No matter what i do, I can't get my start menu to change with my theme in TF3D. If i turn off TF3D it changes with my theme, but otherwise, it's dark grey with black font (which is virtually impossible to read, and a green highlighter. i need the highlight to be blue and the font to be white. Every mod progam I've tried doesn't change the start menu in TF3D. Please Help.
By memory
OK, by memory its in the Registry:
[HKLM\Software\HTC\Enlargemenu]
Then:
ManilaCustomGrid - Relates to the lines between the sections
ManilaCustomHlDown - Relates to the bottom highlight colour
ManilaCustomHlUp - Relates to the top highlight colour
ManulaCustomPattern - Relates to the background
The first three above are dWords and are hex in the form of bbggrr. The fourth relates to a file which is tiled for the background of the start menu.
The values may not be exactly as above buy I think if you look in the registry you'll find them along these lines.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the blue colour used for highlighting (e.g. the today screen items, start menu selection etc)?
Call me fussy but it clashes with my black and orange!
use wisbar advance and edit the *.skin
or see:

Does anyone know the reg edits to adjust the htc enlarged start menu "text highlight color" not the highlight that happens around the text but the actual text color? I want to the text to change to black with a white highlight to match the diamond skin for touchflo 2d.
I'm not completely sure, but if i'm not mistaken it is defined in the tsk file you're using.
Yah I just tried to edit the TSK file but some weird things are happening I can't seem to fix the text color maybe i'm dong something wrong. i kinda think it could be that I need to change a setting in the HTC Enlarged menus. For the highlight I was able to change the background color via adding a binary titled ManiliaCustomHldown, and up in the Enlarge Menu directory. I just don't know what title is the text highlight color.
Does anyone know how to change the color of the text of my task/title bar and soft key bar (top and bottom bars) I have UI tweaker but I don't see a setting in there, so I was wondering if there is a different program that will handle this? I'd like to change the color of the word start, the battery icon, etc as well as the soft key texts. I would love to change the color to match lilrico's(from ppcgeeks) full cactus green theme.
you can change the font color in the softkey bar with ui tweaker, I have not had any luck getting the taskbar font color changed with any software, probably a reg edit or hex code somewhere (didn't try too hard though). The icons are a totally different ballgame, all of the images are in .dll files that have to be changed manually using a resource editor
do you know how to do it?
Hello.
is there a way to change the font colors in the TouchFlo 3D GUI?
the problem is that now when i use background in all tabs the background is also in the "all programs" tab when i press the start button.
the fonts there are black and in all other tabs it's white.
i can't use a background that matches both things.
is there a way to change the fonts there to white also?
is there a REG change to do this?
also, i found a cab here tha changes the green color when you press on something, to blue.
is there a way to do it with a REG change also?
Thank you
I have been recently messing around with the color accents on my phone. So far I have managed to make a nice Black, Red, Silver theme. However I am stuck with one key I cannot seem to find.
I have successfully managed to change almost all the text to red using these keys:
HKLM\ControlPanel\themes\1\
ProgressBarBackground
TextNeutralColor80
TextNeutralColor75
TextNeutralColor60
TextNeutralColor30
TextNeutralColor20
TextNeutralColor
ContrastColor
However I cannot seem to find the White text that displays on Tiles nor can I find the color that represents the actualy TILE in the call log or textmessaging. I know they are two separate registry settings because using an OLD advanced config I can easily change the tile color to say Dark Blue however the actual text color in the call log and text message area will still be the normal blue. Which is because the old one did not know where the other keys were. So does anyone know of the entire full list of Registry Keys for editing text colors?
Would be cool to see screen shots of your customizations

Have you looked into the XAML files in \windows. There's a thread where someone mentioned these files are related to the themes/accents. The first 2 digits refer to the theme 00 & 01. The second 2 digits refers to the accent color. They somehow work with the registry values.
For more info, see this post.
Ok excellent. I will poke around in that particular file and see what changes what.
Being on an HTC I can easily overwrite in the windows directory so this should not be a problem.
As to a screen shot I will take a look at the new build of WDM and see if I can screenshot it.

Yes, WPDM lets you take screenshots. You must have the multitasking/dehydrate hack enabled though so it'll stay connected with TouchXperience running in the background when you change screens.
Unfortunately the values for what I am looking for is not in those XAML files. Apparently editing those only changes how apps read the accent colors and does not actually change the colors I am looking for.
The only colors I have left to change is one single value somewhere but I have done searches of the registry and through those Xaml files and they seem to not be there. :-/ It looks great right now, but would blend completely if I could just fix these last few.
I attached a few screens. You can see exactly where I still have a silver/grey text even though it should be red.

If I'm not mistaken some of the fonts are semi transparent, white with the black bg showing through. The first 2 digits are the alpha transparency value. I believe FF is solid where 00 is fully transparent. Another thought, is they look to be the same color of the button icon bar. Either way, looks nice.
