Can some one please help me with my radio

Hi all, can some one please help me with my radio update i get a error 114 radio update error every time.
now i cant send it back beause it has been al ready opend.
The whole thing works fine but after a reset my Camera doesnt work and the volume side buttons doesnt work either (make the thing freeze. stop working)
i am really, really, really out of ideas, almost tryed everything.
The strange thing is that it can update all other things (rom and ext. rom)
Is there a different way of doing this or is my sweet MDA Compact just totaly broken and un-fixable?

Upgrading to the newest ROM but which one ?

I got Jam and running 1.12.00 WWE ROM and 1.12.10 Radio 1.12.128 ExtROM . Last weeks i have tried to install BRS and i have succeeded but after a while i decided to original shipped ROM ( mentioned above ). Right after all these changings, my device started to fail getting SMS messages ( but sending without any problem ), i think while these tunings something went wrong or something and it caused this problem ( certainly its not about my SIM card or of its settings ). So here is my question : i wanna upgrade my device to the newest shipped ROM as well as the newest Radio vers. , in order to fulfill my aim what files ( i mean which ROM and Radio version and other needed apps etc. ) do i have to have and may i get them from xda ftp ? And my last request from you dear Masters, can this upgrade manage to solve my SMS problem ? This situation is getting very important for me day by day, its itching my brain every moment.

i dont think your sms problem is caused by the ROM. i did use 1.12, and had no sms problem like yours. now im using 1.13 rom and radio (but no ext rom), which i believe are the latest for magician at the moment. find them on the FTP. thanks

O2 Settings
Hi,
I've just upgraded to the O2 Big Storage Rom (WWE_O2_1.12.00.zip from the FTP), I was expecting (probably naiively) to have all the O2 settings etc to be installed as well.
There's no O2 customisation whatsoever and I don't even have the option for MMS in my messaging Folder.
Is there any way to just get the latest O2 Mini Rom?
Or to at least get the settings - i'm assuming that they all come from the extended rom? If so, how should I go about installing that?
I have searched and there's so much going on, it all gets a bit daunting.

Prophet crash on incoming call after Dopod upgrade

Hi, all
I recently upgraded to the latest DOPOD ROM on my prophet, and ever since, randomly, an incoming call (playing an MP3 on main memory) will cause the device to loop the MP3 sound over the first millisecond (causing an RRRRRRR sound) and the device locks up. I have to (soft) reset the device, choose a different MP3 and it's ok for a few calls.
Anybody had this problem? How did you solve it? Do we know when the next ROM is coming out?

had the same problem also, tried searching around but couldnt get a solution.
changed the rom to the imate rom and its working fine now

Hi,
I suspect there is some sort of SIM Card version compatibility problem with some ROMs.
Make sure you are using the latest SIM card version for your carrier. In my case at first I was using a Version 1.0 SIM card and had lots of problems, but ever since I upgraded my SIM card to Version 3.5 all phone and messaging problems dissapeared.
Just a suggestion.

Answering Problems - Any advice?

I'm using Faria's WWE WM6 and when I try to answer a call with either the send key or the left button (above the send key), it will not answer and send the call to voicemail. This happens 60% of the time I try to answer a call.
I was originally using the standard T-Mo USA Radio ROM and decided to switch to the UK 2.19.11 to see if it made a difference. It hasn't. Anyone else seen this issue?

i am currently running faria's ROM and plan to switch to xplore 2.0 and i also had the standard t-mobile radio ROM. But i am not having any issues with my G3 MDA. Did this happen after you changed radio ROMS or always?

It is happening with both ROMs.

Did this happen before u upgraded to WM6 or only after? if after try reflashing the ROM, or flashing a different one, like Xplore 2.0. I am not to good with all this stuff (im still a noob ), so wait till other people post to actually take action. Just trying to help.

I flashed the radio rom after the wm6 rom was installed.

Does GPRS work for you on WM6?

Ok, simple really, answer the poll and if GPRS DOES work for you post your EXACT radio version and network provider and IE connection settings as a reply below

hmm everything is clear now .
People with radio 4.1 have working GPRS (edge too? )
and with 4.0 not.
How do I upgrade my radio? Should I flash a rom with radio and then come back to WM6 or somehow separately?

Just flash a rom with radio after flashing WM6.

and then go back to WM6..? could you please point me to rom with right radio? and my device (SPV C600) is rather Qtek 8300 or 8310?

I'll package radio version 4.1.13.28_02.61.01 with the update in about an hour.

You can actually just upgrade the radio ROM, it wont affect your WM6 OS

You can find it in this forum, search the Tornado thread, few pages back, I just searched for it yesterday. I am only afraid the link to the radio is down due to inactivity. Well, downloading a 30-40MB file which he packed wouldn't take that long right?

I'm posting an updated ROM with it which should address the Audio issues people are experiencing, also some cabs for T9, Comm manager, Task manager and clear storage. So it IS worth flashing the entire ROM again.

After update GPRS works ;]

my mobile operator is Orange Romania, radio version is 4.1.xx,and my gprs connection it's working.

I have the updated WM6 ROM with the updated Radio. Both GPRS and Edge is working. But sometimes it can not connect to GRPS and I have to restart all the radio components.

Works with:
Radio 4.1.13.28_02.61.01
KPN netherlands.

can someone help me set up my gprs settings for o2. i dont know what my access points are etc.
