Sprint's touch pro - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I was have been wanting one of these phones since I first got my shadow and heard the rumors about this phone... Now I'm looking around at some phones and I was wondering if Sprint's HTC Touch pro will work on T-mobiles network? If not then what is the next best way to get a Raphael locally.

Sprint = CDMA
T-Mobile = GSM
I think there is no way. Your sprint phone has no sim. Must have sim for t-mobile.
Google is your friend, but have big bucks ready!!

will a GSM logicboard work in a CDMA touch Pro?

will a Fuze GSM logicboard work in a CDMA touch Pro?
Is the handset hardware different?
Maybe if I explain myself better, someone may have an answer or opinion.
I have a friend with a Sprint touch pro with a bad logic board (motherboard). He got a new phone and offered to give me the touch pro.
I am on AT&T and was wondering, if I can get a logic board from a GSM touch pro would it fit and work? I would assume to save on production costs the phones are the same, with different logicboards for GSM and CDMA.
I could be completely wrong, but that's why I am asking before I take the time or spend the money to get the fuze logic board.
Thanks!
You are correct, the boards are different between the two (even more so as theyre GSM vs CDMA). Your best bet would be eBay for bad ESN/broken Fuze's. Also, seems like you're under the impression that Sprint is GSM, they are not. Sprint is completely CDMA (except in certain markets where they've bought out smaller competition and have some GSM towers).

I understand Sprint is CDMA only, thats why I wondered if the GSM logicboard from a Fuze would work in the Sprint phone I got from my friend. Basically I want to convert a CDMA Sprint Touch Pro to a GSM Fuze for AT&T.
If the rest of the Hardware is the same and I found a Broken Fuze with a good logicboard, it would be a simple swap.

gsm cdma differences- not technical

so iv been with att since the 8525 i have a fuze now and i just lost my special employee rate and have to get a regular plan without a contract so im considering switching carriers.
besides the obvious differences like having the sim card and all.
is there any significant difference between say a touch pro gsm or cdma such as software you can run or rom limitations.
iv always got the feeling things were easier with gsm but just wanted to find out

HTC HD2 Unlocked?

My service provider is Alltel, and yes, Alltel is still available in my area, for some reason. They have the best coverage, by far, in the area.
They also have the worst phones. Is there any way that I can get an unlocked HTC HD2 and use it for Alltel? I figured this might work, since Alltel carries some of the HTC Windows Smartphones. The phones they have are horrible though, with the nicest smartphone being the HTC Touch Pro. They don't even have the Touch Pro2...
All comments are appreciated.
Hello and welcome to xda-developers
Alltel is a CDMA/EV-DO carrier, which means you can use only CDMA phones, which are very different from their GSM counterparts. The HD2 is a GSM phone and it is impossible to use it on a CDMA network.
I don't know if you can get a CDMA phone from another CDMA carrier (such as Verizon or Sprint) and use it on alltel network, as I am not that familiar with CDMA technology.

Do dual network Phones Exist?

Hello, I currently have Sprint in the USA and locked into a contract but when travelling, the service is spotty. I have to take a 2nd phone that I have with tmobile. I understand I can buy like a new Sprint iphone or the new nexus and just swap sim cards and that will work? That is one option. I was also wondering if there is like a single phone that will work with both sprint and tmobile at the same time. Kinda like the samsung duos phones but those only work with 2 gsm carriers. Tried a search but didnt get anywhere. Thanks. Just weighing my options here.

Not with Sprint. As you've no doubt seen, dual SIM phones aren't exactly common in the US. The few that are are imports, and fewer still will even support North American GSM bands. And of course, Sprint uses CDMA for telephony, and only Sprint phones work on their own network. Your only option would be to switch to AT&T and/or T-Mobile or their MVNOs that work on those networks, and find the rare phone that has LTE for both. But if you're sticking with Sprint, you'll either have to swap SIMs on a device that works with any (as you said, iPhone, Nexus...I think the Moto X Pure does too), or carry a 2nd phone for a different carrier.

Why buy the newest Verizon phones when CDMA will be gone in 6 months?

1. Why are Verizon's newest phones CDMA when it will be gone in 6 months? Their newest phones have CDMA, while Verizon is 100% LTE-A, and CDMA and non-HD voice phones will be shut down by the end of the year.
2. Does it make sense or do I need to buy a Verizon model Note 8 or 9 to work on Verizon's network? I will be living in the US and Colombia South America. I have a Verizon Note 3 w/o HD voice so I will I need to replace it before the end of the year. I will be replacing it with another Note series phone. The Verizon ones seem to support both CDMA and GSM and what I need for South America. With CDMA going away, does it make sense to buy a Verizon phone with both CDMA and GSM, or do I need to, to get it activated on their network?
Thanks!
