Hi, I have 2 home phones for which I am in need of new AC adapters. One is a Panasonic KX-TG2216 and on the bottom of the base it says it needs Power Source 6V 500mA and under that it says Use Only with Panasonic AC Adaptor PQLV19. I'm wondering if you know where I might get this.
The other phone is a Vtech model LS5145 and I'm looking for a Switching Power Supply Model S008CU0700080 Input 117V 60 Hz 250 mA
Output 7.0 V 800mA
I wonder if you might know where I can get this also? Thank you for your help!
Laura
I think Batteries Plus have all sorts of adapters..
where are you from?
I live in traverse city michigan but get to the detroit area or grand rapids area or lansing area weekly. Do they have stores here in Michigan?
I live in israel.. i wouldn't know
search in google for them and see where they're located. they have branches all over the states.

Hey guys, I live in the U.S. and am extremely dissappointed by the Euro socket charger for the HTC desire. I need a United States wall socket for it, and cant find it online. Does anybody know where I can find one? Thanks in advance.-rs0cal
As it's USB, you can just buy a standard international adapter with various socket/plug fittings

mine came with a US socket, don't know if it's because mine is from Telstra (US 3G version). i'd go to BestBuy or TMobile as well; they sell aftermarket USB wall power units.
And I am from EU, and mine came with US plug
Funny things happen..
Yeah i guess so. Its a A8181 from Mexico I think, since the box is all written in spanish.
Will do, I'll check out my local T-mobile for socket options. Thanks all'.
I got a charger with the option to change plug. Which is nice.
Sent from my HTC Desire
Mine also comes with the USB plug adaptor and two slot ons, one for the UK/Ireland and one for US.
Strange your one not coming with one.
i got a telstra one also and it only came with the aussie plug for the ac adapter
as in it was in 3 pieces, some sort of universal usb adapter brick, a usb cable, and the plugin piece that slides onto the usb adapter brick, and the sline in plug piece is aussie only, came with nothing else.
so i gotta charge it via computer usb for now til i buy something else...
Well there's always the chance that those of us on here who don't travel may be up to just posting over the part that is needed....3-4 quid postage is nothing after all for helping out a fellow XDA member.
Hello,
I want to know what is RG59 cable and why it is used for.
Can anyone help me in this regard ??
Thanks
Stephen Colbert
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RG-59
RG59 cable is normally used for Free to Air and Cable TV cabling. A variant is RG6, which is normally used for cabling to a Satellite dish. The two cables have different shielding properties.
RG59 shields better around the lower-Mhz spectrum (making it better for DVB-T transmissions), while RG6 shields better in the Ghz spectrum (which is around what DVB-S operates in).
Alright, I have searched and searched for a solution to this issue.
What started this all off is that I purchased a Pioneer AppRadio 2 that I wanted to connect my Verizon Galaxy S3 too. I plugged everything in correctly got a connection from the appradio app and with a nice crystal clear display. Then in 7 seconds it all went down hill from there. So after a lot of troubleshooting here is essentially what it does. Once plugged in after a few seconds the display comes up and if I have music going it starts playing, then in 7(est) seconds I lose signal dor a second and then it comes back for another 7 seconds, etc... I have tested a ton of things and still get the same results...
Devices: AppRadio2, Yamaha Reciever (This decodes HDMI before sending it on) and a Samsung DLP Television
HDMI Cables: Generic HDMI, High end Monoprice and a Mid Level Monoprice HDMI
USB: 3 different cables
Power Adapters: Car 1.0A and 2,0A; Home: 1.0A Verzon power adapter and attached to PC
Phones: I replaced my Galaxy S3 with another thinking it was the phone itself (Verizon warranty)
MHL Adapter: I purchased two Samsung MHL GS3 MHL adapters from amazon (two different vendors), EPL-3FHUBEG, (I had links in here but the damn forum won't let me leave em in).
I have been on the phone with Samsung for hours and verizon. The Samsung tier 2 support tech has opened a ticket with research or something and am currently waiting to be contacted in some way.
Has anyone else experienced similar? Any solutions?
Thank You...
At this point I can only charge my Samsung galaxy s3 with pieonerr android cable that I had installed at BestBuy they also installed my appradio 2. Not exactly sure what to do next

First off to really get the most out of the unit got should arlibitator in the play store it will blow your mind.
That being said there has been a lot of talk on the forums that the mhl adapter sold on amazon are in fact fakes. I can confirm this add I purchased one from amazon abs after having issues with 4g cutting out I got one directly from Samsung, that don't even feel the same. So your charging problem could be from using a bad mhl.
On a side note the pioneer charger only puts out about 500ma which isn't enough to charge the battery normally. Most ppl installed a 3.1v charger from amazon.
Charging works but everything else dont. Head unit dosent see phone when plugged in. Want to order the parts I need asap. Not sure what to order

Hi everyone ...
I have a new car on order, delivery in a few months, and have taken the option of Multimedia screens for the second row passengers.
These are just the screens though with analog inputs (composite, RCA, whilte-red-yellow, .... what's in a name ).
Image here : http://goo.gl/90Nr1o
I am looking for two devices to use in the car to watch movies (and if possible play games) to entertain the kids on long trips (5 & 8 years of age).
Power requirements need to be quite low though since these have to run from the 12V cigarette lighter.
My first idea was to run a pair of Raspberry Pi's with RaspBMC and Retropie on them, add a BT and a Wifi adapter, put a small router with an HDD in the trunk and configure them with a PS3 wireless controller. It does require quite some fiddling, setup and troubleshooting in order to get all of this working though ...
Secondly I was thinking of an Ouya + XMBC on it ..; but this doesn't have an analog output ...
Next in line I turn myself to Android devices which could prove great candidates for my intended use, but I am completely lost in the vast amount of devices available ... especially the ones which could tick all the boxes.
All advice and experiences would be greatly appreciated !

CS918 has this output function.
I'd say you'd want an Android Stick rather than Box though as I doubt a 12V would be able to power a full box.

Hi Hammer ...
Problem with sticks is that most rely solely on HDMI output. AV-Out is mostly not an option on most.
Furthermore, these run the same chipsets as their box counterpart and consome probably only marginally less power.
The CS968 comes with a 5V 3A adapter --> Max 15W
The MK902 with a 5V 2.5 adapter --> Max 12.5 W
I do not know how much power can be drawn from a single 12V socket, but I found an adapter which could deliver 2 X 12W (2 x 2.4A), which - I think - could be sufficient to power 2 boxes ? Normally the power adapter should be sided marginally larger than the max power drain ... I hope
http://www.scosche.com/ipad-usb-car-charger-two-port
I also found an even more powerful adapter capable of delivering 6A ...
And it seems like a higher power version with 8A is under way

Hello everyone. I'm currently in the United States. I'm going to Europe in a few weeks and I need a couple Quick Charge 3.0 compatible EU wall plugs Type C for my LG G5. I found some on eBay but they will not arrive in time. Can anyone suggest some good brands that are available from Amazon, Target or Best Buy? I use USB 3.0 Type A to Type C cables for charging.
Can't you just use a travel plug adaptor? Also, if you go to UK it'll be different from mainland Europe (in fact I'm pretty sure there are variations all over the European Union...)

EU uses standard sockets and plugs compatible with each other (Type C, E, F, J, K L, all compatible with plug type C, which is used by most of the devices requiring 2A or less, seen in the main post). UK uses type G, only compatible with itself. However, some G sockets are manufactured in a way that a standard C plug (or E/F) can be plugged in too, albeit without grounding.
But indeed the best option is a travel adapter.

Nice one for clearing that up - as a UK resident I obviously don't want anything to do with Europe (just kidding - aghast at current vote to leave EU).
Why do you not buy a Traveladapter was adapt US Plug to Europe Plug?
