Hi i'm having a small issue with my att fuze...i use my phone as an mp3 player in my car, i use s2p and s2u2 to automatically play when i start my car...
the issue im running into is this.....when i turn my car off, the bluetooth disconnects, and my phone goes to silent mode instead of staying at whatever volume setting it was at...ive missed so many phone calls because of this...
since then, ive tried getting use to changing volume back to normal, but its a hassle...
ive searched the forums, and found a few people with the same issue, but no solutions...ive experienced this with my fuze, and my hermes...
if anyone can offer any help, i'd greatly appreciate it

Well i just switched from Core 2.0 to Faria's Rom kitchen and i no longer have any sound coming out of my phone. The volume is all the way up, and i was having the same problem with Core 2.0. Is there any way to fix this as now i cant make any calls or hear any of my music. Please HELP. The weird thing is though, that when i plug in my headphones sound works. But it seems my speakers are not working. If anyone knows how to fix this please help. When i make a phone call it wont allow me to turn on my speaker. Another Problem im having is my screen keeps turning all white after a while of no use if the keyboard is not slightly out. is there a way to fix this too.
Greets,
I think you need a softreset, if it doesnt help a hardreset, and if it doesnt help flash a OEM rom, and if it doesnt help than a service center.
Do let us know which of the option helped you.
Well when it wasnt working in Xplore 2.0 i switched to Faria's hoping it would work. so i went to the official T-Mobile 2.26 ROM and then to Faria's but it still doesnt work. My sound works sometimes when people call me but i cant hear them and they cant hear me when i pick up.
Alright its working, i really didnt do anything. I just put the headphones in and let a song play for a little, then in the middle of the song, at full volume i pulled the headphones out and now sound is working. Hopefully it will stay that way.
Yes it happens some time, thats y i said to softreset first.
I have the exact same problem. The phone speaker/mic don't work, it doesn't play music or audio files, but when the phone rings it plays that. Using a wired headset is the only way I can use the phone. (Bluetooth seems to have stopped working as well, no idea if it is related.) I have tried soft reset, downgrading to standard rom, upgrading to various other roms, nothing. I have also noticed when on a call, pressing the speaker phone button does nothing, like it is turned off. Any help is greatly appreciated, also anyone else with similar problems, please describe as well so as to give more information for a fix.
speaker problem with me too
Yea, I have the same problem with my MDA Vario. Just started happening, something to do with the headphone jack I think? Headphones work fine but the phone doesn't recognise that the headphones are out and continues to work as though they were in? Anyone have any ideas for a solution?
Hi Guys,
I have the Fuze with NATF 2.3 ROM. If I use a bluetooth headset and then disconnect from it, all of the sounds on the phone stop working. If I try to turn the volumne up the volume shows as all the way up, but no sounds are coming out. The only way I can get the sound back is to soft reset the device.I googled the problem and it seems like others are having this problem as well, has anyone here found a fix?
Here is a thread about the problem at miscrosoft's website

Recently i've noticed that when i go to make a call , after i press CALL it switches on the speakerphone. Also when i recieve a call the speakerphone is automatically activated, which usually deafens me at the same time haha.
Is there an option to turn off this feature? Or is it a bug?
I'm on stock 2.3.4, i'm pretty sure this problem didn't happen before the update.
I apologise if this issue has already been raised, i did do a search but found nothing.
Thanks
This also happens to me. It seems to be after I`ve undocked my phone from the car and its Brodit cradle. When in the car I run Car Home Ultra and Vlingo but when out of the car I can`t find any settings to alter to stop this happening.
Not been in the car this morning and phone works fine. I`m still on 2.3.3 stock T Mobile
Change on setting??
This is driving me batty. Ever since I upgraded to ICS, my phone will not consistently reconnect to my Soundfly View that I use in my car.
Sometimes it connects automatically, sometimes not. I did completely remove the pairing from both devices and repaired, but to no difference.
Most maddeningly, today, it wasn't connected, so I woke the phone (by pressing power) and unlocked it, then it connected. Almost like it was "asleep" or something???
Anybody else have this issue? Is there any fix?
I don't have a suggestion for you, just saying that my experience has been the opposite. I use two completely different stereo bluetooth headset devices to listen to music all day at work (neither one of them has a long enough battery life to last throughout the day so I have to switch)
I use a sony mw600 and a samsung hs3000. I'm sure they are different than your car thing, but I'm sure they do the same thing. Ie, phone and media sounds go through the headset instead of the phone.
Autoconnect has always worked well. For what it's worth I use poweramp as a media player and in the settings there is an option for a persistent service to always start auto playing when the phone pairs to either device, and to stop playing upon a device disconnect. All I have to do is turn on the power, or turn off the power, the service automates the rest.
So if your intended point of the car thingamabob is to get songs to play from the phone through your car speakers, and to use the car speakers to talk on a phone call, maybe consider a media player that has a similar option to what I'm talking about. I'm sure poweramp is not the only one that does.
Thanks for the reply (and sorry for the late reply...busy, and been experimenting).
I've been using the app A2DP Volume which sort of does what you suggest, to launch any app upon BT connect. It's been working fairly well...but I still have this problem.
After some experimentation, I really believe the phone is going into some kind of deep sleep if I haven't used it in a while (even though it is on). My clues: one, this Bluetooth issue, where it will not connect. However, I've gotten to the point of just hitting the power button (even through the case) when it does not connect, and it will then immediately connect and play just fine. Also, I've noticed that in the mornings I have started to hit the power and swipe, and it doesn't show that I have any new email. So I hit power and put it away, and it will ding in a few minutes with my new mail. So at some point in the evenings, it quits checking email.
Is that plausible? I've looked everywhere for some kind of setting, but don't see any.
Well, I blew that theory...
Left work yesterday, it connected fine, first time. Stopped to get gas, got back in, didn't connect, until I pressed power. So, it could not be a sleep problem, over just a few minutes.
I don't get it. So many use BT in their car, but it's always been a pain for me.
Periodically the bluetooth and wifi on my phone will just turn off. When this happens while I'm listening to music, the music will start playing from the phone speakers, which is very awkward at work/in public. This only seems to happen when I have both bluetooth and wifi on at the same time.
I've had this problem since I was stock and it's persisted now that I rooted the phone and am running viper. Has anyone noticed this or could it be a hardware problem with this phone?
Might be hardware, but I'd suggest looking at all other possibilities first. Do you run tasker or ittt (if this then that) type recipes? Have you gone through all your power saving features to make sure it's not powering radios with the screen off?
