HTC Touch HD - I would like to use the vanilla Today, but have a way to run TouchFlo as an application. I wasn't able to find the app/link...

Hi all, this is my first 3d!
I have a amsam m810 (about clone htc touch) with WM6 professional.
I have install HTC home plugin 2.1 but don't see in Today. But I can see in Today setting. And I can modify HTC Home Cutomizer.
I installed htc thema, FTouchFlo and SCLPF and work fine.
I installed .net CF 3.5

I'm recently returning to touch screen WM devices after having a 6.1 smartphone for a few months.
I can't live without finger scrolling so i must ask, which is the best add on for finger scrolling? I used to use ftouchflo, it was ok, but it wasn't kinetic. Then i upgraded to ftouchsl, but it was quite buggy.
Now I see the touch diamond and touch pro/fuze as well as the lg incite with nice, built in kinetic scrolling. Is there any way to port such an add on to the Tilt? (The phone i'm using) or are there any good alternatives?

I don't think there's anything better to use than the FtouchSL...
use HTC Touchflo instead of ftouchflo, or ftouchsl,. it have so many option anyway,.
I beleive that if you install TF2D found on the development and hacking forum it will include HTC Touchflo, which works great as far as I am concerned.
htc touchflo is far more superior than ftouchflo or ftouchfloSL. I have tried both on my Polaris. The kinetic scrilling in HTC is very good.
You have a HTC Tilt yes? If so, is touch scrolling enabled? (Settings->System->TouchFlo, if that doesn't exist, I suggest you flash a cooked ROM, most of which contain TouchFlo built in).

The only and big advantage ftouchflo/ftouchsl has over HTC touchflo is that it is cofigurable. while using the handwritten notes (I use PhatPad) the touch scrolling can be switched off while using ftouchSL/ftouchflo whereas it remains a pain in thw [email protected]# using it with HTC touchflo.
Thanks everyone. I had a hermes a couple months ago and when i put m2d on it, it didn't include touchflo for the whole system. Apparently it does now? I'll try an m2d rom on my tilt when it comes in a day or two and see what happens.
Have anybody tried a rom with Manila 3D on wizard G3 device...........

I think, the reason you did not get any answer is, that it has been already disccused! HTC Wizard doesnt have hardware parameters to run original TouchFLO3D mad by HTC it needs hardware 3D acceleration which HTC Wizard procesor does not support. There is many ROMs with Manilla 2D which runs on HTC Wizard and looks similar like TouchFLO3D!

I would like to run both HTC Sense and Spb Mobile Shell, but no matter what I do, they just do not work together or coexist. Before, I used to to run both application with MSToggler and SecondToday.
I have written to Spb and apparently they are working on other projects...
Is there any solution to this?

I run SPB 3.5, and indeed it doesn't work together. Sense is being inactivated as you install SPB. But you can access quite a few HTC apps still. Just by looking for them in the windows map on your device, you can also manually add shortcuts to them in SPB.
Examples of apps that do work:
- Albums
- Camera
- Video camera
- Footcam (of the footprints suite, though this doesn't work completely well...)
- Facebook
- Twitter
Apps that do not work:
- Footprints
- Audio manager
I just use different software for audio, footprints I won't use at least in the near future.

I´ve installed TFDetacher apps in my HD2 end they work both. You must create a shortcut on today MobilleShell to go to HTC Sense and must create another shortcut un today htc sense to go SPB Home.

now i have instaal S2U2 but when i turn my hd2 on then i get furst the unlock screen from S2U2 and then the unlock sreen from htc tochflo
and that is not what i want i want only S2U2 screen

You mast install Today Switcher v.2 or Shell Switcher v1.0.5 (can found on 4PDA.ru)!!!
This is switchers for Sence and SPB Shell.
For some reason I do not want to go!
I made a hard reset in my HTC touch diamond 2 phone and can not find in order to install thew 3d Touch flo application I am using the wm 6.5 screen. Can the touchflo 3D app be purchased in order to get it installed again in my phone?
Have you tried going into Settings\Today\Items and choosing "Sense".
Sense (TF3D) is native to your phone even with a hard reset.
