Has any one tried pairing and XDA2 (etc) to the BMW bluetooth kit. I'm hoping it will work for basic functionality because the BMW kit uses the headset profile on my Nokia. (rather than the handsfree profile)
Any one tried it?????
Thanks
Jon
916senna, I tried to get my XDA2 to work with the factory fitted BT in my BMW. The devices pair (Bond) but thats as far as it worked. when I turn on the ignition the phone isn't recognized.
My T68i works fine Will play around with it again soon when I have some spair time, but I think that it's due to a poor implementation of BT.
Hopefully a future Rom upgrade will do sort it out.
I would bet that the BMW uses the Handsfree-profile, that isn't suported by the XDA II
XDA II and BMW bluetooth
I've had the same issue. BMW GB don't want to know and say it's the XDA II. I have just emailed O2 for their response.
Hey all, I'm new at this so bear with me....I have the 8125 pocket pc, and I got a pair of Motorola stereo headphones as a gift, i just learned that they are not compatible cuz i dont have this particular bluetooth profile, can anyone tell how to get this file?....thanks
Hello there,
I have my DHD now for about 3 months and thought I could add some accessories so I bought a NOKIA BH-604 Bluetooth headset. I have to admit amazing quality!
easy to use and connects/ pairs easily.
But I noticed something weird, the music falters randomly or whenever I move and thats killing me!!
I thought it was the headphone being incompatible with the DHD or the headphone being broken.
Once connected to a nokia phone I didn't have those problems also connected to a HD2 running NAND android cyanogenmod, the same, no problems at all
so could it be my phone
Their are apps on the market for blocking out headphone controls, I've only heard of this problem with wired headsets but it may also help you.
I'm looking for an accessory that may or may not exist or he possible bit if anyone knows it would be you guys. Basically instead of buying a whole Bluetooth speaker system I'm looking for something to let me use my already existing speakers which are just directly plugged into my TV via Bluetooth to listen to music from my phone. My first thought was of some sort of HDMI device that acted as a Bluetooth stereo receiver but I'm not sure xD. Love for some input on the matter.

Hi all, I just wondered what is the best way to listen to music in the car with the phone? I bought an AUX cable thinking this was the simplest way, but when I plugged it into my car, apparently Sony doesn't support this feature - why!? Is there a better/alternative that will actually work? My car is quite old so not sure about the whole bluetooth thing..?
Thanks!
