but now i think, how do i find my smses where are they on my mobile phone?
Can i find them?

Can anyone tell it me please... my phones are all stuck/brickets...
and now the only phone what wants to turn on, is one without screen because its broken hahaha!

I think it's cemail.vol or pim.vol on the ain storage (might be hidden)!

The file is \cemail.vol
is there any way how to decode the .vol files?
i lost some numbers with cracking my screen never thought i could find it back in an file on my phone (stupid me)
so anyone ever programmed an decoder?

I need help. My phone is unlocked and prepaid[cingular] so it always makes this noise when i send a message or recieve a message despite the fact that all sounds to the phone are silenced. I tried to silence all notifications and yet it still made the noise. I want to delete the tone all together and maybe put a blank file there that makes no noise. I found the tone its called notify and I tried to erase it but its locked aka the delete button is greyed out. I tried to install a windows unlocker on my phone but a pop up kept comming up saying that the file is not valid/permitted and it could not be downloaded[windows wouldn't allow it]. If you have any methods or solutions for me to solve this problem respond ASAP!!!

Have you tried going to Start->Settings->Personal->Sounds & Notifications, clicking on the Notifications tab and changing your preferences there?

I have change this notify.wma file to the one that has the diamond and it works....
First make a sound in wma yours or a blank noised ok?
Then sync your mda to activesync full sync (I mean say yes to all the windows of outlook, uncheck all options of sinced files, contacts, favorites etc etc) to make an association.
Open in activesync "explore" then open the windows folder and drag your file notify to overwrite the other one default file, it works! jeje.
Im from mexico and the noise makes me get mad.

You can remove the setting for sending and reciving mesages with snaps advance configutation or SK Tools
Other option is to change the settings by sounds & messages in the settings part personal

and do whatever you want to your registry and files .. wherever they may be

WHY I cant do that with my total commander? with some files... like delete some ringtone. even overwrite.
My device Qtek 9100 was updated to Black Diamond 3.1. It was working great, until once tel. hang up when works, after restart it hangs up and after that never start.I throw that f tel somewhere on shelves for some time, but now i really need contacts and sms from it
Is any way to start tel in safe mode and safe contacts?
I did full reset. Device has started succesfully.
Now im trying to find something to recover after format.

There could leave some fragments from contact files *.vcf, *.arc after format. That is what i want to get.
I shattered my screen. I am thinking of having my phone replaced, but i need to get some very important texts and number off the phone. ones that I don't have saved elsewhere. Is there a way to retrieve those from the phone using file explorer? What about my call logs?

Look for a software called "mymobiler" and access your phone through the PC.
i cannot seem to get mymobiler to recognize and connect to my phone. am i missing something?
hey guys i havent had any problems with this phone until today, and it seems like these have both started happening at the same time..
but when i turn wifi on, it connects and then a few seconds later disconnects. and when i try to go to the marketplace it says server unavailable, please try again.
also i sometimes i cannot find webpages on the browser. any ideas whats up with this?

when i was messing with mine, i messed up and changed the wrong thing with out noticing it before replacing it and now i can not access the marketplace or use wifi..

thanks for replying, but i got it to work.. i just went in to recovery mode and cleared the cache and its working great again..
Could someone please help me if its possible to pull all media and texts off. The digi is busted so bad all that works is the back button. Its not unlocked or bumped. It hasnt even had dev menu opened so im not even sure if i can even adb to it....
If you know how, help this noob out please!!!

Have you tried connecting your phone to LGPCSuite on the pc to transfer media? Your carrier online account should have your text messages. Log into your account to retrieve your messages.
