Question on manila

Hi, Im working on the manila HD for Xperia, and I have a question on how to "hack" manila.
In photos tab, when I click the camera shortcut, It wont launch the camera.
I know what the problem is, but I cant figure out how to fix it. The thing I need to do is change what exe file the shortcut opens from Camera.exe to CameraRunner.exe.

Manila Touchflo 3D Themes - 4 July 2009

Thanks to maranello's HDWall application at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3616825, I had managed to create two Manila Touchflo 3D Themes (version 2.1 Touchflo 3D) to share with you guys and gals.
The same background is in all the tabs. Hope you will like it. Here's the link:
I have also included the matching background for your Today (Titanium plugin) and Start Menu background.
Hope you will like it.
1. Disable Manila Touchflo 3D
2. Download the theme zip file you want
3. Copy the jpg files to your \Windows directory
4. Run the CleanReg_Manila_Background.mscr
5. Run the cab file (boats_M21.cap or sunsetM21OT.cab)
6. Soft Reset your device.
7. Enable Manila Touchflo 3D
Enjoy!

Maybe a stupid question but what is Manila
I used the search funtion but could'nt find anything usefull.
I like the theme's good job!!!

manila is the technical name for touch flo 3d, the trippy today screen overlay that HTC puts on its phones.
ie all that flip clock stuff and weather application.

How to run CleanReg_Manila_Background.mscr
I'm sorry but when I clic on CleanReg_Manila_Background.mscr my TD2 tell me that no application is associated to CleanReg...

You need to install mortscript.

is there any Manila/TouchFlo 3D standalone .cab?
Got the original xperia ROM (wm6.1) and i dont want to install a 6.5 rom.
Would be nice if someone could post a link for me if there actually is a pure or standalone version. cant find anything, search comes up with thousands an millions of posts =)

I can't find any cab for Manila TF3D as well, so have to be contented with the roms that had it cooked in.

HELP!!
I installed the theme, but realized that the background was white and couldn't read the messages and appointments..So i uninstalled the theme, but the screen rotates with the g-sensor, causing a lot of delays...Could anyone help me get back to the original TF without the rotation thing...Thanks a lot in advance...

I really want to use...
Already try many many time still cant work. I just installed mortscript ,then use the cleanreg, after install the sunset.cab .
Am I wrong for this procedure ???

Use same wallpaper on all tabs for Topaz?

Hi all! I want to talk to you about the wallpaper on all tabs! Because when i used the .cab of HD, he works but i have bug when i want to watch contact and other...
It's possible to use only on manila and not in contact screen or other new component on Topaz than Diamond?

But... this HDWallpaper program doesn't work in Manila 2.6

I have use search button but i don't found the answer of my question! I have the official firmware of HTC and this "cab" doesn't work! TF3D2.037889.1

I can't find it too
I now use the background4alltabs from the blackstone but the start button does'nt work anymore so I can't use it?
I would like to know what to do.

The same for me, i use "mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02.cab", but the start button does'nt work anymore and i could not navigate thru touchflo tabs, they are not visible, only backup helps.

Manilla 2.5 Calendar Question

Hi, i have a cooked rom with manilla 2.5, the problem is that i am missing my Call History button.
is there any way, i can get that button there? i noticed that above, "Calendar" word, there is the date. if i click on the date, i get the stupid calendar again!,
i was wondering, if there is a file or a registry key, where i can change, what that button links to.

Its in the theme of Manila.
Search for Max Manila 2.5 theme for your manila build.
Its highly customizable right from the home screen.

sorry for asking, but i really can't understand how max manilla works. i found it too confusing. can't find a detailed guide.
can u plz navigate me on what to do? i would be thankful.

Don't be sorry, I found it a bit confusing too.
What I'm talking about is his cabbed theme found here
I have it working on the ROM in my sig that has Manila 2.5 and even got the 16 shortcuts to work.
There are multiple options on how to customize right from your home tab.
I used the "Max Manila 2.5 Premium - v1.5c (for 2.51919xxx).cab" file.
Check it out....

manila restart program

Hi, i'm looking for a program to restart manila.exe infact sometimes it stops to work fine and i've to restart the phone. I want a program to restart only the manila inferface

If you are using Cookies Home Tab with CHT Editor there is an option to restart Manila.

If you only want manila without co0kies home tab or similar "manila mods" I dont think there's any app itself thats enable to toggle manila on/off...
If I find one ill write back*

Most of the time all you need to do is go to disable\enable Sense unless it locks up your phone, you can also kill it with QuickMenu taskmanager.

There's no "option" where you can restart manila by yourself..
Im sure djg269 mean when you change something within the manila/CHT homescreen (something that affects the homescreen itself or som other major changes) the program automatically restarts manila.

editing: Or he mean the quicklinks (toggle on/off buttons) wich is available in
CHT v1.8.0 and above....

There is a toggle switch Restart Sense when you edit the Quick links.
