i have spend a lot of time (about 3 weeks) to build this 2 roms, and i think everybody that have downloaded and use one of this roms have to say "thank you".
i will never build roms for all!
roms are only on my harddrive.

hello xacsx, hope all is well with you. first of all the rom is really great. i have found two problems until now. the first one is that advance config tool cannot be opened (an error occurs) and also when u place the keyboard on the device the feature with the blue screen under the opening of the keyboard that shows notifications doesnt seem to work. otherwise the rom is very good. if i find anything else i will report it. thanx again for this great rom.

Yes of course it worked. I have the htc x7510 not ameo or xda flint. and it actually worked with the stock rom that came with it. I had installed realVGA and it worked in all three resolutions. Now it doesnt work at all. When I place the keyboard onto the device the screen just turns off. The subdisplay is a useful feature that I use all the time to check my notifications.

Yes, subdisplay works for me in ALL dpi's: 192, 96, and 128, but I am running the stock ROM.

perhaps i should flash the latest stock rom that cmonex has posted to see if it works with all resolutions. I had tried realVGA with the stock rom that my device came with. xacsx do you mean that the german version of your rom has no problems with subdisplay? is there anybody that has flashed xacsx's wwe rom and can confirm that subdisplay works or not?

Thx for confirming that I have one of the pre-release XDA Flints; 3 of us were testing them, and for 2 of us the subdisplay has never worked, regardless of which ROM or resolution is used, so I have to assume it is a hardware issue.
i have updated the GER-Rom. Netcf now works correct without patches or registryrepair, subdisplay works with all resolutions.
i have prepared the wwe-rom, no need to repair registry for netcf, subdisplay works, advanced config tool added.

Just installed your ROM and I am starting to look a few things over. I wanted to switch to 96 dpi, but I can't seem to find real vga in the settings. I was able to launch it out of the windows directory... how can I create a settings shortcut for this?

oops, have forgotten again ?? (to make a shortcut to settings or programs for realvga). use fileexplorer (not totalcommander) to make a shortcut. tap realvga > copy, go to start menu > settings or programs > tap on "create shortcut". otherwise you can make it on your computer after connecting with active sync (xp) or device center (vista)

This was happening with the stock rom and I was hoping it would just go away with yours. When I plug the thing into a power source, be it computer or wall, the screen randomly turns on and off. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix it?

First off thanks to MuN for baserom and keyboard, double_ofour for his great kitchen, Faria for his Camera, Anichillus for the Microphone fix, Mfrazz for his settings OEM package and help, and nottoosmart for a few fixes.
The loader does hang on 100 percent and the WM6 Splash screen for a while. It's normal nothing is wrong.
There is no Splash Screnns, IPL SPL OR GSM..So it should work for G4s

It is not a "setting home page question". If you would check this, you will see that some dll is missing. If flashed to your ROM because I thought it is the same then muns but with some fixes, among them the PIE fix. Thanks anyway, no problem

hey ant c, i think i found a little bug crawlin around in the rom. dont know if it is just me or what. i have set up to access my wireless router at home. when i go through the comm manager and turn on wlan it picks up and connects no problem but, if i activate wlan from the icon on the today screen i can only find all of my neighbors routers which are locked. mine is nowhere to be found. like i said, dont know if it just me but you might want to take a look.

I decided to unlock my tilt and put a different ROM on it to make it faster.

2nd - I am about to unlock my tilt with HardSPLv1.

I have been looking at the AT&T Tilt AKU.0.7.0 Cooked ROM. Just Because it’s a tilt ROM if that makes any difference.

ALSO when i do install another ROM version will the AT&T settings be correct for my account? For my data plan and all?

i'm using austinsync's big storage rom found here (the one under "Breaking News") and so far it works the best for me. i have an at&t tilt, did the same thing you're about to do/did and started with the htc ship rom. the htc rom was a large improvement from the at&t rom and out of curiousity rather than need i flashed all of the cooked rom variants floating around. helmi_c rom's are good but i found the tilt variant made my device sluggish. i haven't done any objective analysis but on my device any rom with ptt (push-to-talk: not-free, at&t wireless feature/add-on) i experience severe device lag. currently i'm running austinsync's big storage rom.

again, personally running austinsync's rom right now and looking at your list i can say this rom (austinsync's) fits all of your requirements except a registry editor but that's something you'll have to download on your own regardless; most rom's will not include a registry editor.

i don't know what settings might be correct for your specific account but most, if not all, of the cooked roms have a program called "Connection Setup" that will automatically install your setting settings based on your SIM/Network. the program runs after initial flash and you have to do is select "ok" or "yes" when prompted whether or not you want "Connection Setup" to automatically install your settings. i can't remember but the rom i'm running now does not have "Connection Setup" automatically run upon start-up. the program is installed just not set to automatically run, austinsync can correct me if i'm wrong. personally i like entering my settings manually or else via a cab i created but to each his own.

I second austinsync's Big Storage ROM... I've found on my Tilt it to be the best of what I want, and it's compeletely open for me to customize as I see fit. Very stable, does everything I want and it looks great out of the box.

-hold down the camera-button and the power-button simultaneously.
-stick stylus into the reset button-thingy
kind of tricky with the camera and power button on the same side but you'll see four horizontal bars colored red-green-blue-white from top to bottom when you do it right.
look to see that your SPL matches the following (the KAIS and CPLD are quasi-irrelevant):

if it matches, you can flash any of the Kaiser ROMS. if not, repeat by starting over and re-install Hard-SPL.

As the title says, this is a WinMo 6.1 hybrid, with Vodafone ROM + Radio (both newest), OEM section from the HTC latest build and .net CF / SQL Mobile removed so that you can switch between either 2.0 or 3.5 installs at your leisure using the appropriate CAB (good for developers who are testing!)
This ROM is therefore 'in a HTC style' but with the good bits from the Vodafone ROM.
NO OTHER CHANGES!
Aside from .net changes, the contents of this ROM are completely stock.

am using this rom now and i like it!
works fast, after tweaks and all - very very nice
tried the 3.03 one - nice and fast but couldn't handle the cannot soft reset issue
i soft reset quite often to keep memory and all clean and neat
so didn't like having to pull my stylus to do that all the time esp when i notice the stylus holder getting a little looser...
then tried the vodafone one
everything was ok - but seemed to be laggy on some programs (visible on graphics and video)
then i got onto this hybrid! and must say i am really quite happy.
used ppchanger to set to 50mb but just read a post by tom_codon that it doesn't actually change the pp and it has to be done by XIP so not sure if that madeany difference...

it works great, but has a MoDaCo thing on splash screen xD.. that sucks.. well maybe a splash screen flash can fix it..
well.. in general it works fine, it looks like the HTC stock rom and it has better performance than the other 2 "official" versions.

I like this ROM as well, been good so far.
One oddity which I'm not sure if was the case on the stock Vodafone ROM, is when I've imported text messages from a backup these are not sorted correctly in the threaded SMS. For example all the ones I've sent are at the end and all the ones received are at the beginning, so they are not sorted from a backup and so are not threaded correctly. When new texts arrive these are okay and show as expected. This could be a problem for those who like to keep a history of texts and need to restore from a backup.

OK, new issue... the keyboard is not working exactly correctly with this ROM on my Tilt. The keys are remapped for the function combos (perhaps others, but have not noticed). I'll search for a solution, but if anyone can point me in the right direction...
use the tilt keyboard fix. u can find it in duttys place.

I've seen others looking for this here, and while looking for something else, found a large VGA HTC Home in an Athena AX7510 ROM. I've extracted it from the Athena's OEMAPPS package and created a separate package with the relevant registry entries.

If all icons are missing the likelihood is the CAB couldn't update your registry properly (it isn't "signed") -- it's working as stated on my ROM (based on Tomal V7.7) which has security checking disabled.

I took it from the Ahtena X7510 ROM, but as with ALL versions of HTC Home, it likely will use a large amount of memory.
(I'm looking into something else at the moment, so can't check).

Hmmmmm - I got the chance to test on a different ROM, and saw the same as you. HTC Home Customizer let me bring the other tabs back, and after a soft reset, it worked fine.
Let me know if you want HHC uploaded (I can't remember where I found it, sorry!).

Somehow I can't get it to work. It installs fine (along with HTC Home Customiser) but it doesn't show on my today screen when I select it, even after a soft reset :/ any ideas?

As I mentioned earlier, I see this too with a different ROM. On further investigation, it seems that the registry value HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\HTCHome\Tabsettings is being set to '1'.
*DELETING* this setting from the registry worked for me, and all the tabs appeared.
I'll see if I can see if there's something wrong with the CAB, and if so I'll fix it and re-upload, but you should be OK by making that registry change.

I tried two 20931 roms from other cookers. But the bluetooth device of my tmobile wing can not be recognized.

flash the rom and post here if it works for you.
Loads fine and works good. Will test this out and let you know how it goes. Thank you for the release.
I just flashed this rom, it seems very nice. By that i mean, it is fast, doesn't take too much time to load things. Specialy my music library, every other rom i have tried took a little while to load my music library, But this rom did not take half as much time as the others.
One thing i would like to have changed or removed is the poweroff, and the reason i am asking for is because if you are listening to music and if you press the power button to save battery life it shuts down the music player.
Another beautifull thing i would like to mention about this rom is that if you are texting while listening to music, and decide to use the QWERTY keyboard it doesn't shut down the music player, which all the other roms i have tried had this issue.
One more to mention, is when i flashed this rom, it did not show me the screen for customization and everything was already customized and set for use, which would eventually reset the device which itself takes a lot of time.

<2>Very fast. After I installed the cabs I needed, the memory is about 18MB without Music and Photo tabs.
<3>Internet, email and weather works.
<4>The sound is clear and loud.
Since I am using Tmobile wing (sample of mismatch: @ is mismatched to =), I had to install the keyboard fix - AEKMap 1.3.

There was a tweak to play music while the display was off..I am unable to find it.Try to search.

I will definitely search for the tweak, i clearly forgot to mention that i flashed a t-mobile wing.
But one problem i am having is the wifi connectivity, i do get a strong signal from my router but it actually doesn't connect.
I am also searching for network wizard cab, so i can check mms. If you have it handy can you post the link for it.
I found out that in the programs tab, if you click only once on a program link it opens it up. which all other roms i had tried had the problem of needing double clicking. So it definitely is another positive point.
this ROM works great. super fast and the bluetooth and wifi is working.. no bugs so far..

You can make it 12hr it by going to settings>system>regional settings>time> change style to the 1st or 2nd option.
I like the 24hr clock as it looks prettier on this theme.
program memory
very nice rom.
2 issues found so far
1.13mb of program memory after soft reset and no programs installed?
or maybe something wrong with my phone?

It might be that the rom was not flashed properly.Try flashing the rom again.And the available program memory on this rom is 17-19mb.

Use the search you will get it.
As far as the wifi problem - It might be that there is a problem with the wifi gateway because it is working fine for other xda members.Try it with any other network and if it still does not work then post here.
