Is there a way to get my IP address when I have a data connection? (Touch HD)
Would I be correct in assuming my device wont have it's own IP? Is it therefore not possible to play multiplayer games over the data connection?
Thanks.
**EDIT** If I browse here - http://www.ip-adress.com/
It gives me an IP. Is that specific to me?
1. you get a specific IP. (in the scr below it's an IP from my router.. but when it's a cellular data connection you get an ip from your provider)
2. use ConnState to check your IP. it's a today plugin which shows you network status on all current connections. it's VERY light.
3. you CAN play multiplayer games.

Ok, thanks!!
On Linux, BSD, OSX (and hence ofc also Android) you can set the MAC-address via software configuration of the interfaces
Therefor normal.
Introducing Sift Security Enforcer and Firewall. This new app protects you from apps that leak your personal data over the internet.

As noted in the media, many major apps including Santander Mexico, Match.com and Pizza Hut fail to protect your data:

Sift runs in the background as a local VPN and sits between an app and the internet connection, scanning TLS handshakes to make sure everything is correct.
No root required, simply run the app in the background and receive alerts when your connection is being attacked.
Take a look and let me know what you think!

Sitting at school, no data plan or Wi-Fi and desire to text with your mates? Try WiFON!
It may sound hard to believe but it really works without the Internet. You can chat, share statuses, send files, ...
With internet connectivity it will be a bit faster but you still have the option to write to someone in your neighbourhood who only has our app but no Internet at all.
Take a look at http://www.wifon.sk or download the app from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.croconaut.ratemebuddy
It works great also on dormitories, cut off cottages or on a concert with heavy signal drops.

Hi,
I am simply not able to go-ahead with password and username I entered to login on my University Network (Screenshot attahced). It uses PEAP and MSCHAPV2.
A few steps I tried on my own-
1. Contacted google support. Useless.
2. Reset Network Settings. Didn't help.
3. Reset Phone. Didn't help.
I am able to connect to the same wifi from other devices, no problem there. Is anyone else facing this issue??

A lot of Enterprise wifi have PMF enabled. Pixels and other pure Android devices will not connect if that is so. Most other Android devices will connect. Protected Management Frame.
Hi,
I am trying to connect to a vpn clearly in my list of VPN and am unable to use the always on VPN feature.
I am using an old phone as a ip webcam hence the old version of android but it should still work.
Have tried, forgetting and reconnecting to vpn, a different vpn app restarting, shutting down and letting it sit for a while and pray it works when it turn on but no luck.
Using a sony z3 compact with android 6.0.1 on it, no sim card inserted just wifi.
see image of VPN clearly in the list but not comming up when trying to select it for always on.
