I've just flashed my kaiser with the latest Dutty Roms (V.2) and now I can't seem to find a red theme anymore. I used to have that on the phone when I bought it, but it's gone.
Anyone know where I could find an all red theme with a clean red background that can be used with the HTC home plugin?
www.pocketpcthemes.com
or just google pocketpc themes or windows mobile themes
Yeah well, I've searched different 'theme' sites already, and they almost always have beautifull themes listed. But all seem to have anoying background images that don't go well with the HTC Home plugin. And a theme with a plain red background I haven't found yet.
I am looking for these too. You can get the blue one back from duttys cab list, but i don't know wher ethe green and red themes are!
You could also use the Theme generator (Freeware) to create your own. And, by the way, you can choose your own background in the today settings
A large collection of themes here at XDA

Maybe it has what you're seeking.

Thanks. Anybody got the complete red, blue, green themes as a complete OEM set, if DK is going to be pulling them out of his builds?

Here's green. The blue is the wm5 default theme. I don't have that tsk. I think the blue was just the default setting.
Woohooo excellent, thanks a lot.
I couldn't read anywhere... Is there a special file where you are supposed to download the tsk files? In my experience I can extract them anywhere and it works...
The second question is related to themes... If I install any tsk files I get fines orizontal blue lines in the background or email and sms. How can I fix that?
Put .tsk into Windows folder, modify .tsk files

1. .tsk files have to go into \Windows, pretty sure - I have lots on my storage card but they don't show up in the Today theme options until I move them into \Windows.
2. I found those horizontal blue lines in some of the themes I tried, e.g. T1000Chick which I really liked otherwise, but the lines made contacts very hard to decipher - so I imported the theme into a theme generator (I used ThemeGenCE), and changed the background colors and made them both the same (or you can make them nearly so and get a faint lined background that doesn't distract from readability of overlying text).
Blue default theme
Does anyone have hte blue default theme in a tsk file?

Themes will ABSOLUTELY show up in the theme window of settings from the SD card. They MUST however be in the root of the sd card & not within a folder.
I'm not sure which forum to post this in but here goes. Does anyone know how to change the font color in TF3D? AT&T uses a white font on the home screen and a black font on the other screens and I can't read the black font very well, I need to change it to white. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
I would assume its in the TF3D config files located in the Windows Folder. It's been a while since I messed with TF3D since I don't like it much.
You might want to search and download a TF3D Configurator Program, which provides a nice little interface to select various options and automatically edits the config file.
Hey guys,
i just wanted to know if there is a cab that hides the manila slider at the bottom of the homescreen. i already have a transparent background for that bar, but i want the icons to not to be visible.
can anyone help me?
thanks in advanced!
Then edit a manila slider .cab with png files which are empty.
Use manila editor to explore an unzipped .cab and edit the images with the grafix editor of your choice. Leave the icons alpha blending blank and you have what you want I guess. Pack the files again to .cab with IZArc (including the .xml and stuff of course), move and apply. Try it. Not sure if it works.
Why would he want to go through all that if he could just load a program like Cookies Home Tab or MaxManila that would give the option to drop the slider into a hide button plus several other options.
Dunno. Maybe he wants to slide it but without icons. Just to have a dimmed screen with labels.
I was told that if I copied over the Manila File 4f914e0d with one that was edited to make the text on my home screen, "CALENDAR" go away but it does not. Does anyone have a cab file for this. When I use cookie's tab to "show when relevant" the date and alarm pops up with a grayish background. Also my clock has clear borders around it!!! I'm trying to get rid of this crap so I can have and enjoy the background I like. I've been up since 9AM EST reading through several posts and installing and uninstalling cabs and manila files to no avail. I NEED HELP!!!!

Yea those two threads do nothing for me. There isn't a cab that removes the "text" 'Calendar' from the homescreen. There is one that removes it from the lockscreen. And there isn't a Cab that removes the "clear frames" from under my digital clock. Also I've noticed where people can edit the word "start" on the top curtain...how can I do this?

Clear frames from under the clock??? Are you talking about the background for the calendar/alarm on the home screen? That would be the first cab.
and the no start text cab is the 2nd one.
If this isnt what you are looking for, please give us a screen shot pointing to what you need.
OK do you
see how this image has frames around the digital clock
Also you see the text "calendar" right below the date and alarm.
I want to remove calendar and I want to remove those "clear" frames around the digital clock. Also its not about removing the text "start" in the top curtain...I want to edit it. See the other picture...
EDIT: I removed the text/word "Calendar" from my homescreen by selecting menu/Edit Home Layout: Then I held pressed "Calendar" and it prompted me if I wanted to remove it and there it went.. Now the only thing ...those darn eyeglass frames around my digital clock and editing the top curtain.
That should remove the clock background fully. It is in one of or both posts I posted in post 3.

Didn't work. Most of the Touch X's i've used do not work. I'm running the new TmoUS ROM on my HD2. Also I do not want to remove that "start" in the top curtain as so much as to edit it. Also do you know of a way besides HDWALL and B4ALL to get the homescreen wallpaper to show on the top and bottom curtains as well...?
Are those "frames" not part of the clock itself and not a background. I think you need to look for another completely transparent clock. I'm not sure which one to suggest, but that's where I'd be looking rather than cabs for transparent backgrounds
Interesting

Try these, unzip and copy files to \Windows (backup the originals first ) and then overwrite the originals. You may need to use Total Commander or Resco File Explorer to do so.
For editing the name on the top I use CHT Editor, but you can also try MaxTTM (look in the Blackstone aka Touch HD section) if you don't use the Co0kie Home tabs mod.
EDIT: I see you also use the CHT Editor - so to change the operator name is very easy, go to - Menu\CHT Editor\Miscellaneous settings> and scroll down to Custom Operator text and edit to whatever you wish
I agree with Clyde. That cab should remove the BG of the clock all together.
I have a stock rom T-MoUS as well, and 90% of the Touch X cabs work for me. so they should work for you no probs. Maybe you have something installed that
does not get along with the cabs.
As for the start text thing.. I dont know if you can edit it. I know it can be removed. Not seen it edited to say something ells. CHT will allow you to change the operator text, just below the start text.
After looking at the second pic again. I *THINK* that is a personal rom that Antonio uses. If that is the case, he has that cooked into the rom like that.
You can also try this to edit the Operator name - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=359563&highlight=personalizer

You can try this clock and then just use the Touch X cab to remove the clock frame/background - http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=261685&d=1262103604 (Courtesy of Antoniomistretta)
Yea I like the basic clock...i'm just trying to find one without those clear borders. And I already edited the Carrier name right below the top curtain...I just didn't know that was built inside a ROM within the Top Curtain...I thought that was a cab...
Now just to be clear

That zip file contains files that will make my home tab top and bottom bars/curtains transparent so my wallpaper will show the entire length of my display?

No. it will only take away the shaded areas behind the Operator name and behind the sliders. To skin the taskbar and softkey bar you need to use something like HD Wall, or alternatively the volDeus tweak (link in my signature) but HD Wall is a little easier to use. You can also skin the bars using MaxTTM referred to earlier.
I do not

Hi!
I'm using CHT 2.0 an I'm now looking for the wallpaper of the programs page (pressing windows button) in Artemis-ROM V50. I would like to use the blue gradient wallpaper on all sides of the HTC Sense UI. Unfortunately I think these graphics are not part of the ArtemisGreenBlack theme because they are not in the cab file.
Can someone tell me where I can find the graphics for wallpaper, taskbar and softkeybar as see on the program page in the named theme?
With many thanks.
NM
if it can help .. there should be a CHT option to set the same background in all tabs (otherwise you could use "back ground for all" cab attached), and serarch in these sites a wallpaper of your taste
stock bacgrounds are stored in \my documents\wallpapers (if I rember the WWE folder name..)

Hola, since your using CHT and Artemis, there shouldn´t be any problem...
Besides what jjollyroger already wrote, maybe I don´t understand your question, but if you are refering to the "turqoise" WP, it´s in the ROM, Windows directory and it´s one of the called "stwater" image files (Default_stwater_480_800.gif & Default_stwater_800_480.gif)
Regarding taskbar and softkeybar, this will depend on the theme you´re using.
If you are using Artemis Greeen Black, then the files are the following:
Taskbar: "art_gb_Taskbar.png", "HTCBlack_taskbar.png"
Softkey: "art_gb_SKBackground.png", "art_gb_SKButton.png", "art_gb_SKButtonDisabled.png", "art_gb_SKButtonSelected.png" and also one "xyz_softkeybar.png" depending on the last theme used (probably "classicblue_softkeybar.png").
For both you can also check in the registry to see which files are beeing used:
1. HKCU\software\Microsoft\Today\TaskBar\TaskBarThemeImage
2. HKCU\software\Microsoft\Today\Softkeybar\SoftkeyBarThemeImage
