hours and 50% left
So max brightness probably gives (about) 16 hours off nonstop screentime based on my use.
After a couple off charging cycles with an app called android tuner, it tells me i can have over 14 days on standby, i wonder if this will be correct but i don't feel like testing that

My battery test was done while playing Dead Trigger for 8 hours at a time and then letting the device cool down for around 30 mins and then playing it again for around 4 more hours (Dead trigger results )
Wow, i had just the battery doctor in the background and the battery fell from 94 to 79% overnight... darn theese quadcores theese days are hungry! Almost even worse than the HOX i used to have.. and with what this phone can it's almost like i want to keep the battery killer than going back to iphone 5 which never acted like such of a battery hog

Many people helped us to give specific informations about this battery. I got mine (7500mah) last week and I wanted to say THX and share my first-cycle-stats experiences.
Phoenix ROM with Ktoonez kernel
- Mainly 2G Data
- Flightmode at night for 5 hours
- Rebooted ~8 times for flashing stuff and doing a full Backup (~1 1/2 hours totally)
- Greenify and some security apps.
- 4 mail accounts, Whatsapp
- 30 mins of navigation
- Screen mainly on auto
- Bluetooth transfers, pictures, etc....
Max screen time could be 12 hours, because the battery resisted to die and stuck at 3% :silly:
Pro
- more easy holding smartphone now
- battery life
- soundoutput better when laying on the backside
- good grip, less slippery
- now also available in europe (amazon.co.uk)
- fair price
Cons
- a bit too thick
- signal problems from time to time esp. when holding in your hand on places with poor reception

In regards to your cons, it's about 2 mm thicker than the 5200 extendeds out there. I think the bigger drawback is the weight.
I haven't noticed any signal problems myself, but I think you would be more sensitive to it if you already have signal problems. I don't live in threshold areas so I don't feel this drawback, but a lot of people have mentioned it.
Zerolemon 7500mah Battery Review
Hey, guys! I did a review on my Youtube channel of this battery. There's a link in my signature if you want to check it out Got some crazy battery life with it!
Woo got mine. First cycle 1day6hrs. Screen time 8 hrs. Runing goldeneye.
I got the 7500 as well. I've been using it for about 5 days now and the most i've gotten is 7 hours screen time. My main battery drainage is audio_out 2. I went from 96% to 30% in a day. I might've either gotten a defective battery or my usage is crazy. I still don't know what my audio_out2 is.
I find my Z3's battery life not that impressive as critically acclaimed. A lot of people have posted their battery estimated time to be two days or more but for me, even after cycling the battery from 100% to 1% twice I still only get 1 day and a couple of hours more. For sure I can make it through one day with probably a lot left but I'm sure not a heavy user. Dumb ways to die 2, crossy road and wordament are the only games I play and they aren't even that big of games. I don't play them much either, maximum of 2 hours combined in a day. It says the screen takes up most of the battery consumption a but I usually just leave it on WhatsApp and do nothing. HOW??? AND WHY???

Do you really care about some dumb estimations? What is wrong with you all?! My Z3 works for ~2.5 days with like 2 h+ a day of PowerAmp at max volume , dropping to ~30 %... WiFi off (also not available for location, check that in wifi settings), location on precise settings (no wifi obviously), screen time 1-2 h. Projection is just a projection, why would you care? It just takes the average load, so if you turn it on after an hour of playing a game it will show a lower value...
exactly... want it to live a little longer? use the stamina mode.. (helps with screen off and some screen on battery life depending on how u configure stamina mode..)
all in all a very nice phone with a good battery capacity..
im starting to think 3000mAh should be the minimum/standard in every smartphone that comes after the Z3... u can seriously feel the difference compared to older phones with less battery capacity..
u need to learn how to use the phone without keeping an eye on the battery percentage.. im starting to get shocked when i hit 70-60% by the time im off to bed..
yes at days i get down to less than 10% but without keeping an eye on the battery percentage its living longer...
stamina mode on 24/7 , 3g/4g on 24/7 (no wifi) , auto sync on, whatsapp, instagram, twitter and 2 bbms sucking my battery but nothing this beast cant handle
by the end of the day im at whatever percent ... and sot between 2-7 hours ..
(not bragging but i guess i wont need bbs/amplify/greenify/bmw... with how the stock rom is working)
Well gaming will ramp up the CPU clocks/voltage so lower SOT would be expected.

Not sure why he doesn't realize this.... Screen on for 2 hours playing a game is going to use your battery.
I'm having the same issue as OP. Been through around 5 charge cycles so far. I don't play any games at all. Main usage is for WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, a bit of camera use and general web browsing. It's usually an even split between being on WiFi and 3G through the day.
I've had the phone for a week and my battery usually lasts around 28 hours (30 max) with around 4 hours of SOT, (with stamina enabled from 50% down) which I'm kinda disappointed by, given how everyone I see on forums posts great stats of 7-8 hours SOT. (Beats the crap out of what my old Nexus 5 was giving me, but still - bought the phone because I didn't want to think about my battery anymore)
Don't know if I just have a defective battery or I'm doing something wrong, but does anyone have any tips, or anything in particular that you do to ensure your battery lasts two days?
I read that the Facebook app is a bit of a hog, but I don't see any flags under the battery usage page, or any warnings in the section that monitors which apps are power hungry. Going to uninstall it and see if it makes a difference. That apart, my screen brightness is usually set at around 35% (with adaptive brightness on) Any other suggestions would be very welcome
Thanks!
Been getting about 14 to 16 hrs of battery life and about 4 hrs of SOT for the week. Main usage is web surfing, emails, whatsapp, YouTube and music streaming, no gaming.
Two days ago, I enabled the boost+ app and optimize most apps that don't need to run at full resolution. The screen on time seems to have improved a lot. Got 5hr 56mins of SOT with 14hr 46mins battery life.
This is much better than my HTC 10 after the nougat update. SOT approx 4hrs. I have boost+ running too.
Will monitor for a few more days to see if it is a one off performance.

Pretty good life!! mine gets about 3.5 hrs SOT, and about 13 hour standby, I also have boost+ on too. Curious as to what your brightness setting is, mine about 50% with adaptive on. I am rather heavier on my battery and network, so it doesnt surprise me that you're getting better life. (mine was better when I was on holiday with a better network connection).
About 45% level with adaptive on too. I think setting boost+ to run almost every app at HD resolution, excluding photo apps, helps a lot.
Good network is key too.
I am very satisfied with battery life when on WiFi 4,5-5 hours SOT), but when on LTE I get around 3 hours of SOT. I just enabled Boost+ to see if it improves battery life at all. I don't want to enable though FullHD for apps.
Do you use location services in high accuracy mode?
Here is mine, Charged up to 96% used until now.
Battery had become a bit crazy lately after updates to tons of apps. Just updated the firmware yesterday. Will monitor again.
Hi guys, hope everyone is doing good.
I wanted to ask that from past 2-3 days I'm facing very quick battery drain on u ultra. I'm hardly getting 2.5 hrs of Sot. Phone is heating too much.
Before this I was seeing around 4 hrs+ SOT that too with 1hr+ of casual gaming. I don't know what is wrong but I'm worried. My device is heating that's all what I'm able to notice. Any suggestions are most welcome. Except this, love the device.
Thank you.
It happened to me after updates of some apps.
The only way I solved it was to shutdown the phone completely. Wait for about a minute before powering up again.
Thinking about getting the U Ultra. Do you feel that the battery life is good enough?

Actually depends on what your daily usage looks like. If I'm on holiday or the whole day at home, one charge easily lasts for 2-3 days. But at university with every sync /bt/WiFi etc enabled and 50% brightness I get about 8h with high amount of screen on time (50-80%)

I usually use the phone for 2-4 hours per day but more hours during travel.
How much does the battery drain during standby? For instance, I you leave the phone in standby during the night, how many percent does the battery decrease?
Mine loses about 4% overnight (8 hours) which I think is exceptionally good!
For me it highly depends on which ROM and which apps I have installed. Recently the battery drain was about 1%/hour (150 apps, all syncing etc on), but right now after cleaning up a bit and nstalling greenify I'm back at ~3-6% per night.
I can get the black U Ultra for €291.99 here: https://www.eglobalcentral.eu/htc-u-ultra-64gb-4g-dual-sim-sim-free-unlocked-black.html
Tested the phone yesterday at a local shop here in Sweden, felt great in the hand and I really like the design. However, the battery life may be a deal breaker. Most of the phones I have used during the last 2 years has droppped 1-3 percent during night and I usually got 6 hours SOT over 24 hours. The last phone I used with weak battery life was Nexus 6, it gave med 3-4 hours SOT during 24h and that was slightly annoying. I get the impression that U Ultra is comparable to Nexus 6 in the battery department. :-/
That's actually a very accurate comparison. I replaced my Nexus 6 with the HTC Ultra and I'm getting almost identical SOT and battery life.

I get about 24 hours of mixed usage, which means I need to charge it up every morning, but I never seem to be able to get more that 4 hours SOT. Also, the rapid charger is slower than the Nexus 6. It takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes for a full charge.
I installed and configured kernel Adiutor/CPU Kernel state #on_demand and turned off #core_4. Now my battery/system working 2 whole days before charging!
Guys if i go to optimize apps and turn it on, Wen I leave it turns off again. Is this normal? I restart the phone and I already did a factory reset because the phone was updated alot the first time I use it, but it's the same. I'm getting about 3-4 hours off sot depending on the use. Maybe less. What do you guys think?
i got 5hrs and a few mins with the first charge (light use, browsing, installing apps, tweakin settings and 35mins spotify)
