[today plugin]HTC Homeplug (cab included)

A nice today plugin for most HTC's, tested on my wizard and universal.
Saw it in the Artemis and Athena threads, so I made it running on my Wizard.
How to modify it to your needs:

Also included the newer version: 1.6

Serves the same purpose as O2 Plus....right?

i was able to get the audio booster working and somewhat get the media hub working (via flash only), but the audio booster seems pointless on such a little speaker.

I don't know O2 plus, so I can't tell.
It creates icon's on the today screen, so if that is what O2 plus does, then your answer is yes.

I had this Homeplugin on my Herald - but is there a way to modify the showed icon. I don´t use the battery,etc but would like to put own shortcuts. Is tehre a way????
Iuse iLauncher at the moment. But i would prefer a smaller software.

Slow PIE Scrolling? Similar to Dual?

Hey guys. Does the TC suffer from the same slow scrolling in PIE as does the Dual?

If so, there are a couple of reg hacks to improve scrolling....do they help?
I also saw this thread, which basically improves the PIE engine for smoother scrolling. Has anybody applied it to their TC?

Why waste your time on PIE if it already comes with Opera pre-installed
Let me make this clear about all the "problems"you read about the TC. It is not worse than any other WM device in actual use We were expecting a super device from it that is why there are so many complaints here

victoradje, did you read the specs of the MSM7200 chipset? That's a fact that it should be a better device.

Yep the same as the Kaiser was at the beginning
We will have to wait until we can start cooking to see ROMs with this fix applied, in the meantime I attach a cab from the Kaiser threads which I have installed and works perfectly.

Hey christonge. Great job. Thank you very much. This cab makes my Polaris (German Orbit2) now perfect. What a shame to HTC for this bug.

I second this!! Helps for better scrolling on my Orbit2 even in email

does it work with Opera too? or its only a IE fix?
it would be appreciated if a .cab can resolve this scroll issue... please find a .cab with the driver into please eheh

This problem affects more than just a few phones.

It's a problem with the Qualcomm MSM7200 and MSM7500 chipsets, HTC never wrote a proper driver for video draw, we actually have the power to do much more with our phones. (I have a Titan)
Check out the video and sign the petition, HTC has been dancing around this problem for too long.

there's cubes available, perhaps you should search for Poorlyduck's Vista Cube. His has a full install and an "already installed" installer that goes on top of existing cubes.

Diamond2 Rotating... like an LG Arena?

Having recently purchased an HTC Diamond2 and having tried "ChangeScreen", GSen", I've noticed my D2 isn't capable of rotating TouchFlo's 'Opening Screens' (like, "Programs" or "Contacts") and I haven't - even - been able to rotate my "Album" pictures.
As I've seen on LG Aren's (no publicity intended!) all icons rotates (beautifully, I thought) whenever the phone itself was rotated.
Is there a way to get it done in this version of TouchFlo?

To have TF3D rotating correct, you need another ROM.
Check out the cooked ROM's for Topaz. There are first ROM's out that support TF3D rotating and applications rotating.

You don't need another rom, it's a simply registry tweak which has already been posted on this forum. Use the search function!

The tweaks were not working on my TD2, that's why I proposed a new ROM. Seems depending on TF3D version the registry tweak is working or not.

It's works, but not correctly. I suppose the ROM will work better.

Qik CAB for Omnia II. Could this be made to run on HD2?

So i've contacted Qik to ask when the programme will be available for the HD2. They basically said they don't know. I asked if the CAB from the Samsung Omnia II would work (because it runs Win Mo 6.5) and they sent me the CAB to test it. It installs but doesn't work.
Would anyone be able to get this to work?

is this program to do with recording live video on the internet? if it is i installed a version of this on my diamond 2, surely it would work on hd2 too. i got it from freeware pocket pc you should google it maybe try it out.

will this cab also work for the touch pro b/c I have a different version thats lower then this one??

Yes it is. No ther version works with the HD2......yet. I thought someone on this forum would be able to get the cab ( in the top post) to work with the HD2.

hopefully, the US release of HD2 makes them step up their game and make it work!

I sent them a messege on the twitter account hopefully they respond, they seem to be working with sprint for a evo 4g version already, hopefully hd2 isnt' skipped.
