Help !!

Hello Everyone
I just bought a new XDA II on O2 network. This is the first time am using a PDA. I just want to knw whether i can use this PDA to connect to my laptop through a Private Area Network using bluetooth and thus share the internet on the PDA? If yes, could some one give me a hand on how to configure it?

when you are connected to activesync using bluetooth then you can surf on the internet unless your firewall is set to block it or you disabled the option in activesync on the pc

HTC S710 Vox and WiFi connect problem

hello,
i have a wifi with wep ascii key at home ( with canyon router ) and have not a problem with connecting, but with new phone htc s710 vox i start wifi modul, phone ask me for a password. ok. after maybe one minute phone ask me again, because it show "incorrect password". no possibilities for connecting.
if i stop bluetooth, phone show connecting ( tower with circle ), but after 1 second tower symbol will hide and information about wifi on today screen is hide too.
if i stop bluetooth and gsm modul, wifi connect to AP without problem. and it no problem to start bluetooth and gsm modul again. but after stop wifi will be same problem like on start my question.
is it some solution for this bug or is it problem only with my phone (warranty)?

so i have a solution. i hope.
if somebody will have same problem, try to set wifi power mode to best performance.
just work without problem at home

Wifi probem on Polaris

Hello everybody.
I have got a problem with my new HTC Touch Cruise. I have to choose "Best Performances" to have an Internet access with my wifi point. If I don't, I can connect to the AP (I have a IP) but I can't refresh meteo informations or use Internet Explorer ("Searching..." => Error message).
Now I can surf on Internet but I use too much battery ! (10% for only 10mn)
Can I solve this problem and how ? I would like to choose the "Best Battery Saving" mode and to be able to surf with Pocket Internet Explorer or MSN.

[Q] Issues (big ones) with open wifi connections

Plz just to inform, before posting I try really hard to solve it by myself !!!
I can not connect myself to any open wifi spot !

Android 2.1
I did succeeded to connect a week ago but right now I simply can not connect to anyone
I already tried some applications:
WIFI Analyzer
Wifi Manager
WifiFinder
They do locate it (open wifi spots( and try to obtain the IP address and even sometimes a connection is established by can not navigate, access market
Can a wifi spot be tagged as OPEN but it is not ?

[Q] Why does my WIFI dun work with IE, Opera etc...

Hello all i have an problem with the Winmobile from d-two
I use it on an I-Mate PDA2K PocketPC Blueangel (RC5 23698 Multi-Rom)
1st to d-two GREAT WORK
but i got some problems with the WIFI i found my network but IE or Opera tell me that i was not connected to the Inet...
But im connected with my router... with 100% signal...
so is there any fix or trick to solve the problem?

hmm i found a trick but not a solution...
if i turned on DHCP and let the PDA get the IP via it, the Inet work fine, but why not with a static ip?
can some1 help me pls?

so sry for the spam but i cant enter the right forum right now, coz it needed 10 posts... and no1 can or want help me...

Start - Settings - Connections - Connections - goto Advanced Settings
Select Networks __ Set your programs to use your privat network

THX for the tipp but it wont fix the problem...
If i appear the settings and switch back to an static ip, the inet dun work. The networkcard says it is connected but all apps say check your connection. If i return to an DHCP IP all will work fine.
