Can someone identify this program?

Hi All
look at this review of the new Palm Treo 750v http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3415 and look at the Messaging section! They use a differt program for SMS and MMS! Does someone know what is the program and can it be found separetly?

How to search it as I don't even know the name of it!

Search for "palm treo". It works!

QCaps for Treo 750

Any development news on QCaps for the 750 or a similar program to that effect? The program emulates the blackberry way of inputting where pressing a keyboard key and holding it would change from lowercase to uppercase to characters, etc...

They are supposed to be releasing a version for the Treo and another device soon... keep checking their site for news on this...

I got an email yesterday saying they hoped to release a version for the 700Wx next week. Not sure if that would be the same as the 750, but I'm guessing it would come soon if not at the same time.

a newer version of this (and IMO a better one) can be found in the 2nd post of the XM6r2 thread (see my sig).
I have the one you are asking for at home and can post it later, but on earlier versions of wm6, it caused mms pics to be received in a small format. I found the new one in the hermes forum and it fixed that issue and allows you to use MediaNet and not PdaConnect (so saves you $'s each month )

Can't find Treo 750 Windows Mobile 6 Download

I am sure this has been beaten to death, and yes I know that Palm no longer offers this -- for a reason I can't imagine! I have a Cingular-branded Treo 750 and I'm trying to scour the Internets to find an archived version of the Treo 750 Updater for Windows Mobile 6.0 -- the official one for AT&T, as my phone is not unlocked. Can anyone tell me HOW to search for it, even if they can't give me a link? I found a couple of DEAD links to a site that no longer is apparently even out there at mytreo.net... but nothing that actually works. I even used the Internet Wayback Machine and found the official Palm pages for the updater, which worked all the way until I got to the ACTUAL link for the ZIP file.

EDIT - I'm not allowed to post links. Hopefully you can figure out how to use the link fragments below.

Unfortunately, my whole mission is simunlocking an old Cingular 750 so I can send it with a friend to France and use it locally, so I've sim unlocked my 750 and the desktop updater won't work.
I just found a link to the 2.25 sd updater on this page, last post:

HTH - if anyone can point me to a live 2.27 sd updater or a recent generic I'd appreciate it.

I haven't tested them yet, but I went ahead and downloaded both versions from the second link fragment... just in case one way gives me a problem. Plus, I don't like to own a device and not have a personal archive of updates and such...

I am in the process of downloading these files now. Just a quick question, though to save me time...which is the one that I will need to have the most recent version of WM6 (preferred) for use on an unlocked phone? Sadly, I am an AT&T customer, but the phone is unlocked.

2_25_ATT is the final version distributed by AT&T. If you are an AT&T customer, I would use that one.

I want to try to flash my treo 750V for setup win 6.5 but i don't know how to.
I've a rom (if you have another to advice me i heard you) and i don't have a "mini"SD card, i read on the web that we can flash with the internal memory of treo.
If you can give me more information, a complete "how to" or let me the url of something like that.

[Q] threaded (conversation) email option in wm6.5.x

Does anyone know how to enable threaded email (Conversation Email option) option in pocket Outlook of Sprint Lovers ROM (CE OS 5.2.28232 (Build 28232.5.3.3)). This is a feature that is available in wm6.5.3. If anyone knows of any ROM that has this added features for Sprint TP2, please let me know.
I am doing push email using TP2's ActiveSync with my Gmail account. Furthermore, I went to the registry and searched for the word "conversation". There is one DWord that has it, but conversation mode does not appear in my pocket email. Here is the reg key:
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync]
"ConversationMode"=dword:1

It's either cooked in or it isn't. Any ROM running build 235xx is going to have it. It's a part of the SYS build itself. It's not an app that you can add in. Ask your chef about it. So far you can only get threaded email in 6.5.3 builds. If you're looking for it in 6.5, then you're out of luck.

I seriously doubt that's going to work. I'm not saying it won't, but judging by the feedback on the thread, it doesn't look like it's working for most people.
