I have used pocketgnuboy for a while now to play rom files on my XDA orbit.
This had worked fine for me with no problems.
However recently i have bought a new phone which has better functions and screen resolution. The problem i now have is that PocketGnuBoy does not fullscreen and is a small square in the corner.
Does anyone know if there is a way to edit registy/pocketgnuboy or other gameboy colour emulators that would run at the full resolution of 640x480?
This is a long shot for me and any information or help would be greatly apprecicated.
i am curious how morphgear would behave on your machine...
btw there were plenty of gb emulators/versions..
Many i had tried failed with the same problem.
But i remember trying gear and it not working, but upon looking into why it wasn;t working i realised i didnt put any plugins onto it =] (silly me)
So using morph gear and it works perfect!!
And that has the feature i was looking for which can scale and fullscreen the rom!

well, yesterday i've read an article for special tweaks on the diamond's registry and there was one of this tips that amazed me (i've an HTC TOUCH VIVA)...so in the registry setting (on HKLM\software\HTC\HTCAnimation) there are two strings (StartupGIF & StartupWav) that allow the htc logo and midi to start when you turn on the device, after the loading of ROM's files...i thought that was a fantastic idea try to change this names for not allow to start this logo and this midi on the device startup; infact down of this tip there was a note that talks about a big improvement of speed for the loading of Oparative System...i would try but i don't know if can damage my device and so i scared because the risk is high..for this reasons i ask you: is this a secure method for speed up device or is a way for crashing my htc? please help me.

If you leave both entries for "StartupGIF" and "StartupWav" blank, your device will boot a bit faster and that's all! You can't damage your device with editing these two registry entries!

any chance theres a weather forcast that uses google weather.I daily check yahoo and google weather and it seems that google is more precised then yahoo.
Or is there a way i can tweak spb shell weather or Weather Watcher to use Google weather? totaly appreciate any help

I have a P3600 and I download the latest version of S2U2, 1.40 QVGA version, and I have a problem, when I unlock the devices it responds too slow and I have to wait some seconds in order to get the device ready for use and make my devices too slow.
What can it be?
I have S2P and S2V without problems and working fine and fast.

I searched around and could not find an answer to this. I am familiar with .NET development and I am trying to figure out how to query the sensors available in the newer Windows Mobile phones (like the tilt sensor, light sensor, dpad touch scrolling, etc) using the .NET CF 3.5. Does anyone know how I would go about this and/or have any code snippets to share?
I would imagine it involves a sort of pinvoke on a system dll, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance!

Good morning.
I've developed an application for Windows Mobile which uses the CameraCaptureDialog to take photos. I've been working with HTC Touch and Dual, and it works perfectly, but now I have to use this application with HTC Diamond, and the accelerometer is annoying me.
If i take a photo with the diamond in horizontal, it works well and takes the photo with a resolution of 320x240 (i'm going to rise it to 640x480). but with the diamond in vertical, it takes the photo with a resolution of 240x320 and then stretches it to 320x240, so it is deformed.
Could you help me with this?

You can try to stop the accelerometer with Gyrator (where you can disable the rotation for your app)

Finally I've deleted the lines to limit the resolution and it is taking photos at 640x480 in horizontal and 480x640 when vertical, so I can check if the photo is vertical or horizontal before showing it, and then rotate it if is vertical.
