How can we find out the difference between Manila 2D and 3D?
Animations... M3D is full of them. M2D... not so much.

nice, but i'm afraid...
I already run manila (TouchFLO 3D) in UNI, but is just too slow (at least beta version).
1.5 frames/sec is just too slow and Uni runs out of memory too with usage.
The lack of a 3d acceleration processor, short RAM (just 64Mb) and no specific drivers, makes it very difficult to adapt TouchFLO 3D to our Uni...

he he he, always on the top of the wave...

there is already a pretty well-working touchflo adaptation, but sadly, the Uni is simply too big to use most of the functions comfortably, and anyway, it has hotkeys for most of the stuff. the only good thing is the scrolling with finger, and Spb Pocket Plus can give you that...
So I think it's a waste of time dealing with touchflo on Uni...
is it possible to completely replace the TFT3d on the ATT Fuze with just the manila 2d, i would hope that would help the device opperate much faster, as also there seems to be more mods for the m2d
Hi I want to know what is the different between manila 2D and spb shell !!
i have spb shell installed on my touch 3G! I want to know if I install the manilaa 2D it turn the touch flo2D to touch flo 3D and which is the better? manila or spb
Manila2D
Hi
I have tried all three shell softwares on my HTC Tytn II, which is QVGA. I have settled with Manila2D. I did prefer Manila3D in terms of functionality but I had a few problems with it and I have not had any problems with M2D. I did not like the functionality of SPB Mobile Shell but that is of course just my opinion. Manila2D works much better when it is cooked into a ROM. I think that this is also true of Manila3D.
Cheers

Is it just me who finds things like SPB mobile shell and the like more hassle than they are worth?
Manilla 2d is a different program than manilla 3d, so know it won't turn the program into manilla 3d.
....and most of the time the program is better cooked into a rom, it really just depends on the rom though. Garmin has a rom for the kaiser that runs m3d better than roms that have it cooked in.
I just want to know could I install manila 3D in HTC 3G or Not ?
and If I install It WHETHER My touch flo 2D turn to Flo 3D like diamond ?
Hi
Hi
You may be able to install M3D on your device, I can't advise more on that so it may be a case of trial and error unless somebody else can advise otherwise. If you were able to install M3D on your device you would effectively have both M2D and M3D installed, so you may have some problems with internal storage space. You can't turn M2D into M3D. It may be better to seek out a ROM without M2D or with M3D cooked into it.

Hi all,
Is it possible to run Manilla 2D of maybe 3D on LG ks20 (or HP HX2190 with WM6.5 - thanks to Spiaatie)?
If the answer is "yes", where can I find the good one? I tried some Manilla 2D's and they all don't work. Maybe the most recent version?
Madmatt.
Anyone cooking wm6.5 128Mb RAM with manila.

Well i guess no one is cooking ... because manilla is 3d driven software so it's not gonna work in uni and it need too much ram say minimum of 70+mb so it's not gonna ... and only one that can work is manilla 2d..... and it's only being ported to QVGA... no one has ported to VGA yet... so don't expoect it....
You can use skins that looks like manila...
manila 2D (old version) work on VGA too .. i used on my 64MB with "ROMs for HTC Universal, by Cotulla" before some time.. engine for QVGA and VGA is same, but you need find VGA skin ..
this is possible if there is VGA skin for new manila .. or if old manila can work on WM6.5
my post about manila on uni with "Cotulla - big mem rom"

Well there is a vga skin over here... still some bugs...

and 6.5 is ram eater so installing manila will make the device unsuable for 64mb user.. how ever might be worthy for 128mb one's...
I'm using a HS++ with manila look a like theme, it gives me more ram to play and some of the basic functionality of manila....
i'll upload some pics once i get home....
Thanks
Thanks for the replys.
I was hoping somwone would build WM6.5 in any of the manila family and get rid of the stupid extra microsoft shell rubbish. Instead I have to install two things for the same job (Titanium and Manila) using extra ROM space.
