Control Raphael from Linux Desktop?

I use WinXP at work, and Linux(Ubuntu) at home.
At work with WinXP, I have software from SOTI called Pocket Controller which allows me to control my Touch Pro from the WinXP desktop.
Is there such an application available with Linux, so that I can control my Touch Pro from the Linux(Ubuntu) desktop? Eg. Running remote desktop viewer on Linux, and connecting to the Touch Pro assigned IP (169.254.2.1)

give that a try a vnc server for your windows mobile device.

Virtual Box vs VMWare Workstation - Which is fastest for linux?

Which is the fastest to run Linux with? I know virtual box has OpenGL acceleration. But I am talking here in terms of disk performance and cpu performance to compile a android ROM
I use virtual box and I love it. Usb works properly.

[Q] Running Intel x86 image in VM

Has anyone ever been able to run the intel's image they use for the Android emulator on Vmware or Virtualbox? The x86 acceleration makes the emulator a lot faster, but for sophisticated networking the emulator pales in comparison to vmware or vbox.
I tried downloading the image and making an iso out of it, but it wouldn't boot. I'm wondering if there might be some specific settings in the Android Emulator provided by Google to allow it to boot and then run the system image.
And yes, I've heard of android-x86 project. Their android 4.2.2 iso is extremely buggy. The 4.0 one is nice but I need 4.2.2
Any help would be extremely helpful!

Android emulator like "Bluestacks" on my windows tablet to run DSLR Controller

Android emulator like "Bluestacks" on my windows tablet to run DSLR Controller
I have a Nextbook Flexx 11.6 Windows tablet that I would like to use with the DSLR Controller app. I understand that I may be able to either install the android OS on to the windows tablet or install an "android emulator" software (created for gamers to run android games on their PC's) that will enable me to run the android-based DSLR Controller App. The latter choice seems a lot easier, but will it work with this app?
