When the Dream is charging the battery percentage is shown on the locked screen, would it be possible to change the screen to display battery percentage when not attached? Where would I need to look to get started on this transition?
I recommend you pick up power manager from the marketplace for now. I will be creating a widget that you can put on your desktop in the future

I am using the stock AT&T ROM. The battery indicator under Settings/Power just shows a green bar with remaining battery life, but no percentage. Is this how it's supposed to be? Is there a way to get the percentage of battery remaining to show as well?
yo can have percentage of battery on taskbar. Look at this tread:

Thanks for the response. I'm not looking for new icons, though - I just wondered if there was a way to get information about battery percentage (like a registry edit). Do other people's Fuzes show percentage battery remaining under the power setting? I checked my husband's, and his, like mine, does not give this information.
have you found a way into this?
i'm looking for the same thing -- instead of the icon an actual % like 10% etc... but i can't find anything for it.
edit:
the url that Majkeljj posted is correct.
i found a post with this picture

and the solution was that mod.
i will try it and see
I was less concerned about changing what it says on the taskbar (I don't want it to look crowded with so much stuff), but hoping I could find a way for it to show the percentage when you actually go into the settings menu. When I go into the settings, there is no percentage there - just the visual representation of how much battery life is left. I still haven't found the answer to this.
Anyone find out if it is possible to add this? I just noticed this tonight. I'm on a custom rom (Da-G 2.02) but I do not have a battery level percentage under Start>Settings>System>Power.
Hi,
I've been using Home Screen ++ (http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_batterystatus_xda_neo_wm5_im_cs.htm) to monitor my battery drain in real-time, but it seems a bit heavy to use just for this one functionality. Does anyone know of a lighter application which can do this, ideally one which puts an icon (or text) in the top menu bar?
Hey everyone just messing with the sk4g though the current rom that im using has the full battery meter % though I wanted to make it without it, I look into the Framework-res.apk and in the drawable-hdpi saw the png for all the battery %'s though i deleted them and replaced them with the stock samsung battery images but after i adb pushed it to my phone the whole battery meter in the notfication bar disapeared, is there a way to enable the regular battery meter?
The stock battery images don't have an accurate battery, they only have images for 20,40,60,80,and 100% battery, rather than each percentage. you can get rid of the percentage by finding a battery icon set that doesn't have a percentage, but does have the full 100 images. The reason your meter disappeared is cause it didn't have images for the percentage you were at.
One of my biggest pet peeves and first world problems, is the battery icon or % or anything battery related whatsoever showing itself on my phone. I do not want to see the battery life displayed anywhere ever on my phone, it's too stressful and pisses me off seeing it. I know when my battery low, and will check it in the Settings menu myself like once a day, or see it when charging.
How do I get rid of the battery icon and % from showing in the lockscreen status bar ? I use the Xposed Wanam app to hide the battery icon on the home screen status bar. But for some reason I still see it on the lockscreen.
I have the T-Mobile Note 5, running an International Marshmallow ROM. I am using the latest official T-Mobile firmware, bootlloader, and modem. But previous Lollipop ROM's I was always able to hide any battery stuff on the lockscreen.
Any suggestions ?
Lockscreen showing the damn ugly and stressing me battery icon WHICH I NEVER WANT TO SEE EVER ON MY PHONE
Homescreen, without the battery icon, which is perfect.
Settings > Battery > Display Battery Percentage. Not sure you can disable the battery entirely tho.

Click to collapse
Did that, and it get only gets rid of it on the main homescreens, not the lockscreen.
Just because I turn off the Battery Percentage on the Status Bar doesn't mean that I don't want to see it via Always On Display. Seems silly not to create a separate option for it under AOD Options.
Anyone notice this or find a way to get past it?
The AOD battery symbol does look pretty lame without the percentage next to it.
I couldn't find any way to bypass it either.
Have they fixed this yet. Great question op
