Ok, I know this must be simple but I just can 't find the answer. I suspect I'm just searching using the wrong terminology. Where can I download mms messages on the internet? I have found places to enter my phone number for it to be sent to me but I don't want to get put on a spam list. I would rather download to my pc and transfer them to my phone via the usb connection. Thanks in advance!

have your mms and gprs reception activated by your operator?
what device you have? and what ROM did you use?
If you are using a custom ROM :
- flash back to original ROM, and just try the same way of receiving the mms
- if it still cant, i would suggest you to contact your operator,.
hope this help
Thanks for the reply. Actually I'm using the original att rom on my tilt and I can send and receive mms messages fine. I'm just looking for new mms messages I can put on my phone to send. I would prefer something free if it exists.
what kind of new mms message you would like to have?
a picture?
something like this?
http://www.mycutepictures.com/mmspictures.php
if so, just search for "free mms pictures" at google

I'm planning on buying one this week locally. But if I can not setup the MMS as I could not on my actual unlock samsung piece (D600) then I rather wait for the AT&T version.
Thanks

Well i would think that the AT&T settings cabs that are floating around should work like they do on all the other PPC's, but i thought that was what you meant. Hopefully someone can hook you up with that knowledge.
I remember seeing a setting that said MMS message in one of the videos I saw for the touch pro. I'm sure you can put in the AT&T MMS setting to get it working.
I have a HTC Touch Pro on AT&T and the MMS works fine. When first using the phone it configures your connections and they work fine as far as I can tell.

If you need any of the settings you can PM me, I obviously have all of the settings from the stock ROM and those work 100% for everything having to do with AT&T. Just let me know.

Im on T-Mobile and the settings all were input when I put my sim in..... Seems they changed this and followed Nokia
I can't send pictures out in text messages. The message gets stuck in Outbox folder.
What exactly should I do to get it working. I'm talking of a small sized picture.
Please help.
I'm running the stock Rom. The only change I've made was the NoGPRS cab.
well it requires gprs to send a mms by taking it off it makes the phone try to send it off as an email

I've tried to to switch the gprs back on, but it's still not working. I did this the first time I encountered the problem. No luck, though.
Does any know the registry settings for the mms and sms sending protocol for the raphael? I think the problem is associated with gprs and media net not letting the other go through. I have the same problem of not been able to send sms or mms out, they reside in the outbox, and dont get sent. I really exausted my knowledge on this and need any help you can provide. If someone has a cab wit hthe registry for the above, that is also welcomed. Thank you.

I'm having the same problem. I double-checked the MMS settings with AT&T's website, and everything should be working, but anything I try to send gets stuck in Outbox purgatory.
What's happening guys? I've searched through forum after forum trying to figure out why my Boost EVO won't send picture messages and have yet to find a solution to my problem. I did the ##3282# thing, went to Advanced & changed the MMS Server URL to http ://mm.myboostmobile.com (I put the space between the http & the ://mm.myboostmobile.com because I'm a new poster so this site wouldn't allow me to post it due to possible spamming) & still haven't had any luck at all. I can receive picture messages with no problem, but when I go to send them, it appears as if they've been sent out, but the phone that they're sent to never receives them. I've tested this out myself by sending a few picture messages from my Boost EVO to my Cricket EVO, which has no problem sending or receiving mms, and it never receives the picture messages from the Boost EVO. Anybody have any suggestions? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanx
i have same exact problem
Yea im frustrated it seems nobody knows how to fix this im running ultimate droid 3.3 and everything works flawless except i can not send mms can recieve sms and send but no matter what ive tried as far as apps deleting file and other fixes somebody with more experince please help htc evo on boost mobile oh and the data fix ##data#does nothing wont even ask for msl which i have i hit send and everything nothing /
I tried for 2 weeks to get mms on my new Evo (flashed to Boost). I finally found a solution! I had to post because 1) xda-developers is awesome and 2) I'm so grateful to the original author of the solution (sorry I don't have the name or link for credit) I wanted to pass it along.
Sounds like you guys are running CM ROMs...##3282# doesn't work with CM, but don't worry, you don't need it! OK, ready for the crazy simple fix?? Here goes:
Download and install GoSmsPro from Market
Open the app and go to Menu>Settings>MMS Settings>APN Configuration
Check the Fill APN Configuration Manually box
MMSC = mm.myboostmobile (you know the rest)
Leave MMS Proxy blank
MMS Port = 80
Reboot your phone
That's it! You should now be able to send mms. Still trying to find a fix to receive mms directly instead of having to use web browser. If anyone has a solution please post!

There are just 5 posts in this thread and the first post spells out the mm.myboostmobile.com. I can't verify whether setting this in GO SMS Pro is sufficient or not. I did go and get GO SMS but I also did the ##DATA# >Edit>Advanced thing and changed the MMS from the sprint one.
I am getting MMS messages working in BOTH directions. IMPORTANT: At first I was having failures in sending. That was because I forgot to use the whole 10 digit number to send to. They appeared to be sent but they didn't go anywhere. Then I tried sending one to my own number which happened to be complete with area code. A couple seconds later I received it back. Shortly after that I got a message from Boost Mobile telling me that my Media Mail account was activated. So, it may be that simple. Half-working is not good enough.

I dont think boost will be willing to help if I tell them that I have an evo on their network... it sucks on the stock rom that my evo was flashed, mms works fine, and my data wont drop... but if i go with cm7 my mms will not send although it says it was sent and I can receive mms... ohhh and my data goes out every 10 min, so I have to turn 3g on and off to get it working again... but I dont want a sense rom, I love cm7...

OK so its a CM based problem. Make sure you don't turn background data off or mms will not send on CM based roms. The fact that your data keeps swiping is my mms won't send.
I am trying to solve this problem too. I have changed the address in the advanced ##DATA# menu but that doesn't do anything.
I have the 1/11/2012 Energy ROM installed, fresh install actually. Any suggestions?
EDIT: This seems to be related to the ROM, I nandroided back to my original rom and outgoing MMS works.
Not sure where that leaves me now though
if u would like to know the easiest way to do this message me and I will give the instructions. it doesnt require any other apps just your meid.

I think you solved this without knowing.
I just flashed my EVO 4G LTE to boost and everything was good short of being unable to send MMS over 3g (wifi was fine)
You posted to leave the MMS Proxy blank.
So I went into EPST and made sure that mms destination address as correct and then wnet nad set the mms proxy to blank and now I can send mms over 3G.

Could be an APN problem. You'll need to setup an access point in WM for your specific carrier to enable the internet. I forget where you do that, sorry.
As for your messages, are you talking about texts or MMS? MMS won't work without the APN set up
really appreciate but its my sms, i wish you new how to get the APN stuff

I can help with an APN, but that won't fix your text messages. Can you be more specific about the problem?
Hi guys:
I already searched for this in Google and what not, and I have tried some, but with no luck. Here's my situation:
I own an Unlocked Nokia X2-01 with a T-mobile SIM Card working. (I'm not prepaid, just with a expired contract).
I receive calls and make them nicely. I'm able to receive text messages and send, but, for some reason I can't make work the MMS messages since I can't receive them.
I tested already the proposed settings here, but I can't make them work since those are for other devices, not a Nokia X2-01.
How do I make MMS settings work with my device so I can receive mms?
If someone wants to drop a hint, thanks very much in advance! And sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks!
Thanks anyway.
Still waiting for someone to share a hint. I already tried some configurations but they didn't work for me since those are for other devices.
Thanks in advance and i'll keep waiting. Thanks guys!
*BUMP THIS UP*
Anyone can share a hint? Thanks guys!
Got something working, partially...
Ok! Here's the thing. I've done more search and I've found a partial fix for the mms settings. I'll share the fix for the benefit of everyone.
I was a couple of days ago inside the t-mobile website. And I didnt notice a help section they have for "non-tmobile devices" (see the attached PDF file for specific details). I found this only thru their search option.
So, I took the phone. I went to the menu->settings->configuration->personal settings. And there I created an access point and a multimedia msg. settings with those tmobile provide in their site.
Inside access point I inserted the wap.voicestream.com address inside of the packet data access pt. option.
Then, I inserted the mms server address inside the multimedia messages personal setting.
Now, I activated both in my phone and I'm now able to receive picture messages. And, I just said picture messages. Now I have the problem of sending mms messages. When I try to send an mms for example, to an android phone of some relative they only see a little triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Just that, no photo.
There's where im at right now figuring out the sending of mms. If I make that work i'll post results. If anyone wants to drop a hint on sending mms, configuration, etc. Please do.
Thanks and i'll check back later.

You are not really helping with your situation. Are you stock, flashed anything, issue just randomly start, using stock messaging app etc? More information you supply the easier it would be to help out.
Ok Ducter my bad, is ok I was told to register network and that did it… mughtykc I suggest you do the same… thank you ☺
still not able to send MMS or recieve since the last update
im 100% stock, have a few appls disabled with package disabler pro,
ive enabled everything to see if maybe something i did was the problem
cant send MMS or recieve them, always get a failed to download, try again message
ive played with different APN settings and "registered" the network and still nothing
ive tried different messaging apps
Hangouts
Google messenger
Stock Samsung messenger
etc etc
edit:
got curious, called Tmobile, i ended up factory wiping the device, still the same problem
going to go with a new Sim card and see if that fixes anything
