Blue&Me Fiat Bravo and Windows mobile - General Questions and Answers

Hi.
I have one question. I have new Fiat Bravo with Blue&Me and HTC touch Cruise/Polaris. By default B&M can't do anything, you can just call if you pair B&M and Windows Mobile device. But If B&M works fully than also can transfer phonebook, last calls, read messages,...
I found this program http://jetwaremobile.com/install.htm
This program add some extra BT profile and now I can do everything.
But I still can't see messages (SMS) on Blue&Me.
Maybe somebody knows some other program, that maybe I can also see messages and that Bleu&Me can read this messages?
Thanks

SMS notifications based on contacts/groups

Hi Guys,
I desperately need a way to have my phone play different sounds when as sms is received based on which contacts or groups send the sms (exactly the way there is a setting for specific ring tone).
I am running Windows Mobile 2005 on an O2 Atom - latest ROM.
Is this possible? Any advice?
i was using mortring 0.97 version; simple app which allows you to set ringtones and sms tones on a per contact/group basis....but i think it had some wm2005 compatibility issues and this was later confirmed by other folks running wm2005. there's also ringo; similar app but the difference is mortring is free while ringo is not. tried it; i'm using a mio a701 and still it has some compatibility issues. i've noticed that for both the ringo and mortring; wm2005 seems to be able to handle sms tones...but for the ringtones the compatibility issues go back. sometimes the phone rings but there's no sound...other times the default ring tone comes back on. for now i've been doing some reading and so far i haven't come across a third party app that's really 100% for this kind of utility.
cheers

There was a program called Call Assistant... it would answer any incomming call and send back a sms message to them.... it MIGHT have sms support for reciving as well.....
perhaps that will work for you?
Hey, I got curious and downloaded the latest version....
So there IS a later version..
from www.ruttensoft.com
Damn.. just tried that.....
Does not answer SMS messages. Sorry.. perhaps contact them and see if they have something else?
There are many tools supporting SMS at unanswerd Call...But only few that support autoanswer an SMS with a SMS...
And $21 for a.SMS is to much for that function...
I ve bought skscript, but the "Event SMS" didnt work either. Perhaps with my GERMAN ROM-Version.
If i have time i spend it on writing my own. I am looking an Free development enviroment.

How send SMS from PC

Hey everyone,
my question is rather simple. Does anyone know of a program, that I could use to send text messages from the computer, rather than my touch pro 2?
Managing sms from the computer would be nice aswell, but it's not necessary.
Thanks a lot.

A quick bit of googling for FreeSMS 1.4.6 should point you in the right direction! I have no idea if its freeware or not!
Thanks...
But I was thinking more in the likes of this:
Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Outlook SMS Add-in (MOSA)
(I can't post outside links)
Ideally, I would like a software, that connects to the TP2, gets all the texts, manages them and lets me write texts to phone numbers stored on the phone.
Hi again,
Yippie! I found one.
Here it goes:
Efficasoft Mobile Express
Moved as not software release.
Go to txt2day.com voila!
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App

[Q] Reading Emails from Outlook

Does anyone know if anything is in the works to allow WP7 to read Outlook email outloud, i.e. Text to Voice?
I thought this would be in WP7 or have an app for it, but can't find any apps and more sadly, not hear of anything coming down the road.
TIA.
tellme in windows can read texts out loud so the technology is there. It just hasn't been applied to the calendar or outlook app yet. When driving this would be a nice feature. The only time i think i would use it though.
Hi,
perhaps you can find a hint on this here
After reading I thought, that it must be a builtin function on mango at least for short message but because SMS is in message hub, so why it should not read mail messages too?

In car while driving is exactly the purpose. I would expect this would be used for SMS as well.

[Q] [WM6.5] Searching GPS-App with SMS service but without internet connection

Hello,
I am looking for a GPS-app that can send my actual position to a friend by sms. The receiving Phone should be able to show the distance and direction to the sended GPS-data without using internet.
I found lots of apps on the www that can send the position by SMS or email. But when I read the description or installed them on my phone I found out that none of them could read the incoming sms and show the direction and distance to the partner without using google maps or other internet-based maps. I also found some apps that can show me distance and direction to a GPS-position, but I found no way how to copy the data from the sms into the programs. Copying to the clipboard from the SMS worked, but how should I get them into the program without typing them on the keyboard, if there is no paste-function?
The SMS should only be invoked by the sending party as one single sms without repeating periodically, that means I donĀ“t want a spy function that answers to a incoming sms with GPS-data without asking the owner of the phone. The software should run on "HTC Touch II" and "HTC Touch Pro II", both with Windows Mobile 6.5. Multilanguage (including German) would be great.
Sorry for asking on that website, but all programs I found missed at least one of my wishes. Who can help me?
