SMS/Call counter - HTC Vox

Hi, is there any SMS and call counters for HTC S710/Vox? I got a plane that include 90free sms and 120min free calling. Would be great if it was possible to monitor when i had used it.
I hope there is a freeware, but it not i can pay.

I would be really interested in this too. Since i'm a student and don't have the money to go over my minutes

I have found this site:
http://www.pocketkai.net/asp/en/details.aspx?472
In this page navigate to:
Smartphone w/o Touchscr. > Call, SMS, MMS Counter
This is the only soft. i found so far... looks pretty good though.

As far as SMS counter goes, this is a very good one, with a lot of stats:
http://www.efficasoft.com/smscounter/index_sp.html

just a small free programm....
Just a small single programm that shows you the minutes for each months... of outgoing calls.
This should be possible for the WM 6.0?!
Thanks.

Block incoming calls

Hi, I don't know if a post has been put up, but I don’t know what to search for. I was wondering if any knew of any software on windows mobile 5 which will enable me to block specific incoming calls from my phonebook or calls as private or unknown numbers and sms/text messages.
Need something like this badly
MDA pro
This may be what you are after
I use Inesoft Address Book and it offers the functionality you require, except for text messages. The large contact photos and other enhancements are also very good.
THANKS mosgeo
Many Thanks mosgeo for you promt reply. Am downloading the cab version from the site. is this a full version?
Yes, completely non-crippled for 14 days. The bit you are looking for is the 'Incoming calls' menu item on the Today tray (bottom right, silhouette icon).
Incidentally, I found the Today ABC plugin took up too much room (and possibly slowed things down, not sure) and removed it via the options.
RE: CALL FILTERINGSOFTWARE
Hi Digigem download from here- it's free and work for me (all credits go to Murphy):

Bloggy
i am in a simular situation however is it possible to rather than block text messages from a particular contact i would rather not be notified, i.e. Dave sends me a text message and it notifies me as normal however if psyco girl sends me a message it wont flash up on my screen for all to see......

Application to intercept certain callers/SMS senders?

I had a package a couple of years ago on my MDA (and perhaps on my Kaiser) that would do this - you could select a contact and then intercept calls and SMS and take an action without it hitting your notifications (e.g. reject the call, send an SMS back to the caller automatically and reject, answer an SMS or ditch it silently, etc)
I can't find it - and don't remember what it was called...... but I'm reasonably sure I found it here on XDA....
Does anyone remember/know what it was/is, and will it run on the Leo?
Thanks in advance.
That would be an awesome app. I have long dreamed of such a thing.
there is a program that worked on my tp2 that should work on hd2 as well called "magicall"
This one was free.... I'm quite certain it was here somewhere, but I can't find it.

Free phone calls and SMS

Apologies if this has been mentioned before (a search of forums revealed nothing), but I stumbled across a neat app a couple of weeks ago, It's called Viber, http://www.viber.com/
I use the HTC Sensation and the wife uses an iPhone 4, with this app we can make free phone calls and send free text messages, Have been using it for the last 2 weeks and the call quality is very good.
Really neat part is , it links up with your existing contacts list and shows all your contacts that also use viber.
While it does run in the background I have not noticed any extra battery use at all.
Give it a go.
interesting app.
I like the part about the free international calls... too bad it's only limited to other viber users as well as for domestic calls/text.
still, if you have friends/family out of the country, this would be a good way to communicate.
for domestic calls/text though, I think Google Voice is a better choice since it doesn't require other people to be on the same program.
still, pretty cool app.

Free Alternative to DeskSMS

DeskSMS was exactly what I was looking for, but the free trial is over and they want year fees.. Is there a free alternative to DeskSMS that will do the same thing?
Hello you can use "mightytext"
have fun ;-)
easy android sms or mighty text although i would use with caution at least with desksms we knew it was coming from cwm (trustworthy imo) texts are sensitive data you dont want any app/site reading and sending them
I use Google Voice which among other things allows you to SMS from a desktop browser.
Google Voice, as far as I know, don't let you text and receive text from your personal mobile number right? That's what I liked about DeskSMS. A one time price would've been okay but to pay yearly? That's not good..
It does. Your carrier has to support integration with GV, iirc. With sprint, GV offered to make my actual phone number the GV number. So when I text from the browser it is from my mobile number.

HTC EVO4G • Shooter 5.5
Underworld SBC • SmartassV2
What about Go SMS ? It's a alternative to decksms and can send SMS to other people . And there are alot of themes for this app .
I really like handcent and its free as well.
Subscriber to DeskSMS
When i first found the app i thought it was such an amazing thing. I purchased my subscription well before my initial free period was over. I tell you I do not regret it at all. Texts from people are automatically backed up in my Gmail account. If i need to find a text someone sent i just log into Gmail and search in:chats for the name or number or a snippet of what i'm looking for. The features, convenience, and how well it's built is worth the investment.
It depends on which feature you really need...to text from my pc I use AirDroid that is free and does the work gratly!

It is $5 per year man... That is peanuts for the service you are getting. Regarding free apps to do that, i'm with the other ppl, nothing is free. They have to be getting something from you. Always my mentality when downloading free apps.
Something to think about.
I'm in the same boat, I have a few more days of DeskSMS access and I like the dark skin as well, but I actually dislike DeskSMS mainly because I'm not seeing both sides of the conversation sync in GMail (only received syncs) and I still need to figure out how to make synced SMS's in GMail sync as read. Although I do like the quick access button that doesn't force you to open the application in a dedicated tab, but if you do want a dedicated tab the functionality is there I just never see myself using it. Then again the quick access button is very noticeably laggy.
I also use GVoice for business use and I prefer keeping my carrier's phone number for personal use. Problem is I can't use my carrier's phone number to text from GVoice unless I have GVoice take over my carrier's phone number.
Are there any work arounds I've overlooked? I basically use DeskSMS to text from my PC without having to pickup my phone constantly.

I also use Airdroid sometimes, and it is good for messaging and for uploading smaller files to my phone. I tried using other apps (I forgot which ones unfortunately) to text from my Mac but I still find DeskSMS to be the best. It sends messages right to my Trillian (or AIM but it lags) and it typically works. Sometimes it stops and you gotta do a little tinkering to figure out why it isn't working, but for the most part I haven't found anything that beats it (especially when I'm at work and don't want my boss to see me texting).
I paid for the year, I didn't even realize it was a trial at first but I happily paid the small fee to keep using it. I've only paid for a few apps in my lifetime (Call Control and Titanium Backup basically), but it does a lot of good things for me and it was worth it.

I am the dev for an SMS/MMS forwarding app called PhoneLeash. Its not free but its a one-time fee. PhoneLeash forwards to email or to a second phone (via SMS). It forwards both incoming and outgoing texts so you get a nice threaded view in GMail (for instance). And you can reply via email (or the second phone). It has some other phone locating features as well. Perhaps y'all will take a look!
PVS
Had to switch also
I kept having problems since I paid for it.
I kept getting the error: {"multicast_id":6603055600577454525,"success":0,"failure":1,"canonical_ids":0,"results":[{"error":"InvalidRegistration"}]}
So I chalk it up to, I paid money money for something useless. I still have 263 days left. So, for 102 days I have had no one help me with the issue so I left DeskSMS. I doubt I will get a refund either.
Alternative to DeskSMS: MooMle

Hey why don't you try MooMle, it's a brand new app, it's free and it does work!!!
I downloaded it yesterday and I'm loving it!

A capable dialer / contacts app needed!! Please help!

Hello,
I am desperately looking for a dialer / contacts app, which has the following features:
- Display the Names of contacts, TOGETHER with their phone numbers.
- Provide a detailed call summary (time of outgoing calls / incoming calls, all calls, SMS counter!)
- Has the ability to allow calls and SMS messages ONLY for certain contacts, so that only a few people can disturb me while I'm sleeping.
I don't care if this will be a paid or a free app.
I'm new to Android, my previous phone had WM 6.1 and I'm really DESPERATE how poor the contacts and dialer of Android are!!! I don't need a 4.3" screen to see the names of my contacts as HUGE banners, but to see as much info as possible on the screen (like the phone numbers of my contacts!!) Nokia had this in 1998 !!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot for all your replies and I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong thread.
i don't know if this will do all that your asking but ex dialer is really good, my friend likes go dialer/contacts. i hope this helps.
Hello,
thank you VERY MUCH for your reply!! I'll give your recommendation a try!!
Meanwhile, I have tested several application and Rocket Dialer is the closest one to my expectations.
I'm using just the contacts app. For dialing/keypad, the original app is OK, I found out that it has at
least counters for outgoing and incoming calls, no SMS counter though.
For blocking calls, I've downloaded Call Blocker, which has a whitelist, this is all I needed. I can put
2 numbers on the white list and disable all other incoming calls.
Thanks again!
Hello,
I've checked this ex Dialer and it's really potatic... Again ONLY names of the contacts and no option to change this.
There is also another program - DW Contacts. This is really a high-end app with a lot of options and highly customizable. I didn't find a way to display all the letters on one side of the screen for faster index search, as Rocket Dialer has it.
So, for me, Rocket Dialer is OK.
Try "Dialer One" by Yermek Zhumagulov. It displays "contacts, TOGETHER with their phone numbers", the way you want. You can have different colors for the contact and the phone nos. Seleting two stand-out colors, I found it very easy to read them against the dark background (selectable). Pretty cool and very fast. I'd been trying many dialers and uninstalled all of them after spending half-an-hour with this one.
Thanks a lot! I have looked at the screenshots on google play. It would do, but I prefer Rocket Dialer. It has many amazing options, together with the black list Thanks anyway! Now I'm searching for a task manager to be able to list all running processes and kill them
