I'd like to change some of the keys around, namely the shortcut ones. Any programs out there?
i would be interested in that too.
AE Button Plus (http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus.php) worked well for me. Just go to File - Add button, press the key on your keyboard, and wham, it should let you change it to whatever you want. That was the case with my key-to-the-left-of-space bar, anyway.
in da_g's clean fuze rom xcsdm added in all shortcut button mappings into settings>personal>buttons. maybe you can ask him if he can make a cab or something.

Does that do keys as well? Like the CAPS key? Because I am interested in that as well. I want to make my CAPS key a TAB key. And I want to turn the shortcut buttons in CTRL and ALT keys and the like.

I've been trying to figure this out for a while...
I have a Touch Pro (Verizon), and the home screen has a red bar at the bottom with two application links. On mine, those links are "Phone" and "Camera." I'm trying to figure out how to change "Camera" to something I use more often, such as "Calendar."
Does anyone know where these settings are located?

This link or similar may help.. found the program helpful while looking for some other stuff.. and it will allow you to change both hotkeys (Touch HD)..
Thanks. I've been using that tool to tweak some settings, but it doesn't seem to control this one...

I find the default WM6.5 volume adjuster very ugly, and the HTC one too slow to use. Is there a simple volume app available which doesn't cover the whole screen, and only on side/middle? Kind of like HTC VolumeControl in the Audio Manager and Youtube app.
I'm using WM6.5 on an HTC ELFin.
Could give this a whirl http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4409560&postcount=963 it uses the old volume control.

It's almost what I'm looking for, just that it's stepping is too high. 20% or so. I'm looking for something better.
EDIT: I found this: http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/System-Utilities/Enhancements/Volume-Ctrl-9249.shtml, it's perfect, but is there a way to bring it up and control it with the hardware volume buttons? On the page it says that the program will associate itself with the hardware slider, but it isnt working.
Bumping. There has to be a way!
I want to map the Windows/Home key on my Touch Pro2 to open HTC All Programs tab (not the customizable Programs Tab) when single clicked, and the default WM6.5 Start Menu when long press.

I'm able to do so thanks to a wonderful button/qwerty remapper found on XDA (for TP2 only), the only problem is I don't know the path for HTC's All Programs.
I rarely ask questions here, 'cause 99% of them has been already asked and answered, but this time I really can't find the solution.
In advance, thanks for your help guys
EDIT: Also, could someone please extract the bk_Program_List.qtc file from \HTC\Assets\Images\programlauncher\ ? I think that if I'll play around with it I could actually change the background of the All Programs Tab.
Moved as not software release.
So I am having a little problem when trying to take screenshots. I wanted to takea screenshot of my quadrant score since i got a 3525, but whenever I try taking one, this is what I get as the picture:

This happens with both shootme, and drocap2. Any ideas?
The G2x has a built-in screenshot capability; you don't need an app (or to be rooted) in order to use it. Just press the "home" button and the power button together, and you'll get a .png in /sdcard/CapturedImages.
