[Q] Changing Default Background Color

So I have been looking all over and cannot find an answer anywhere. i dont know if it can be done even! but god i hope so.
I am trying to change the default windows background color. not the task bar, not the background... Here is an example:

see the blue gradient in the background? how do i change that!?
Also, what about the blue lines on the today screen? can i make those Orange somehow? here is another example:
the blue lines that extend from the dates or the blue line that divides the menu programs from the recent programs.

Download and install RC Mod. Spend some time playing with its features. It does exactly what your looking for and then some.

look for Settings+, it's an active thread in the Dev&Hack section. you can change the general colors of the device using the app.
Not sure about the background tho.

UI tweaker does it all i believe, just needs patience as not too use friendly on some devices

Use one of the tools listed above. They work for the diamond too.

Both work Excellent!
Settings+ is a little simpler to use, but RC Mod can give me a more precise color.

Fully Transparent TOP & BOTTOM BAR WM6.5

I think about this many times but i cant found the answer you know i like the glossy transparent that has in the begining this builds for 6.5... but noup maybe is hardcoded in SYS

I don't think it's hardcoded, i guess it is in one of the dll's..

well.. we need to open al the dlls in the windows folder, maybe a key reg too cause the original themes for designers has this glossy non fully transparent it has color! well transparent is a color too isnt it... I will try to see on the dlls tonite.

i dont think its transparentable, but the bottom bar is skinnable.

hoping anybody can point me in the right direction for a cab of some sort to install the original sense 2.5 slider icons as some custom roms change them. for the record i did search i just keep coming up with custom icons never the original.

The basic icons, no tab ereader no tab docs!

Are you sure the icons are switched or are you just talking about the orderof the tabs themselves? You do know you can change the order of your tabs right? If that is the issue.

no i wanted the icons themselves. i know u can change the order of the icons through the settings. but many roms to be more specific like cleanEX universal roms, use different slider icons which i dont like. im more of a fan of the original ones

anyone who has this app downloaded... knows that the quicklink icon is bad quality.. it kinda bothers me.. so is anyone up to making a better one??
cause thats the only "ugly" icon on my quicklinks and i would like to remedy it... any takers?? or perhaps someone could guide me and tell me how to do it.. so i can proceed?

I made this (and I am definitely not a photoshop expert as you can see) and this is not glossy unlike Dinik Anastasia icons but it does sort of do the trick for me.

i have switched out many bad icon using CSMI (change start menu icon). works like a charm...
note - i realized that it does matter wherever you store your new icons (meaning you can't switch them and delete the original graphic) and you can't move them around at will. so i just put them all in a folder on my sd card and now no problems.

Yep, just save to comp then transfer to phone. You will have to use an icon changer program app like JWMD icon changer, or CSMI (if you search those here on XDA, you will find the cab files with the instructions on how to use them). I use JWMD since it has intuitive UI and is easy to use. Changing icons is a tedious process since you have to do it one icon at a time. Good luck!

<THEME> SkyRaider3.5_ BLUE/red GingerBread_ 2/3/11

This theme is mainly that of Bezerker07's themes found here
He gave me the ok to mash his theme with my Gingerbread theme making a BLUE and RED gingerbread theme.
As of right now, only the BLUE has been fully built and tested, an confirmed no problems. RED will be up shortly.
To install simply flash from recovery.
This has only been tested on SkyRaider3.5, any other ROM is on your own accord. Make sure to NANDROID before, just in case.

Only one small request. I have tried to use the black nav bar metamorph from the OP of your other thread for SR black nav to get the black stock rosie I just get a rounded version of the clear black default launcher. If I could have the black stock rosie with this package I would be set........
Im not skilled enough to make it all into one. Any takers for either? I'll post in the other thread as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dig the current theme just would like to swap the rosie bars. Rather than the black clear I would prefer the blacked out version of the stock rosie you included in v1 & v2 of the green/black GB theme fro SR. Pretty much same request I made in that thread........
